We rested on February 20, I didn’t like it very much !! ! friends gave us a presidential number, so we went to the Russian courtyard, looking forward to something unforgettable. Indeed, we will never forget such a holiday!
firstly, there was a preliminary agreement that a fireplace would be kindled by our arrival, and a compliment - champagne from the hotel. When we entered the room, the fireplace was quietly freezing to itself, and no champagne was found either. We decided not to get upset (you never know if we lost sight of it) - we went for a walk along the Lavra.
When they returned, everything remained the same. I had to go down to the reception and remind us of the agreement, we were told "ok" and disappeared. Desperate, we decided to melt it ourselves, but the fireplace had leaky glass and the smoke gradually went into the room (by the way, if the fireplace is solid, then you can do without a door, but there was no draft as well as the attention of the staff).

Saying goodbye to the idea of lighting a fireplace, we decided to use the jacuzzi. BUT IT DID NOT WORK! We called the front desk and explained the situation. A security guard came to help us turn on the jacuzzi, after 15 minutes a plumber joined him, realizing that the jacuzzi would still have to be done - after 20 minutes they called an electrician. It was a matter of principle, and to all the questions of the staff: "well, a hundred SHOULD be done? " we said a stern "yes". The heroic repair took two hours (from 11 pm to 1 am). But it was not this that confused, but three other glaring facts:
1. The hotel staff did not even try to hide their dissatisfaction with the fact that they have to repair equipment that should work.
2. None of them even tried to take off their shoes at the entrance to the room and walked into the BEDROOM of the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE in outdoor boots.
3. We never got an apology from any of the staff.
The evening was completely ruined.
We hoped to at least leave normally, but no such luck. One could forget about the 20 minutes spent at the reception waiting for the room to be checked for us, but the hotel staff decided to finish us off completely. a security guard caught up with us at a distance from the hotel and said that we owe 400 rubles and offered to return in the cold to the reception. Fortunately, we knew about the existence of mobile communications. The essence of the claim was that the room was supposedly paid for at the rate of weekdays, not weekends - they offered to pay the difference on the spot. The number was given to us, the staff was aware of this, we did not deal with calculations on it at all, we had to explain the basics of contract work to the staff (fortunately, the appropriate education allows):
1. the amount in the contract was 7000 rubles (we had to find out, although it was a gift)
2. the invoice was issued for this amount and paid well in advance of the settlement and most likely before the price change for the room.
3. the obligations of the parties were fulfilled and the hotel had no reason to change the contract price (especially verbally)
4. Finally, we were not a party to the contract, and the question of the price and its possible change should at least be discussed with the one who signed and paid for this contract.
TOTAL. With the normal level of beauty of the place and the hotel, the service from the hotel staff is simply terrible, we did not feel the attitude towards ourselves as welcome guests. As a result, I will not recommend this hotel to my friends!
