Good afternoon everyone! Rested with children from 27.10. 2012 to 07.11. 2012 Bought from Anekstura Ambassador Inn Wing 3*, room type - IT NEW. We hoped that they would settle in the room after the renovation. What was offered "exceeded my worst expectations"! We were in Thailand for the 6th time, we took inexpensive hotels, but the rooms were normal, modest, but spacious, clean, in general, you could stay in them.
The Ambassador was offered a room on the 2nd floor (716), in the main building, 1st, as you come in, where the reception is. There is darkness in the building, a persistent smell of mold, which is everywhere on the ceilings, in front of the entrances to the rooms. The room is very small, the furniture is all shabby, the TV - in the 70s they were like that, the tulle on the window - was never washed, the linen was dirty gray. The impression is depressing. In general, I'm not picky, and I'm ready to turn a blind eye to many things. But in this case - even if you close your eyes, the persistent smell of mold hits your nose! When asked at the reception, where is the OLD building then, it was said that it was under repair.
Indeed, the next building was being repaired. Noise, smell of paint - all day. Asked to see if there are other rooms. They gave me the key to building C (numbers start at 9), type IW. This is the third building from the reception, indeed, completely renovated, white, light, does not smell of mold. Room - 24 sq. m. large and spacious. Surcharge per room per night - 350 baht. In total, for 11 days we paid 3.850 baht extra. Since neither the guide nor the Anex tour itself, as usual, could do anything to help. I wrote a claim to Anekstur, giving the guide Alena. I doubt at all that this claim went further than Alena. In a review, some man wrote that the surcharge for the OCEAN building, which is located on the territory of this hotel with sea views, is 6.000. 00 baht. This is incorrect information. The surcharge is 2.150. 00 baht per day.

In general, we had a good rest. The territory is very large, beautiful, the sea is normal.
If you leave the hotel, without crossing the road, immediately turn left and walk to the bridge about 100 meters, then there is a Tesco Lotus supermarket, only a small one, a pharmacy, and a cafe is adjacent to the supermarket, you can eat tasty and inexpensive food in it, in other cafes - much more expensive .

Have a nice holiday everyone!
