We flew from Phuket to Bangkok, used it as temporary accommodation for 1.5 days. If I had lived in Bangkok before flying to Phuket, then I would have liked everything, but not vice versa. After palm trees, white sand, sun, sea, smiling faces, we arrived in Bangkok... with the impression that we got to the huge Chirkizovsky market, among which hotels were poked.
The hotel itself seems to be quite good, but after a holiday in Phuket, it all loaded a little.
Settled in a non-smoking room on the 28th floor in room 2808. View of the pool (downstairs on the 11th floor), the view from the window is not bad, the room itself is decent, in terms of interior it is designed just for the capital. I will say right away that the furniture is far from new, the corners, the backs of the chairs are not that scratched, the impression that they were squeezed with a planer. I'm not picky, I'm not very upset, I just smiled a little))) But I know that repairs are underway.

The style of the room is not to my taste (well, you won’t please everyone), but it’s clean and there are no extraneous smells! The breakfasts are good, I was pleased with the outdoor pool on the 11th floor overlooking the skyscrapers, live music plays in the lobby in the evening, using a computer without Internet is free. By the way, DO NOT throw away glass bottles containing free water, they will be asked to pay for them. And one more thing: upon check-in, they take a deposit of $ 50 per person, upon deportation, the entire amount was returned without any problems (even with the same banknotes). Nice view from the reception balcony. DISAPPOINTED dry ration (checked out at 2 am, asked for breakfast to go), so they gave half a sandwich with cheese, a croissant, a glass of water and ONE and a half pineapple slices and EVERYTHING!! ! (((In Crimea they gave a full package (at the expense of lunchboxes, of course) of food. The staff is good, but can not be compared with Phuket, besides 4 *.
So the hotel is very nice, and even better not to leave it or step exclusively on guided tours. We refused and decided, as in Phuket, to travel around everything ourselves and see - we wasted a day (they have a service there at a certain time, they don’t let anyone in), we spent time persuading a divorce from the taxi driver, we walked a lot and saw those clean streets along which tourists are led, namely their life....the sensations are far from pleasant, especially when I remember the fetid smells of the streets... And so everything is super !!!! !
