Greetings to all colleagues in travel and tourism! There are many impressions, Karelia is diverse, but you will never forget it.
1. Solovki Traveled across Karelia from the north down and to the west. First, straight to Solovki, because the weather urged us on. We saw a lot in 3 days: of course, the KREMLIN, what respect and awe for it, then I missed it, I wanted and wanted to go inside, wander, stroke the stones, but we rushed all these days like mad. We visited Bolshoy Zayatsky, Muksalma, walked along the canals along the Small Circle, even stopped in the Fools' Bay and picked mushrooms! But we did not get to Anzer - already due to the weather and time. You have to go to Solovki for at least 5 days, and we had three incomplete ones. We met with the family, they come to the islands several times and travel to their favorite places. Imagine how happy they are: they already have their favorite places on Solovki. and we are like newborns: everything is open to us! For housing: the booked room at the Shelter Hotel was immediately changed on the pier upon arrival to the private sector (contacts remained, if in the high season, you must contact the hostess in advance: a cottage, several rooms are rented, you use the kitchen and everything - 3 tr room for three ), and they decided to use the delta for money for transfers around the island: we traveled with my mother, 4 km is a long time for her, we took a car everywhere, on the skeleton the fare for a car is 800 rubles. hour, but I found more democratic. We spent the night on Solovki and back in Rabocheostrovsk at the Prichal hotel - the only place that left a negative about the attitude and the number of rooms, although I wrote off with their manager and she helped me a lot and I am grateful to her.
2. Then we immediately went to the Alekka campsite, which I booked in advance and made an advance payment (65 km from Petrozavodsk deep into the p / island, on the shore of the most beautiful Syamozero. On the way (almost everywhere new, renovated, high-quality) all the churches that I mentioned visited , yes, and in Kemi we found a beautiful church, We met Yu Yu at the camp site. Warm welcome, attention and care, few vacationers, grace around the forest, sea berries, we persuaded ourselves that we were not pickers, we were bursting mushrooms, unusual mushrooms, well, it didn’t work out to collect them with plantations, but anyway, so much fun! dried a little, it was already somehow cool to raft along the Shuya, although it’s a sin to complain about the weather - it pleased us the whole trip. After 3 days we went west, along the road there were waterfalls, oh, you would know how we were looking for the White Pillars waterfall. I had printed out "250" variants of descriptions of how to get to it, but you have to go and find it yourself. We got lost, but found an unusual mountain of Love, climbed it, fo mapped the northeastern shore of Ladoga. We found it - majestic, to be sure! On the way back, we were a little stopped: an oncoming car got stuck on the road. while we were getting out, we reached Ruskeala, but we saw the beauty of marble the next day. spent the night in the Finnish Kirche, which I also "looked after" on the Internet, what grace and comfort there. didn't want to leave. (1000 rub. day/person, this includes tea, coffee, extraordinary pastries - when you want, REAL sauna, Finnish society, fireplace. . . )

3. And also the main thing: these are the people who helped us, who met us, with whom we communicated: they are always happy and ready to help. Look here: Yuyu at the camp site. will never pass without asking how we rest, what we do. we ran out of antifreeze, so he raised all his guys to find us this antifreeze. what can I say: he is a man in his place. Say hello to him, and the cat kingdom is simply charming. and fed HOW!!!
4. all accommodation in Karelia is EXPENSIVE, VERY, the prices in Europe were not even close. but this does not reduce the impression of the edge. I booked all my accommodation in advance, with an advance payment only at the camp site, but then I found out already there that in the village nearby, on the shore of the most beautiful Syamozero, you can rent a private sector, just dock in advance, and the payment is also cheaper than the camp site. but the cost of excursions to Solovki seemed affordable to me.
this is how we got to know Karelia. few, just few, not that we are greedy, we must not be greedy for impressions: there are never many of them. want and want to return to you.
Write, ask, there are many contacts you need left. I wish you a journey through amazing Karelia!
