It was my first time in Thailand with my husband. We heard a lot of different reviews from friends and decided to still taste the exotic. We decided to approach the search for a hotel thoroughly. We were looking for an inexpensive cozy hotel and stopped our choice at JOMTIEN GARDEN HOTEL & RESORT 3 *. I was attracted by the price of the tour operator Sanmar. We booked directly on the site through a convenient online booking system - we did it very easily and simply. We have been working with this company not for the first time, and once again we were pleased with good prices for holidays combined with quality service. Let me just say that the hotel did not disappoint. It justifies its 3 stars, and in general we were satisfied. The hotel has a convenient location. Near shopping, all kinds of restaurants and cafes, the center can be reached by tuk-tuk in 15-20 minutes. The rooms, although quite modest, are clean and comfortable. It appears to have been recently renovated. We did not smell the expected smell of dampness. Cleaned regularly and clean. In general, I would like to note that the staff at the hotel is very friendly and welcoming. . Pleasantly pleased with the contingent of vacationers in this hotel - a minimum of Russians, mostly Europeans, Americans, Chinese. But unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing. We are fussy about food. The choice of food is very modest, sausages and scrambled eggs are cold. However, this did not become a problem for us - there are many establishments around where you can eat tasty and inexpensively during the day. The beach is not far from the hotel, 50 meters. Its plus is cleanliness. We heard from other tourists that the water in the center is dirty because of the port. The hotel's swimming pool deserves special praise. It's big and clean. It is nice to relax near it after the noise on the beach, and there are usually not many people there. I can recommend this hotel to both young people and families with children (there is even a playground on site).
