With Stockholm card for 5 days, which costs 1050 crowns, we visited most of the planned places. I will say right away that we "recaptured" this money only at museums, not to mention the fare, which costs at least 36 crowns for 75 minutes.

The first museum we visited was the Moderna Museet, which is located on Skeppsholmen Island. At the entrance you will be offered to go to one of the selected expositions - architecture or contemporary art. Choose the second, because. the first exposition is only architectural buildings of different centuries in Sweden + all sorts of buildings from pixels that are printed on a 3D printer.

In general, the island itself is interesting. It's nice to just walk around. On the way to the island you will pass a bridge on which crowns are forged on both sides. Beautiful photos are obtained.

We immediately went to the neighboring island - Kastellholmen. There are also beautiful views of the neighboring islands. We took a snack with us, there are benches there. A beautiful picnic came out)

Generally about food. Coop, ICA, Willys markets have special racks where you can pick up any ready-made food into a plastic bowl. Salads, cold cuts, pasta-rice-cereals, sauces. It is very convenient when you walk a lot. And economically. There are also ready-made such assorted, but it is better to combine for yourself. It turns out such a pleasure - 9.90 kroons per 100 g. And this 100 g can be meat, cereals, and salad. 300-400 grams was enough for me to eat normally twice) Plus they bought yogurts, bread, pastries. Very handy when walking in the park. We used to do picnics like this all the time.

The next day, a trip to the Vasa Museum, which is located on the island of Djurgarden, was planned. The island itself is quite large and most of the sights of Stockholm are located on it. Therefore, in addition to the Vasa Museum, our plans included visiting Junibacken (Astrid Lindgren Museum), Aquaria Water Museum and just a walk in the park.

You can get to the island of Djurgarden by tram 7, which travels from T-Centralen, or by bus 69, although I don’t know the final one. But we only rode a couple of times, mostly we went on foot) Only the last few days have already been riding just like that.

Stockholm card when traveling on a bus, tram, you don’t need to fit anywhere, just show it to the driver, if only the front doors are opened for you (this was the case on the bus), or to the conductor, who go both in trams and buses. You need to show the side of the card where the time and date of activation are indicated.

The Vasa Museum has 7 levels that you can access on foot or by lift. In general, the ship itself is impressive in size. Many different expositions, besides Vasa itself. We watched a film about how we searched, raised and restored the ship. Very interesting.

In general, before the trip, we read a lot of different information about Sweden itself, about Stockholm, about each museum, about some of the nuances, so we were already prepared. The story of Vasa was also read many times, so we watched the film without translation normally.

Walking around the museum is a pleasure, although there are a lot of people. But it's worth it. It's not every day you see a 13th century ship)

The Junibacken Museum (Astrid Lindgren Museum) is a paradise for little ones. But also very educational for adults. We really enjoyed riding in the trailer where I tell Lindgren's tales. Mom, who is 53 years old, was delighted) Ask at the entrance to these trailers to have stories turned on in a language that you understand. There is also a cafe on the ground floor. You can eat. When we were, a lot of people went to eat, so we chose a picnic in a clearing, not far from the museum)

The museum has a souvenir shop - children's T-shirts, pajamas. A lot of things with drawings of Moomintroll, Carlson, Peppy and Nilson. Prices are higher than in souvenir shops on Drottninggatan. For example, a children's T-shirt - 129 kroons.

Aquaria Water Museum is an interesting place, though not very big. But looking at the fish, sitting in the patio on the steps and basking in the sun is very relaxing after exhausting trips to museums.
