Comfortable hotel in a small cozy area. along Jomtien Beach, surrounded by a tropical garden. It is easy to get to the center of Pattaya - songteo minibuses stop nearby. The hotel was opened in 1986, renovated in 2017 (only in the rooms). Consists of 3 buildings: 8-storey building C (3 elevators), 3-storey building A (no elevator) and 4-storey building B (1 elevator). A deposit is required upon check-in. The hotel is suitable for a relaxing beach holiday, all categories of tourists.More →

For the next holiday in Pattaya, we chose the Sea Breeze hotel. The reviews are conflicting, but after monitoring the ratings and the cost, we decided that this is a good option for a triple and the location is good. The hand trembled, and we bought a tour. And honestly, the hotel left a pleasant impression, despite the shortcomings.
The first minus is a deposit of 1000 baht upon check-in, and it must be left exactly in baht. Well, if you arrive between 10 and 10, there will be an opportunity to go to the exchange office, it is not far from the hotel. But, if the settlement is expected at another time, it is better to change money (50 or 100 bucks) at the airport (although the exchange rate is not profitable).
Plus, on account of the deposit, you can order drinks and food at the hotel bar, that is, you don’t have to think about where I will put 1000 baht on the day of departure. There is duty free at Bangkok airport (you can buy something).
Check-in: many formalities were not required, the paperwork was filled out quickly, we received a receipt for the deposit, the room was already ready (we arrived at 15:00). 1 key and coupons for breakfast are issued. The room, if memory serves 2225, is located on the second floor of building B. In the hotel: the main building (where the reception and the breakfast restaurant are located), as well as buildings A and B. B - standards. There are three floors in building B. There is an elevator.
The room is spacious. What I liked: a clean shower room, fresh cosmetic repairs and clean tiles, no hint of mold, there are such unscrupulous hotels in Thailand, alas. The water must first be drained so that it is warm. Which way is hot, which is cold is not indicated, but five minutes of training and you're done.
It’s bad that only 1 large towel is allocated for each, there are no face towels (but, if it’s important, you can buy it here later, I don’t see the point in taking it). Bath accessories, as elsewhere in threes. Everything seems to be fine, but then, we found that it was leaking under the sink (it wasn’t leaking much, so we decided to just substitute a garbage bin with a plastic bag there). In the hope that the maid would notice and call the plumber, honestly, we just didn’t want to bother about it.
The room has a large balcony, but there is no clothes dryer, no chairs on the balcony, and... the floors are not washed there, so your heels will instantly turn gray. There is no ashtray on the balcony, a view of the neighboring thickets - on the one hand, it’s good, there are no prying eyes, on the other hand, don’t leave the balcony door open, let in mosquitoes. You will have a sea view if you book a delax in the main building. The air conditioner on the balcony is noisy and old.
The cleanliness of the room (namely the room, because there are no questions about the bathroom) is three, the floors are not very clean, a cobweb hung behind the TV. What I liked was that the beach towels were in the room (no need to go after them, write them down), took it and went.
Towels are clean, beach towels are satisfactory, slightly washed (dirty orange). The room has free water and a paid bar (chips, nuts), we did not touch anything.
Internet - only at the reception, in the room does not catch, it's bad. You don’t always want to go to another building, the mobile Thai Internet can solve the problem. The hotel has Russian channels, though there was not much time to watch and desire too).
Audibility in the room - there is such a thing, the walls are thin, you'll be lucky if the neighbors are calm. Moreover, the connection number was. You can hear from behind the door and how they walk along the corridor and the music from the pool bar, sometimes it was turned on very loudly.
Safe - it is not in the room, you have to go to the reception, documents and money were left at the reception. The camera and the tablet were kept in a suitcase with a combination lock, because, alas, I read that the maids can clean up everything that is badly in their hands.
There is no hair dryer in the room, you can take your own, it's more convenient than taking every time at the reception. Also, a thermos is given at the reception, there is hot water in the boiler. Breakfasts are very good, pastries, hot, cutting vegetables, rice, eggs, sausages, tea, coffee. As an everywhere. They never left hungry, they ate for hours until 4 in the afternoon. Fine for taking food out of the restaurant (500 baht), warning label.
The room has a "living area", that is, two armchairs and a table. So you can eat in your room. Often they took food at the night market, ate either right at the market at the tables or went to the beach, when they were very tired, they took it to the room. Just take out all the food waste immediately, otherwise you will attract ants! Alcohol was bought in Seven stores (rest - you can relax a little). Basically - rum and beer, there are carbonated wine drinks, cocktails. There is truth and vodka, whiskey, wine - but a little expensive. There are many cafes along the embankment, they are more expensive than in the market, but the service and presentation are different.
The hotel has a cafe, not cheap. Average bill 500 baht without alcohol. Although the service is good, the portions are large. There is also ice cream, drinks, pizza. There are happy hours: two drinks for the price of one.
The bar is located near the pool, all in the hotel there are two pools. Both are good. Surrounded by greenery, there are swings, sunbeds around. You can’t go to the pool with your own food and drinks, but you can go to the hotel room, so the real food begins around. Then they would have forbidden to eat at the pool at all.
There are many Russians in the hotel, fewer Asians. Met, sorry for my French, "tagil" - the Thais walked and looked askance at them, the Russians made a drinking bout in the gazebo by the small pool. It is clear why they do not smile at us now, we behave like a herd.
The hotel has a massage parlor, there is a queue right there, but to be honest, massage is not much different from other salons, the same thing. I didn't get into it. Unless you have nowhere to go.
Some write that the staff is rude, nothing like that, we did not meet any negativity. The girls at the front desk are amazing. You are not in Rixos or Sheraton, so that you bow at your feet, you come to the budget three, they will not lick you here.
In general, the atmosphere in the hotel is conducive to relaxation. Jomtien area is good. I liked the long beach, many shops, the movement is calmer than in the center. The beach is average, household garbage is found. The sea is across the road from the hotel. Sunbeds are paid, you can sit on your own towels or bedding. Swimming areas are fenced with buoys, as there are many motor boats and scooters. The sea is cleaner on the islands. And the outer islands are a paradise.
We went to the island of Koh Chang, were on Samet and rode a lot on other excursions.
I advise you not to sit in Pattaya, but to drive, drive and drive, the only way to understand Thailand as a whole, Pattaya is very different from other cities and the city sea, and the landscapes cannot be compared with the atmosphere of the island. For 10 days, we visited 6 excursions, two of which took two days. It was an unforgettable experience. We returned to the hotel tired, without hind legs, but there were a lot of emotions and impressions.

