We have been choosing between 5-star hotels for a long time, and to be honest, I have never regretted that we stayed here. I have never experienced such pleasure from living anywhere else.
HOW TO GET THERE? : We got to the hotel by taxi, at the airport there is an exit in a city taxi. It is called "Public Taxi" and is located on the street on the first floor.
You go to the booking desk, say the address of your hotel or show a printout with the address or hotel map, and then wait for a car to drive up to you or a taxi driver to take you to the car. The bill went to the hotel 477 baht, this includes: airport surcharge 50 baht + meter 357 baht + travel on a multi-level highway 70 baht. Returned 400 baht.
There is another way to get to the hotel.
You need to take the escalator to the 4th floor and you can take a taxi where tourists are brought for departure.
There is no taxi rank, taxi drivers just stand after the delivery of passengers, and they are immediately kicked out by the inspector, so they are happy to take everyone who needs to go to the city according to the meter. It is called "Taxi-metr". It's better to go by the meter, it's cheaper, but sometimes they need to be reminded of this. Which we did on our way back to the airport.
If you travel by taxi, note that taxi drivers do not have change from large bills, it is better to always change somewhere, so as not to end up in an uncomfortable situation later.
ABOUT THE HOTEL: We took an executive room with access to the lounge. Quick check-in with welcome cocktail. Everything was clearly explained what and where and at what time. We were escorted to the room, conducted mini tours of the room. The luggage was delivered quickly. They responded immediately to all requests (there are no bathroom accessories, do not be afraid to remind them to bring them). The room on the 30th floor is chic, convenient arrangement of objects and furniture.
Our room was cleaned twice a day, which was very nice. It was possible to have breakfast in the restaurant on the 5th floor or in the lounge on the 32nd floor, it was convenient for us to visit the lounge, the breakfasts were hearty, varied, just excellent. The pool on the 14th floor is cool, although there are a lot of people there during the day. It's better to walk in the morning. There were no problems with the elevator, always came, did not have to wait long. Evening trip to the lounge was also always successful. Everything is delicious, original cocktails, cozy and clean, very helpful staff. With English, unlike Fr. Samui is no problem here.
Exit to the metro through the 3rd floor gives a huge plus to the hotel, you can move around the city mobile. The location of the hotel is very good, and the views from the hotel are simply magnificent. You can get to attractions, shops, shows and other places quickly.
There are not many cafes and restaurants near the hotel, so you can have dinner at the hotel or, for example, in the shopping center area, or, if you are not lazy, you can take a taxi or walk to the right place. You can always find it on the internet. Therefore, we took such a room so as not to bathe on this issue, and in the evening from 17:30 to 19:30 visit the lounge, where you can have a very good dinner.

We spent most of the time shopping and visited the show "Calypso", by the way, is not far from the hotel by taxi 60-70 baht. You can order tickets for the show through their website, it will be cheaper, and you will be immediately provided with a table with seats (900 baht per person, this includes 1 alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail, ice cream). We really liked the show, there were a lot of emotions.
As for shopping, of course, this is Siam Paragon (you can find good clothes), Terminal 21 (each floor is represented by a country and capital, for example, Italy-Rome, Japan-Tokyo, Turkey-Istanbul, etc. ), visited MBK (you can buy souvenirs, they sell well) and there were Siam Discovery, Siam Center and some other shops along the way, but I didn’t remember the names, they just ran quickly, because there was little time.
We wanted to go to Dream World (amusement park), but, unfortunately, there was not enough time, it is closer to the airport. Temples did not visit left for the next visit.
If I am in Bangkok again, I will definitely come only to the Eastin Grand Hotel and I will advise everyone to stay in it. This is a modern, comfortable and convenient hotel. I will definitely visit, what I did not have time and postponed.
