INCOMPLETE REST… Thailand - Phuket - Ansino Bukit Hotel

Of course, our rest primarily depends on ourselves. And with this, paradoxically, I consoled myself by purchasing a tour for two to Thailand on about. Phuket to Ansino Bukit Hotel. I wanted to (to visit a new country) in Tai, everything else was taken out of desperation - there was no choice of a resort, hotel and tour operator, as well as time to search (a sudden vacation and only 2 weeks).

So, the tour operator Anix tour is once again convinced that this is the most disgusting tour operator. This time I reassured myself, they say, just let them take me, they will bring me, nothing more is needed from this Anus tour ...But no, it’s not so simple, we ended up on overbooking. Initially, we were accommodated for 2 days in another hotel - Brother. Also not bad, however, and closer to the sea. Then the guide Jamil informed us that we were staying in Brother.

4 days have passed, and here we are on an excursion, Jamil calls: “You are moving to Ansino Bukit, let's pack your things, come back, everything will be ready. ” Obvious disrespect, digging into our underwear, documents ...of course, we refused, asked to wait for our arrival. But when we arrived from the tour, our things were haphazardly dumped into packages and expelled from the rooms. Moreover, from the call to our arrival, 3-4 hours passed, and already the refrigerators in the rooms were thawed, and they cleaned up ...We concluded that Jamil called after they had collected everything.
Yes, and more. The flight was postponed twice, we had to fly out of Samara on January 22 at 22:30, as a result, we flew out on January 23 at 14:00, the tour was paid from January 23, and we arrived in Tai at 4 am on January 24.
They flew back with refueling! In Novosibirsk, instead of 9 hours, the journey took 12 hours.
Conclusion - DISGUSTING tour operator Anix Tour, no wonder he was nicknamed Anus Tour.

Ansino Bukit Hotel.
Normal, corresponds to its 3 stars, in terms of repair - fresh. The staff does not speak Russian, but is very friendly, the cleaning is so-so, but we did not pay attention to this, we only came to the room to sleep and change clothes. Hearing is excellent. Cleaning on the floor began from our room, it was inconvenient, a couple of times we were in the room, and the maids had already moved on, but without any problems - I approached them, said that such and such a room needs to be cleaned, exchanged smiles and - the room is clean. Tipping was left every other day at 20-30 baht.
We lived in the 510th room, respectively, 5th floor. The water was hot, sometimes, however, it was necessary to wait a few minutes, but it's not scary. The "even" rooms have a balcony with 2 chairs and a table, a view of the hotel opposite (across the road). In the "odd" rooms there is no balcony, but they are larger, there is an additional sofa and a table, but you can't open the window - there is another hotel at arm's length.
Cons of the room: there are no shelves at all, there was simply nowhere to put clothes. The bathroom is small, the shower is not fenced off from the toilet, the floors are constantly wet, a towel was laid outside the door. It's strange, but only shampoo and body gel were put here, and how to wash your hands?
Pluses of the room: the air conditioner is located above the front door, that is, it doesn’t blow on you when you lie on the bed, it’s very convenient, you won’t catch a cold. At night we set +26-28 degrees.
reception

Sofas, tables. By the way, apparently, fans are more loved in Tae, because they are everywhere, the doors are wide open and, like, the wind is walking. Air conditioning only in rooms.
There is also a table where you can pour tea and coffee at any time of the day, there are three PCs nearby, the Internet is free, but slow. A little further away - a place for breakfast, even further - a small but cozy pool, open until 10 pm.
Breakfast
In Brothers it was more varied, but not bad here either.
Rice with vegetables, toasters, butter, jam, tea-coffee-milk, cereal, stewed vegetables with chicken, fried bacon, fresh vegetables - cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, fried eggs, some kind of soup. Once they gave me potatoes with sausages. For dessert, fruit - pineapple, sometimes watermelon and melon (unsweetened).