A little far from the center, but for a family with a child it's not scary. On the second visit to the hotels, renovations were underway in the old building, so the rooms were updated. They cleaned normally, and if there was a tip, pleasant additional compliments from the hotel appeared. The territory is closed from prying eyes, very cozy. Two pools, wonderful girls in the massage parlor on site. In general, we all liked it!! !

Secondly, the hotel is clean, quiet, located in a convenient location, the staff is well-trained. If someone plans only to spend the night in a hotel, and eat everything else in other places, then the best option can hardly be found. Thirdly, the food is good. They check into the rooms quickly, we arrived early in the morning and they didn’t torment us at the reception, they quickly gave out the keys and placed us. Rooms are spacious, clean, beds are large. Housekeeping is a solid 4, if you don’t blame it, it will be a solid 5. As I said, the food is delicious, everything is in abundance, I was even worried that I would get better. Our hotel guide, an employee of the Anex tour, is a pleasant woman, we took several excursions from her. Wi-Fi in the hotel is paid 50 baht per hour, and for one device. I liked the hotel, I recommend it to tourists from Russia with pleasure.

My husband and I went on a honeymoon, the area is calm, quiet, the sea is across the road, the exchange office is profitable, immediately to the left, when you exit onto the road, the food is very tasty, varied, the bar has excellent drinks, comfortable rooms, everything is convenient, many write that the disadvantage is - the lack of clothes dryers, but we believe that they are not needed there - I hung it on the balcony on the railing, and everything dried up quickly)) They are not cleaned very well, we had to ask for toilet paper ourselves. … More ▾ My husband and I went on a honeymoon, the area is calm, quiet, the sea is across the road, the exchange office is profitable, immediately to the left, when you exit onto the road, the food is very tasty, varied, the bar has excellent drinks, comfortable rooms, everything is convenient, many write that the disadvantage is - the lack of clothes dryers, but we believe that they are not needed there - I hung it on the balcony on the railing, and everything dried up quickly)) They are not cleaned very well, we had to ask for toilet paper ourselves. . . We had a wedding in Pattaya, and the organizers left us a marriage certificate at the reception, because we were at the sea at that time, so they didn’t want to give it away, they said that no one left anything, we had to connect the wedding organizers with the administrators at at the reception, it didn’t help, until, together with the organizers of the wedding, they found a secret translator, she made sure that they turned over all their drawers and tables, they found it, thank God, they gave it away))) They wanted to see the money. . . And the main question: When you check in, you pay a deposit: in the amount of a thousand baht or fifty dollars, so they didn’t return them to us, before departure, in the evening, they came from an excursion, there are no towels, only one thing, we thought we took it specially, like we’re leaving in the morning, one is enough, in the morning we come to the reception, they present for towels.... I was shocked!! ! The hotel guide from Pegas-Touristik, could not solve the issue at all (((Then they said that there was not enough water, although we always bought our own... in general, they work like pigs... they suck money stupidly ((( So -that if you go there, it's better when you check out, check the towels, go figure it out if they're not there, and take all the contents of their refrigerator from the room to the reception!! ! They have a good pool, by the way. . . That's how they ruined the mood in the end , although we had a better opinion about them, before this incident, we even scored for poor cleaning.... We won’t go there again.....And we don’t advise.

