Hello to everyone who is going to visit this hotel and this country. We rested as a family with a 3-year-old child from 09/27/12 to 12/09/12. We were abroad for the first time, there is nothing to compare with, we liked everything, until now my husband and I dream of Thailand every night.
This year, the rainy season started early, so we had rain every night, and sometimes during the day, but this did not interfere with our rest. On the contrary, we were pleased that at least at night we could open the balcony and sleep without air conditioning, because. before the trip, the child fell ill with bronchitis, we tried to use the air conditioner less. In addition, the air conditioner is noisy at night. It’s hard for anyone who has a light sleep to fall asleep. They settled us very quickly, the porter helped bring the bags to the room, and frankly asked for a tip, they didn’t give a hundred rubles for small ones, of course it’s a lot (they take any money). There are no complaints about the hotel, everything was fine. The hotel is very cozy, there are not many people, there are two pools, there is enough space for everyone, there are compartments for children in both pools. there is absolutely nothing for children in the area. By the way, not far from the hotel on the right side there is a cafe and a hotel (I don’t remember the name) where we found a playground with swings, a slide and a carousel, we went there almost every day, you can get there on foot.
Our room was standard, on the 4th floor 2224, the view from the window to the household. yard, we didn’t spend time on the balcony. The room was double, and there were three of us, they asked for a pillow on millet rice, they said that it would cost 50 baht per day. The room had bath accessories, a bar. Room cleaning every day, not very good, some tourists left tips, did not help. But I personally did not care, towels were changed every day, towels were gray, but clean, the furniture in the room was old, but not falling apart. I don’t feel like dwelling on such trifles at all (it just might be important for someone), because we didn’t come to look at furniture, but at the country, animals, plants, sea, sand, enjoy the sun, good weather, and this is enough in Thailand.

Of course, it’s hard with a small child in Thailand, we didn’t go on excursions that we would like to (River Kwai, Bangkok), but we were in the Nong Nooch garden, the Zoo, the Oceanarium, the child and we are delighted. We didn’t ride elephants, In the garden, the cost per person is 800 baht, on the river Kwai 50 baht, or even free.
Be sure to visit some island, we were on Koh Samet (by car 1.5 hours plus by boat about 20 minutes) We took a ticket to Oleg-Tour on the street, there are no complaints, everything is very well organized, very pleasant Russian-speaking guides. I don’t know it seems you can talk about the trip endlessly, and it's all impossible to put into words, you just need to go and see. Good luck to everyone who is going to fly! I hope the photos somehow convey the atmosphere of this benevolent country.