Thailand
In general - not impressed. There are too many Russians, excursions are hackneyed places, the nature is beautiful, but in many ways soiled by man. The first excursion was to the Phi Phi Islands, advertised as the place where the film "The Beach" with DiCaprio was filmed. There are more people than places on the island, the platform from which the actor dived is 2x2 meters, nafik we generally went there. The lagoon is beautiful, turquoise water, white sand, but you can't even take a picture. Initially, they wanted to visit all the islands (both Similan and James Bond), but this excursion discouraged all hunting.
The second excursion was to the Khao Lak nature reserve, not too exotic, but intense, so I liked it more, + the guide is interesting, Thai Jasmine, speaks Russian well, told us about the country, customs - in general, we were lucky with her. We rode elephants, liked rafting on bamboo rafts. We had an elephant Keo, he let us a fountain and posed, the driver was excellent, he photographed us, talked, liked us very much, left a 100 baht tip.

Phuket itself. I was somewhat ready for the dirt on the streets, but to see huge, finger-sized cockroaches every day is beyond my strength. Moreover, in Phuket (I don’t presume to say that in all of Tai), the garbage bags placed right on the sidewalks are in the order of things, here, along the fences and near the poles, there are scraps of food. And smells are something. Stink. However, this does not bother the locals. As they are not embarrassed by the stinky rivers through which you have to walk to the beach (we went from Brazer).
These are rivers into which all waste is merged, by the way, a little further they flow into the sea ...

Beaches
Our hotel was on Patong Beach. A very dirty beach, similar to the Black Sea, beautiful photos with waves will not work, because the waves are of a dirty sand color. The beach is municipal, long, sun loungers are in 3 rows, there is not a single toilet, of course, everyone goes to the toilet in the water, horror. Sun lounger rental for 1 person costs 100 baht (umbrella shade included). There was an unpleasant incident at the end of the race. We came to the beach in 2 couples, the girls decided to sunbathe in the evening sun, that is, you need 2 sun loungers (they came for 2 hours literally). The one who handed over sun loungers began to insist that they take 4 sun loungers, then began to expel. Out of principle, we went to other sun loungers (they are divided by color, each color type has its own caretaker). Then a generally nervous Thai came running, he was shaking and began to yell “Go, go! "We didn't have time to say a word. It turned out that he was handed over on the radio.
We basically went to the sand to the sea, bedded towels. He yelled for another 15 minutes, showed a fake in our direction, indecent gestures, for which, sorry, they turn off his head ...so he drove a few more tourists onto the sand, then finally shut up. It was very unpleasant.

Thais.
In general, they liked it very much. Friendly, smiling people, when selling goods, do not stick like Arabs or Turks, it is pleasant to deal with them. And in general it was interesting to talk. 99% do not know the Russian language at all, some have learned separate phrases: “Come on, come on, pour it up”, “There is no market”, “Fuck it” (if the price does not suit you), “Russo tourist”, “Come in, have a look”. Only positive impression.

eat

I must say right away that I made one of the main discoveries in Tai for myself: seafood is not for me. Well, there are standard squids, fish - still all right, but without hostility, for example, I could not look at octopuses and other garbage, well, I tried it, I didn’t like it.
Somewhere on the 4th day, we began to look for meat in cafes. Again, the general taste for everyone is sweetness + spiciness ...You can eat in different ways - for 1500 for two, and for 350-400 baht. Russian restaurants are expensive and the portions are small.
I really liked local fresh juices (50-80 baht), especially banana and mango. I flew to Tai - I dreamed of trying a coconut (coconut), but I didn’t like it very much. And so I still really like fruits, local people bought in the market and ate.
Yes, there is no bread in the cafe, but toast is sold in stores. I advise everyone to try the food at makashnikov, very good. They took fried catfish for 50 baht apiece, fat, tasty - delicious. I also liked the dessert - a banana fried in a thin layer of dough, poured over with chocolate and condensed milk.
Alcohol. The men tried all the local liquor there - whiskey, rum, something else ...I don’t drink such strong drinks, I can’t judge, but the prices are reasonable. She drank mostly beer and duty-free martinis.
The general conclusion is not exotic. Plus - from winter to summer (from -30 to +35). I probably won't go again.
