We stayed at Banyan Tree on the recommendation of friends. This is not even a hotel, but a complex of villas, I would say. We lived in a villa with a hotel pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, the bedroom walls were glass and overlooked the pond around it. In general, the accommodation is excellent, beautiful and even chic. The villa is new, everything is clean, the interior is in Thai style.
The staff is helpful, friendly, always attentive and ready to help. We ordered breakfast in the room, everything was on time and delicious. Also cleaning, which was done every day, but did not bother, even if we were on site. Of the minuses - the local restaurant is quite expensive, although there is nothing special there. It is better to go somewhere for lunch and dinner. You have to walk to the beach and it is a bit wild. Some people might like it the other way around. We don't care, because we spent most of the time at our villa and by the pool, and for entertainment we went according to the programs of one good office - Russian guys, everything was organized at the height, it turned out to save even more. We spent a couple of days on the islands with an overnight stay, all inclusive, there are beauties, nature, swimming, swimming with masks. We were also on a safari - the first time - exciting, in Phuket we went to popular shows. They also have a trick that if you take a few excursions, they will give you a ride on shopping for free. In general, the rest turned out to be full of impressions, despite the rather secluded place of our residence : )

Despite the negative reviews, my wife and I really liked the hotel, a very good idea of separate villas with a pool. A large territory, we were given bicycles for movement - it’s already good for warming up. The staff is friendly, responsive. The food is varied, there is a choice, a lot of fruits, the restaurant is very nice.

For entertainment and walks, you can also drive to the center, although a taxi is not cheap. You have to walk a little to the beach, it is large, normal, you can take umbrellas and sun loungers. But our main impressions, including from the beaches, were from sea voyages to the islands of Thailand - Phi Phi, Similans, we ordered them separately from a local company. And entertainment, and interesting, and impressive. To get to know Phuket itself better, you can go on a sightseeing tour. We think it's better than sitting in bars or just lying on the beach! ) In general, we were quite satisfied with the rest in a beautiful secluded villa. Everything turned out as we wanted.
