Nordiska museet is a very beautiful building from the outside and no less grandiose inside. There are many different expositions, a couple of floors, there is a cafe where you can have a bite to eat and free toilets) We went through all the floors and expositions. For the general development - very even nothing. I think that in the summer heat, it's good to hide from the sun)

Some expositions were especially impressive: national costumes, dishes, interior, decorations. I have not been to similar museums, but I was impressed with its scope.

Skansen is a famous open-air museum. You can write about history and interesting facts for a long time. We arrived there at the opening (10:30), but there were already decent people there. And this despite the fact that we were only at one of the three entrances and exits.

We entered through the entrance with a large "Skansen" sign. There are two options to climb to the top - by funicular or on foot. The first one will cost 25 crowns one way, the second one will be free. Since it was morning and we were full of energy, we chose the second option.

At the entrance you will be given a map on which everything that is located on the territory of the museum is drawn in detail. I advise you to take a pen to it, what to sketch, what paths you have walked, and which ones are yet to come =)

We started our ascent from the Oscar terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the Nordiska museet. There is a rose garden there, which probably has a lot of flowers in summer.

Then we went through the Observatory, mills - you can choose the route that seems convenient to you)

Be sure to go to the menagerie! The bears put on a great show for us, fighting with each other) The children generally squealed with delight.

I liked the Seglora church - we were inside and listened to the choir. Soothing place.

The architecture of Hallestad Belfry is very impressive! I have never seen such a church.

The park is quite large and it takes at least 3-4 hours to walk through it. This is without long stops and long snacks! Ideally, you should set aside a whole day for Skansen.

Plus, the park has the Skansen Aquarium, which is much larger in size and range than the Aquaria Water Museum. Be sure to go there. Admission is free, with our card.

We went to drink coffee at the Gubbhyllan cafe - the price is high, coffee - not impressed + stood in line for 20-25 minutes.

Overall impressions from Skansena are very good. Many beautiful views, animals, history... We walked a lot along the roundabout roads - it's quiet there and there are also a lot of beautiful things.

There are special places for a picnic (there are special markings on the map where they are) - you can take a coverlet with you and have a snack.

After a hike along the Skansen, we went to the Museum of Biology. Small museum, nothing special. I liked the wooden staircase and the idea of building a museum. The exhibits were not impressive after what they saw in Skansen.

After all, there was still time and we took bus 69 to Kaknastornet, a 155-meter high television tower, to enjoy the evening views of Stockholm. In this we made a little mistake, as the evening city is illuminated by the sun, which makes it difficult to take normal photos. But even so) Therefore, in order to capture all this beauty on a camera, it is better to go in the morning or afternoon, or in cloudy weather. The site itself is on the 31st floor, take the elevator. On the 30th floor there is a skybar and a cafe, on the 28th floor there is a restaurant.

The views are sooo impressive and mesmerizing! In all directions!

Separately, I want to tell you about the beautiful sakura that bloomed in Kungstradgarden. Great place to walk, especially in the morning. Nearby is the Kungstradgarden metro station, from which you can walk to this place. The Opera and the beautiful church - Jakobs kyrka are also located nearby. It was from this place that we often started our route around Stockholm, since it was convenient for us to get from our station and there were few people in the morning.
