Hello everybody! I want to share my impressions about the rest at the Baan Krating hotel. We decided to leave the winter for the summer and, for one thing, celebrate the New Year there. We went with friends in three couples (my child and I are 4.5 years old). The flight there and back went well, we were fed twice. The child flew there at night and slept for 6 hours, the rest of the time he played on the Ipad. They write that it takes 40 minutes by car from the airport to the hotel, but for some reason we drove for an hour and a half.
We arrived at the hotel, they met us, handed out the keys to the rooms, food cards and local SIM cards (not everyone was able to insert them into their phone).
We went into the room, a small lizard was crawling along the wall, which immediately hid in the air conditioner. Everything in the room is there: a shower, a toilet, two washbasins, a wardrobe (there are two umbrellas and hangers in the closet), a safe, a refrigerator, a large fan in the ceiling, a TV (we found the channel Russia! ))). The bed is very huge, 4 people can sleep peacefully + we also got an extra bed for a child (we took a superior room with a sea view).

We arrived on the 31st in the afternoon, and in the evening we went to the "New Year's Eve Gala Dinner". We go into a restaurant (if you can call it that), and there, as in a nursing home: everyone sits and eats, some kind of boring thing plays, then a prize draw starts from the stage (a bottle of an incomprehensible drink with "E" -shki such as strawberry soda). In short, the matter did not come to the New Year: we were told that the holiday was over, everyone was clearing the table, and if you want, you can dance with us! And they arranged a holiday for themselves, with their music and staff! We were just shocked! We took some drinks with us and went to celebrate the New Year in the room with our friends.
At night, I personally slept badly, woke up all the time from stuffiness, turned on the air conditioner, turned it off after 5 minutes and fell asleep again. The air conditioner is sooo noisy and even on the smallest setting it blows hard, you can get sick. The doors in the room are double: first glass, and then made of mesh (both of them are lockable from the inside). On the third night we decided to turn on the fan, opened the glass doors to breathe sea air through the mesh doors. But again I did not sleep well, because there was a strong noise from the sea and with the wind from the leaves of the trees (and the leaves there are huge). And then, the realization that someone could come, calmly cut this grid and freely come to us, inspired me with terrible fear, because no one was guarding anything there. I tormented, tormented . . I closed the glass doors and again turned on the air conditioner from time to time. Maybe it's just me, my husband and child slept in the cut))).
In the morning we went for breakfast. Breakfast is completely identical. Apparently, what remains from dinner is smoothly transferred to the morning. There are no yogurts or cheeses. The only thing I ate for breakfast was buns with various jams and coffee. The bacon is fried to the state of a terrible indecipherable crust, the attitude of the staff at breakfast is so slow and indifferent that I waited 40 minutes (!!! ) for coffee. Moreover, they themselves volunteered to bring it to me twice (! ). The next morning, I poured my own coffee when I already knew where to get it.
In the evening we returned to the room: the bed was made, there were clean towels and 4 bottles of water. And that's it. Nobody cleaned the bathroom. The next day, they left 10 baht as a tip, in the evening the drain in the shower was already cleaned, the shelf was wiped, everything was neatly arranged, the garbage was taken out. In the morning we go to breakfast, we meet our "cleaner", smiles: "Good morning" and all that. Left 20 baht - it didn't get any better. No more left))).

The beach is terrible, you can not swim - the stones. We went to the next (very good), 15 minutes on foot, and 5 minutes by car. Sun beds can be taken for 100 baht alone. Around are different shops, cafes, where we had lunch and dinner. There is a variety, very tasty and not expensive. There is also an exchanger.
A car leaves the hotel, if it's free, only every two hours. And so, you can call a taxi, for 200-300 baht (1 rub. = 1 baht. ) As you agree.
On the evening before departure, a green snake crawled across our path - a large one, a meter and a half. We got scared.
We had a good rest anyway, the sea compensated for everything))).
