Another conversation is that over the years it began to slowly deteriorate, but its location in relation to the road to the airport, from the city, is very successful, traffic jams were avoided.
The rooms are two-room, three very comfortable beds, there is even a chair-bed for the fourth, but this is more likely for a child, there is air conditioning and a TV in each room, the bathroom is in perfect order. Everything is clean, comfortable, smells nice, even though the room is for smokers. There are cups, glasses, a kettle and coffee-tea-sugar bags. Refrigerator with mini-bar at unpleasant prices, for the lock to the safe they asked for a deposit of 500 baht, for the room 100 "evergreen".
We settled on the twenty-fourth floor. At one time, we were lucky, there was an opening door to the fire escape, this time my husband took out a multitool from his suitcase and opened the lock on the balcony door. The dirt there is terrible, of course, but no one washes the floor, it was not calculated for such “violators” like us to go out only in shoes. But you can breathe real warm Bangkok air and take pictures of the surroundings not through dirty glass! And the surroundings have noticeably changed, the pedestrian viaduct has lengthened, the electronics store has disappeared somewhere and the thickets of skyscrapers have become much thicker.
On the eleventh floor, the pool, in which we soaked after a seven-hour journey in a minibus, is open from seven in the morning until, it seems, eight in the evening, there is a gym nearby - neither one nor the other is in demand, no hype has been noticed. Moreover, it seemed that only Russian speakers were splashing in the pool, as many as three people met in a day besides us.
Around these three hotels - Bayok-Syut, Baiyok-Sky and Indra, the market boils all the time, clothes are in fierce quantities, but it was not possible to buy pineapple with mango to take home, but you can already eat native food with more comfort than before, by going to across the road on a footbridge towards the store "Platinum", the ubiquitous "7-11" next to the hotel is also available.
What disappointed us was the breakfast! The dining room is located on the forty-second floor, a buffet - you run around the ring, choosing what to eat, where to sit with a pleasant view from the window (panoramic windows), and if you still have time for sunrise (about half past six), then admire the red sun rising from the brush of skyscrapers. Having made a circle along the tables with saucepans, I sadly realized that there was nothing special, salads and rice. Then a quietly boiling husband rushed to the table, spoiled by breakfasts at a hotel on Koh Chang, said that the only source of protein is scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, he said everything that he thinks about vegetarian food (brutal predator : )), but the sad thing is that it wasn't tasty! Judging by the people in the morning, the hotel is popular with the Chinese and Indians, although this impression can be formed about many hotels. Around the dining room there is an open area from which you can look at the surroundings and breathe in the morning unconditioned air.

The rooms are two-room, each has air conditioning and TV, plumbing leaked slightly. The bar in the room is expensive, but it's like everywhere else, Wi-Fi is also not cheap. The hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok, so you can walk to the shopping center and markets on foot without much difficulty. In general I advise!

