Hotel ratings by criteria:
Traveled with a young man. From the very beginning, we counted on the fact that we would not sit in the room, but would go on excursions and walk.
1. Accommodation.
Drive from the airport for at least three hours, upon arrival they immediately populate, without delay.
The rooms are not very big, but there is enough space, clean, relatively new furniture, everything works, the bathroom is in good condition.
2. Nutrition - none.
There were breakfasts. Everything for breakfast is almost impossible to eat... only vegetables and toast with jam, everything else is worse than in Soviet canteens, but we knew this and were not even upset.
The plus is that you can buy food on the street, bring it to the hotel and eat on the terrace below, they give forks, knives, etc.
3. Service.
This is a separate issue.
The hotel staff are not all friendly and sometimes you get the impression that they are already smiling at you with great force... Especially the boys who work in the evening

In general, the hotel is good. It's ok for an overnight stay. .
In Thailand, there is such a thing that a Thai is always right... and it doesn’t matter that you are actually right... the main thing here is to quietly and for a long time prove your case, we have come across this many times during our holidays.
4. Sea
It’s easy to find the sea: if you leave the hotel, turn left and reach the main street and go down, then there will be stairs down to the sea (very steep, when you go back, it’s very hard) The beach is very original, scary Thai women are doing massage right on the beach very cheap, but people walk by and it's all on some kind of bags... in a word, if you really press it, then try it, otherwise it's a little more expensive in any other salon with air conditioning and normal conditions. The sea itself is very dark, like our black one in Sochi... nothing at all impressive, except that boats drive right up to the shore and it doesn’t matter if someone swims there or not....be careful and don’t let children swim there... There are a couple of cafes on the beach, but we didn’t eat there, only shrimp and beer.
In general, we were on this beach 3 times during the entire vacation, maybe it’s not about anything at all.
5. Islands
It is not so easy to get to the islands from this area.
Tuk-tuks do not go here at all, only taxis or moto taxis, we went on the latter.
Everyone says that it is dangerous to ride bikes, but it is generally dangerous for them to ride there, the rules are not for them. There are two places where motorcycle taxis usually stand, one if you go upstairs when leaving the hotel, the other down. You get to the beginning of Volkin Street and there is just a pier, from there all sorts of different boats go to the islands. The islands are great, but there are a lot of people...
6. Excursions

To be honest, we were going to buy excursions on the street. But at the first meeting with our guide, he said that the prices for excursions were greatly reduced. Apparently, the crisis has affected everyone. We decided to compare with the prices on the street. It turned out that the tour operator's programs became cheaper. Accordingly, we decided to purchase excursions from our hotel guide at the hotel. His name is Magdi. A very pleasant young man. He helped us in every way. Special thanks to him for a great vacation. We took excursions to the boat trip "Euphoria" - the best!! ! Then we went to the "flight of the gibbon" - super !! ! To the new water park in Pattaya - it was amazing. There, all the slides are not standard, and the most important program, without which it is impossible to leave Pattaya, is the Kwai River for 1 day. We liked it too. If we come to Thailand again, we will definitely go to Kwai again, but we will already take a program for two days in order to fully taste the whole flavor.
7. Food
The food is varied, you can find whatever your heart desires, we tried everywhere and everything (especially those places where the Thais themselves eat), if it’s straight about street food - kebabs, they are sooooo tasty, I miss them very much, pancakes, fresh juices (fresh juices are delicious like nowhere else , if you still buy the most ordinary yogurt in the store and ask him to add it to fresh....then you will never forget this taste), ice cream, cockroaches, insects, and so on. BUT there is one golden rule that my dad told me about))) - “eat, but drink down, disinfect” we always washed down all street food with local rum, disinfected, so to speak))) Hung Tong is good !!!! ! Disinfection helped =)))), during the rest they never got poisoned. In the cafes themselves, everything is also very diverse, mainly seafood, try everything. I really liked the cafe on Volkin Street, opposite the Lucifer club, there is still a strange uncle showing tricks all the time, don’t look that she doesn’t look very good, they make delicious food. There is also a very good place near the hotel itself, it is called something like “new Shanghai”, it is kept by a charming Chinese with knowledge of the Russian language, everything is also delicious and inexpensive. In general, during the rest we went around a lot of cafes, mainly on Volkin, but we didn’t find something resembling a restaurant, they still don’t live up to that, but that’s the whole charm of Tai)))
I will definitely return to Thailand, but not to Pattaya. I realized that Thailand itself is beautiful, I want to see its other secluded places.