There was no such nightmare even in provincial Egypt.
On the third day of our stay, after cleaning, beach towels disappeared from the room along with the bag in which they lay (the bag was provided by the hotel).
We began to understand, we were accused of stealing towels.
The bottom line is, it seems like they agreed with the managers, they gave the towels for temporary use.
The next day, the same story happened with bath towels (they were really of terrible quality, so it’s not a pity).
With the wording - since you steal those, we will not give you these.
We fought, fought, looked at the cameras, that we didn’t even go with a hotel bag... It seems that the towels were returned. But they didn't apologize.
The next day we arrive - the bed is made, the trash cans are not taken out, but one is rummaged. I remember exactly how everything was there, because. she herself packed there things that she planned to throw away on vacation.
I lift the top layer, and there is a hotel bag... The second one... Suddenly ended up in the trash. Magic.
But when we left there was that epic - we were accused of breaking a glass - then the manager was shown that he served as a vase for a bouquet of roses...
Then we ate everything from the mini-bar - and we didn’t touch it at all - in the end: a cloud of nerves spent on disassembly, the angst of the staff... And no apologies, except for a deposit carelessly thrown in the face.
The food is quite tolerable, but if you want peace, look for another hotel!

Everyone said that the beach is dirty, the sea in Pattaya is dirty, you need to go swimming to the islands. Bullshit, in our native Ob we swim in even worse conditions, but the Ob is also cold. And on the island of Koh Lan, exactly the same beach and water as in Pattaya, only the sand is white, and the water is clear, and the garbage floats like in Pattaya. Excursions were bought in Coconut, not far from the hotel. Respect to them, he was a very good guide, the program was rich and interesting. We also took two excursions from our tour operator Biblio Globus. It was also not bad, but more expensive than in Cocos.

We rested as a family with a 3-year-old child from 09/27/12 to 12/09/12. We were abroad for the first time, there is nothing to compare with, we liked everything, until now my husband and I dream of Thailand every night.
This year, the rainy season started early, so we had rain every night, and sometimes during the day, but this did not interfere with our rest. On the contrary, we were pleased that at least at night we could open the balcony and sleep without air conditioning, because. before the trip, the child fell ill with bronchitis, we tried to use the air conditioner less. In addition, the air conditioner is noisy at night. It’s hard for anyone who has a light sleep to fall asleep. They settled us very quickly, the porter helped bring the bags to the room, and frankly asked for a tip, they didn’t give a hundred rubles for small ones, of course it’s a lot (they take any money). There are no complaints about the hotel, everything was fine. The hotel is very cozy, there are not many people, there are two pools, there is enough space for everyone, there are compartments for children in both pools. there is absolutely nothing for children in the area. By the way, not far from the hotel on the right side there is a cafe and a hotel (I don’t remember the name) where we found a playground with swings, a slide and a carousel, we went there almost every day, you can get there on foot.
Our room was standard, on the 4th floor 2224, the view from the window to the household. yard, we didn’t spend time on the balcony. The room was double, and there were three of us, they asked for a pillow on millet rice, they said that it would cost 50 baht per day. The room had bath accessories, a bar. Room cleaning every day, not very good, some tourists left tips, did not help. But I personally did not care, towels were changed every day, towels were gray, but clean, the furniture in the room was old, but not falling apart. I don’t feel like dwelling on such trifles at all (it just might be important for someone), because we didn’t come to look at furniture, but at the country, animals, plants, sea, sand, enjoy the sun, good weather, and this is enough in Thailand.
Of course, it’s hard with a small child in Thailand, we didn’t go on excursions that we would like to (River Kwai, Bangkok), but we were in the Nong Nooch garden, the Zoo, the Oceanarium, the child and we are delighted. We didn’t ride elephants, In the garden, the cost per person is 800 baht, on the river Kwai 50 baht, or even free.
Be sure to visit some island, we were on Koh Samet (by car 1.5 hours plus by boat about 20 minutes) We took a ticket to Oleg-Tour on the street, there are no complaints, everything is very well organized, very pleasant Russian-speaking guides. I don’t know it seems you can talk about the trip endlessly, and it's all impossible to put into words, you just need to go and see. Good luck to everyone who is going to fly! I hope the photos somehow convey the atmosphere of this benevolent country.

Please explain, experienced tourists, is it true that when traveling in Pattaya by tuk tuk, drivers do not give change and you need to have small bills with you? For example, from 100 or 50 baht, will they really not give change when traveling for 20 baht?

How is the weather there in September? As I understand it, judging by the reviews it rains there at this time. I would very much like to go to the islands (I have never been to the sea). The Kwai River has already been decided, but I can’t decide on the rest.