Immediately from Bangkok airport, refusing to meet the transfer, we went by taxi to the hotel. It cost us only 400 baht, instead of the transfer fee of $100. We stayed at the Baiyoke Suite Hotel from March 23 to March 27.
The hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok's Pratunam shopping district and is surrounded by lively markets. Yes, that's right. . . leaving the hotel lobby, you immediately find yourself on a shopping street and so on throughout the entire microdistrict. A place for a couple of days for overnight stays and shopping - ideal)
About the hotel. The hotel itself is a little old and none of the travel agencies do not hide it. The room was on the 28th floor, the so-called "quatro". These are two adjacent rooms for the life of four people. The number is normal. There is everything you need. We only spent the night there, the rest of the time we were in the city - on excursions. There is no Russian television in the hotel. The bed was changed every day. Bathroom supplies were brought every day. Towels were changed every day. Tea and coffee sets were added every day. The servants were not noticeable at all, they were somehow invisible. The plumbing in the bathroom is all new, everything is serviceable and clean. The furniture itself in the rooms can be seen to be worn out and live a constant life of guests.
Air conditioners - BEASTS) for the night the “Blowing” mode, no more. Quite loud and old in modification. The windows were dirty, but they all opened. The balcony was also opened with an ordinary teaspoon, we are normal Russian people, and we don’t experience any obstacles in any space of the world)
Safe in the room. We left a deposit in the amount of 500 baht and used it without problems.
Upon check-in, there is also a deposit of $ 100 or 2.000 baht. They ask in dollars, but we immediately gave it in baht, because if something is wrong during check-out... then they recalculate in baht at "their" unfavorable rate.
Restaurant on the 43rd floor, in the morning there were minutes of waiting "down" after breakfast, when the people were all driving up, but it was not so noticeable or stressful. Breakfast is normal, no frills and modest pastries. But there is everything and no one left hungry. We ate our fill) it’s quite cold in the restaurant itself, on the second day we went in shirts with long sleeves, and began to choose tables with the sunrise side, it’s warmer there.
You can go out to the balcony, where they cook bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs - you get good photos with views of Bangkok waking up.
The gym is funny) a couple of treadmills and a bike, and it's all PAYING. But after walking around the city, I didn’t really want to do it, we relaxed in the pool.
About the pool separately... there are two of them. One is more or less with a depth of up to 2.10 cm, the other is a “paddling pool”. Both are very ancient. The floor tile of the bottom is peeled off, and my boys were cut regularly. Also, the environment around the perimeter of the pool is lined with small pebbles - very painful when you touch them when leaving or entering from the water. Go down the stairs only) A towel is issued at the entrance to the pool, after which it is handed over against signature. There were enough beds for everyone.
Massage at the hotel is expensive, we went to the market, there you can see the brand name "M" - McDonald's and there is also a good salon for manicure, pedicure and massage. Enjoyed every evening. Girls work until 22.30.
There are plenty of edibles along the streets, buy and eat without fear. Trade in the streets around the hotel is round the clock, the night shift leaves around 10 am and day traders take their place. If you have a desire for shopping, do not be shy) further into the city, the goods are the same, and the prices are many times higher.
Getting around the city by taxi meter is cheap and fair.
I will not write about excursions, a lot has been written and told. But Bangkok is worth it to go there and breathe in its smell.

There is a skytrane (metro air) nearby) "Ride at least a couple of stops - you won't regret it. Personally, I was happy like a child. The food was very good, just for slaughter: a mixture of typical European breakfasts (cereals with milk, scrambled eggs, etc. ) and local Thai dishes (do not recommend if you have a bad stomach. ) The restaurant is located on the 43rd floor and is made in the form of a huge observation deck (just glass instead of walls). restaurants are probably strong air conditioners: the coffee had time to cool down long before I had time to drink it.
It is very noisy near the hotel: living on the 23rd floor, I heard the noise of the street late at night.
Another bad thing: there is no way to open the window or go out to the balcony, and also the fact that this hotel does not provide an iron and a hairdryer (or at the reception they simply did not understand what I wanted from them)

The hotel is very good for its three stars! We lived, if I am not mistaken, as it was a year ago, on the 34th floor. I liked the room very much, it was a two-room. In one room there is a sofa, table, chairs, a small table, a large TV, a wardrobe, a kettle, a large bedside table and a full-wall window, a balcony, although it was closed and there was a funny sticker in English that the manager had the key for the safety of customers. … More ▾ The hotel is very good for its three stars! The toilet is combined with the bathroom, but very clean and comfortable, with hot water, a hairdryer, all bathroom accessories up to the comb. The payment included breakfast, I don’t remember which floor the restaurant was on, but almost on the very last, if I’m not mistaken in a hotel with more than 40 floors, in the restaurant all the walls are made of glass. Super breakfast buffet, about 50 dishes, 15 types of drinks. There are many shopping centers nearby, where you can get dressed from head to toe for a penny. Be sure to go to Baiyoke Sky to the observation deck, a breathtaking sight. This is a hotel about which we can say that the price corresponds to the quality by 100 percent!
