The location of the hotel is good - away from the hustle and bustle, but close to markets, public places. Vacationing with my husband and kids. Arrived at Krabi airport quickly and without problems. We were met by a nice and talkative escort who provided detailed information and helped with the settlement. I really liked the hotel at first sight. At the reception friendly and kind staff, a warm welcome. The rooms are all small, but cozy and equipped with everything you need: safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, air conditioning, fast WI-FI, TV, kettle. Bathroom with good plumbing, with a set of soap accessories. The view from the room is on the mountains, very picturesque, and as I understand it, these rooms have much better sound insulation. Cleaning is pretty good, towels are changed, beds are changed 2 times a week. Satisfied with the service. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed and clean. There are two good pools, playground. The beach is located about 20 minutes from the hotel, you can go, you can walk. Crowded. But clean, the water is just amazing! The food is pretty good too. Breakfast is standard (scrambled eggs, porridge, vegetables, fruits, yoghurts, drinks), lunches and dinners are varied, hearty and delicious, many Thai dishes, seafood and fish dishes are cooked flawlessly. Outside the hotel there are many restaurants and cafes where you can have a bite to eat quite inexpensively. The staff at the hotel treats guests very well, providing comfort and coziness. Tour operator TPG coped with the organization of the rest perfectly, everything was cool, the rest is memorable! I am satisfied, glad that it was so cool and fully able to relax in an inexpensive hotel. We took so many cool photos - the nature is amazing! I would return. Have a good holiday everyone!

The hotel is close to the sea, near the coast (beach) of Ao Nang, there is also Pra Nang beach, but it is not as clean as this one. Rock climbers go to Railay. Equipment is available for rent.

The beaches on the islands are much more beautiful, white sand, palm trees, all that you will see when you go to any web page of any hotel in Thailand, Krabi. You can also snorkel there, there are many different fish, and there are also sea urchins. I was even scared, because. I could not assess the degree of danger for myself, because the water is very clear and it was difficult to say at what distance from you the hedgehog was.
Despite the fact that my letter may seem restrained, the photos will speak for themselves, and I can call the rest unforgettable and the most exotic. In fact, we ventured to go to Krabi, and not other resorts in Thailand - for one simple reason - we wanted privacy and silence.
This is what Krabi looked like to us. Upon arrival - it was clear - an active coast with a bunch of tourists and serving Thais, which is normal, without all this it would be boring. And when compared with the description of Pattaya and Koh Samui, then quieter : ), whoever likes what. If you want privacy, then choose the CENTARA GRAND BEACH RESORT & VILLAS hotel in Krabi or a hotel on Phi Phi Island (this is an island in the form of a "bow" located close to Krabi, you can get there by fast boat in 35-45 minutes. During your vacation we met the guys who were there for 2 days, they said that nature is fantastic, but boring). We went to the territory of the CENTARA hotel, where the British mostly rest. This hotel has a large beautiful area, has its own boat that runs to the coast of Ao Nang every half hour. People come here from the hotel for cheaper drinks, food, massages, excursions, the Internet.
As for our hotel - Best Western Ban Ao Nang Villa Resort - I can only say that this is a good value for money. Breakfast - European - bacon, various types of scrambled eggs, toast with jam, muesli and corn flakes with milk, fruits, usually 3 types - pineapple, papaya, watermelon. It is better not to order anything in the hotel restaurant, here it is 2 times more expensive than in restaurants on the coast. The territory is small. The British, Americans, Swedes, Norwegians mainly rest here, there are Russians, but not many. Many of them come with children, because. the coast is suitable for swimming with the little ones. I admire their courage, as flights are not easy. There are almost no Chinese. Communication in Krabi is only in English, not all the staff at the hotel know English, only at the reception they can clearly answer something. In general, this is normal - they are Thais, not Americans. Sign language is the most universal in the world : )! . Instorans like to hang around the pool for days, and the pool is located next to the hotel restaurant, I would call it a summer cafe. However, it is much more interesting to take a boat and go to the nearest island, I liked it - the island of the Rooster, on which there is also a sandy spit. It is better to sail on it in the morning, otherwise the tide begins in the evening. Of the islands, I can also mention Mamba Bay.
Tours are easy to order on the street, very clear tour advertisements, with pictures. The tour includes food and drinks, you don't have to worry about drinking. Buses are comfortable. On average, 1 excursion costs $ 50. Discounts are made. Pick up from the hotel at 8, arrive at 5 pm. To take a boat to the nearest island, you need to go to the pier on the coast. For $ 20 they will take you there and take you back at any time by your agreement with the boat driver. No one will be left on the island, even if you have lost your boat, don't worry.
We rested in Krabi for 10 days, the remaining 2 - in Bangkok. The city is amazing! It takes about 3 days to see it. The tour was ordered from a guide, we decided not to waste time looking for local tour operators, given that we had little time.
I would like to highlight the food. A wide variety of seafood, soups, fruits. At first, we only ate mildly spicy food, then we gradually got used to spicy food. At the curor, all fresh juices are called juices, in Bangkok - juice is juice from packs. Our favorite drink is green coconut.
