My husband and son went to Thailand at the beginning of November 2010. This is our 2nd trip to Thailand, the first time we were in Phuket, this time we decided to try Pattaya. Despite the fact that the net says a lot about the dirty sea, crowds of tourists and debauchery, I believe that everyone sees what they set themselves up for. I enjoyed the trip from start to finish. Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel is well located, especially for families with children, not far from the center, across the road from the sea and at the same time in a quiet part of the coast. For those who want to spend a lot of time in the center and on Walkin street, I would not recommend it, although tuk-tuks run past the hotel for 10-15 minutes, and on the way back you generally need to negotiate to be taken at least 100 baht. The hotel itself was probably a solid four when it was just built, now the furniture is a little worn out. The breakfasts are very good and varied. There are 2 Pools, both for 5+. Gym and second pool on the 3rd floor of the second building. Everything worked. Cleaning is good, everything was changed every day, up to toothbrushes and pastes. There is a hair dryer, which is not unimportant. Wi-Fi is paid, but fortunately, Wi-Fi from the neighboring Eurostar Hotel was not jammed, so in the evenings you could sit with a laptop.
One, big, minus for me - there was nowhere to dry clothes, no balcony, no dryer, I had to hang bathing accessories on furniture, in connection with this, it apparently had worn out over the years of the hotel's existence.
My husband and son liked the hotel, they didn’t notice the little things, and we didn’t stay at the hotel much, there are really so many entertainments in Pattaya that it will last for a long time. We wish you a good rest.
