We came to Pattaya for the third time, to this hotel for the first time. The first time was in 2008. Unfortunately, the attitude of the Thais to the guests has not changed for the better. This manifested itself immediately at the reception - no smiles and no desire to help in anything. Only one desire was read on the faces - would you go... somewhere. Obviously, they have ceased to be afraid of the deterioration of karma. Since we didn’t have time to buy a SIM card yet, we decided to find out the wifi code of the hotel, which cost us 100!! ! baht per day. With difficulty, they made one connection, it took badly in the room, they reported to their relatives about the arrival, but we did not manage to call again. . . The territory of the hotel is small, clean, at least greenery. In general, it is far from fashionable. As part of the improvement, there are two small pools, for "entertainment" - a gym with practically no exercise equipment. Advantage - close location to the sea. On the street leading to the sea, except for the residents of our hotel, almost no one walked. There was a feeling of life on the outskirts. And to get to the places where life boils, you had to take a taxi (be sure to bargain, otherwise they will shake you out of your pants for a vacation), or 1.5 km at room 11... The room was on the 1st floor of a 2-storey building with access to the pool. Ordinary, normal, even with a beautiful exit. But …. The cleaning of the room and the bathroom was carried out only in the aisles, and other people's long hair remained lying under the washbasin and in other places. The once white curtains were stained with black and, apparently, had not been washed for three years. There was MOLD on the low table under the glass. - Wiped themselves. In the bathroom, water was dripping from the ceiling above the toilet, but after our complaint, there was no reaction from the hotel administration... Three times in the bathroom, I “deactivated” three-centimeter cockroaches... The menu in the eatery was not very diverse, and in general... not very. After all, Thais cook for Europeans, and besides scrambled eggs - croissants - jam and coffee... For a trip to the Kwai River, breakfast was ordered to go and we got it: a tiny croissant, an apple and a bag of juice!! ! Although I am not a particularly pretentious person, but... People from other hotels had boiled eggs and slices of ham in dry rations... Among other pleasures in the hotel, in cafes, in general, everywhere, there was a huge number of Chinese citizens who not only, to put it mildly noisy, but also very "democratic". You sit at a table, a Chinese woman comes up and, without any ceremony there, takes a pack of napkins from under her nose... This time the trip to Pattaya, to put it mildly, I liked less.
