The hotel is a good real five, polite, helpful staff. It is located on the beach, but the sea in all of Pattaya is disgusting (we still lived in Hard Rock), the entrance to the sea is bad, but we were in the low tide season, maybe better in winter. The hotel is small, there are few people, the hotel is full of relaxation, sleep and boring things. Massage, food, parties - all in the center of Pattaya (by tuk-tuk 5-7 minutes).
If you need the sea, go to the islands (were on Koh Chang - really a Bounty), if you need a party, I recommend Hard Rock, if for some reason you need Pattaya, and at the same time you love chic loneliness, or your status does not allow you to live in 4*, then Sheraton is for you. Good luck!
