I want to share information about Dara, because I missed it before the trip! Dara is located on the coast of northern Chaweng, in the center of all the bustling life of the island - disco, shows, shops, bazaars, pharmacies! There is no green territory and no territory in general - it is a very long, narrow strip through which the hulls stretch and a very pretty stream with fish, quite beautifully decorated with greenery, bridges and gazebos.

Dara is located on the coast of northern Chaweng, in the center of all the bustling life of the island - disco, shows, shops, bazaars, pharmacies! There is no green territory and no territory in general - it is a very long, narrow strip through which the hulls stretch and a very pretty stream with fish, quite beautifully decorated with greenery, bridges and gazebos. Immediately behind the hulls, a pool begins, elongated from shallow to deep!
The check-in went pretty quickly, they treated me to a cold hibiscus, they gave out the keys, the taychik carried things, the size of my suitcase))))
We liked the room! Cozy, clean, not big. There is a bath and shower and all the necessary berths! I was very surprised by the absence of a wall between the bathroom and the room - instead of it there is a sliding window! But then we were interested in this "affair"! There is also a terrace overlooking the neighboring bungalows. There are NO rooms with a sea view!
Meals. We took only breakfast, but we regretted it, although they are tasty but monotonous, and around there is such an abundance of cafes for every taste! Breakfast was until 10.30, did not arrive on time, they would take everything right from under their noses, no one will wait until you think! We went to the beach for dinner, it's full of romance, all the hotels put tables in the sand and offer to taste fresh seafood!
Beach. As I wrote earlier, the pool stretched by the stream from shallow to standard, but not big! There is a bar, sofas! Behind him is the beach umbrellas, sun loungers, tables, there were always enough of them. There are massage houses where Thais sit and lure you to taste the delights of Thai massage! The SEA is shallow, which is a big plus for children, but not for those who like to swim. In the morning it goes to 5 meters, and the tide is already late in the evening (this was in the first half of May). The reason for the shoal is the reef, somewhere 800m before it! But thanks to this, the north of Chaweng is considered the most beautiful - the water is clear turquoise, brimming over with small islands that you can walk to about waist-high! You can walk to the right along the coast of 700 meters to 1 km to deep water, but the water there is less clean for the open sea!
The weather was good all two weeks - sunny, it rained for a day and a half, but it was warm! The humidity on the island is very high, but you quickly get used to it!
In general, we really liked the hotel and the rest! The island itself is worth it, very interesting excursions, were on waterfalls, in the jungle, riding elephants! On a bike, we traveled almost the entire island! In general, it is not for nothing that this island is called paradise on earth!
