Stayed at this hotel from April 29.2019. to 02.05. 2019 With such an inexpensive price (it's cheap for Singapore, since the city itself is very expensive) I was ready for unforeseen unpleasant surprises, but the hotel was a pleasant surprise. The most important thing is the excellent location - 5 minutes to the subway and 15-20 minutes walk to the main attractions and Clarke Quay. From the airport, 40-50 minutes by metro on a straight line (to the Bugis stop). For convenient travel around Singapore by public transport, I recommend purchasing an EZ-Link card (at the airport or metro), which at the end of your stay can be returned at any metro station and the remaining money on it can be returned. EZ-Link card can be used not only in public transport, but also in a taxi and in a supermarket.
The rooms are austerely simple, but everything is clean, shower supplies are replenished daily, cleaning is good, towels are changed daily. I think it's better to take a room with a window, although the windows do not open. But, anyway, it's nice to start your morning by looking out the window and seeing the beautiful multi-storey buildings of the "lion city".
I would not call breakfasts breakfasts, but rather a light snack in the spirit of a coffee break at some seminar. But for 2-3 days they are suitable so as not to be hungry and not waste time in the morning looking for breakfast somewhere. By the way, around the hotel there are mainly cafes of Asian cuisine (and you yourself understand the specifics, I personally don’t eat that). I recommend dining on Clarke Quay. It is very beautiful in the evening and there are many cafes with non-Asian cuisine. If you return to the hotel late and want to drink, for example, wine, you should know that alcohol can be purchased at 7-Eleven supermarkets, but only until 22.30.
Hotel service is good, very friendly staff. In general, I am incredibly impressed with the Singaporeans - very responsive and pleasant people in all respects.
The main argument in favor of this hotel (of course, for a stay of no more than 3-4 days) is its cheapness with an excellent location and a comfortable stay. I definitely recommend.
