The hotel is located in a terrible place, at the mouth of the river, high tides twice a day, there is no normal beach, mosquitoes, mosquitoes - this is included. In the room we were bitten so that each had 50 bites, 1.5 cm in diameter. A terrible sight, and both the tour operator and the hotel do not care. We were offered to change the room to the next one, where mosquitoes flew in flocks. The prices at the hotel are insane, because the hotel is located 2.5 km from the nearest village and he uses this, the exchange rate differs by 15% from the normal one. We wanted to cry. When asked to change the hotel, they offered an additional payment of $ 1500 for 6 days. We decided to travel, spent several days on neighboring islands, escaping from this wilderness. By the way, in order to sunbathe on a good beach, you also need to sail to some island. The hotel provides this service for only $45 per person. I had to look for an alternative in local boat services. The local population does not speak English, sometimes they had to explain themselves with drawings, but they are very friendly, and with some imagination, they can help diversify their leisure time. For example, fishing for $ 80 for the whole day for 4-6 people with visits to different islands, plus sightseeing tours of different islands for the same money. Quite unexpectedly, in Pakmenge (a neighboring village) they found a pretty decent restaurant - Ya Ta Le. Delicious, affordable, but very spicy. You need to ask for "know spicy". We especially recommend Tom Yum Yatali soup. There is a cool grotto on nearby Muk Island that is a must-visit at low tide - a fantastic place. Nearby is a very beautiful island of Kradan with beaches and very beautiful water, Anantara has its own beach there. Not far from the hotel, 7 km there is a national park, but there is nothing to do there. In general, they spoiled our holiday as best they could. Separately, I express my indignation with the guide Anastasia, who represents the host. it turns out that she had never been to this hotel at all, she behaved defiantly, almost boorishly.
