The road is not very busy, but in the morning the traffic was more intense and we woke up not from the singing of birds, but to the sounds of signals and the noise of passing vehicles. Plus, the child had to be monitored, the road is still, I didn’t like it. We only paid for breakfast. . They are excellent in the hotel, they will make any coffee, any fresh juices and smoothies for free, they will cut, peel and bring mangoes, you just have to ask for everything. The supply of free water in the room is normal, they were replenished twice a day. Beach. There's a big minus here. Before the trip, I read in the reviews that the sea is shallow, but I did not expect that everything would be so sad. In the morning, the depth of the water is up to the knee, in the afternoon, at low tide, it is ankle-deep, it is impossible to reach the depth, it simply is not there!!!!! ! We, lovers of swimming in the sea, were very disappointed : -( Before lunch, we splashed in the sea knee-deep, after lunch, when the water dropped and became hot, we went to swim in the pool. But, I must admit that the hotel area is very beautiful ! ! Everything is buried in the greenery, nightingales sing, a very beautiful beach, just a corner of paradise! We tried to eat at the hotel, but the prices are high, plus 30% tax, and the food, although beautiful, is not delightful. On average, lunch for three is $ 80-100 (for example, salad, 2 soups, chicken, vegetable starter, soft drinks) Sometimes the hotel arranges buffet dinners on the beach. We were at the place where the Fire show was, we liked the show, the dinner was so-so, we paid $ 150 for three (two adults and a child) plus drinks separately. We went to the Sunday night market in Lamai, it was dirty, there was nowhere to sit down with food, crowds of people, I didn’t like it. Basically, we went to a cafe on the beach for lunch, if you stand facing the sea, then on the left, go 3 minutes along the sea, called Uncle Rag, delicious, inexpensive. For dinner, we tried the following options: Dr Frog - expensive and the food is not very good, Tarua seafood - a simple restaurant, but a large selection of seafood and they are fresh, Rock'n salt - our favorite, not far to go, you can walk, tables near the water, beautiful and delicious, we visited the hotel restaurant next door to Lamai bay view resort, there is a small restaurant overlooking the lagoon, only 5 tables, we liked the food. We did not go on excursions, because despite the use of creams with a protection factor of 50, we were badly burned. Creams are better to take with you and more, on the island the prices for them go through the roof. By the way, next to the hotel there is a pharmacy, a small supermarket and a fruit shop. There are no exchange offices nearby, the rate is low in the hotel, keep in mind. When leaving the hotel, again ice cream, ice water with me, I really liked it, but the second time I would not go here.
