Since we were traveling to Thailand for the first time, naturally, we wanted not to be disappointed, respectively, we were looking for the best resort and a more or less normal hotel. The choice fell on Phuket, Karon Beach, and I was not mistaken! Tai is special and Karon is his gem. The sea is blue, the water is clear, the sand is clean, fine and creaks underfoot.
The only thing that upset us was that before the flight itself, we changed the airport of arrival. We were supposed to fly to Phuket, but as they explained to us, March is the high season and the airport cannot cope. So we flew to Krabi, and this is an extra 4 hours drive, in the heat! We arrived at the hotel boiled and didn’t want anything! But morning came, we went out to the balcony, saw a huge statue of Buddha, a lot of greenery and a feeling of paradise returned for 12 days!
About the hotel. For some reason, I was sure that the hotel would be like a slum and reassured myself only that I was going to Karon and I would just need to spend the night and wash in the hotel. In fact, it turned out not so bad. The room is small but comfortable enough. Yes, the air conditioner works loudly, here and there there are stains on the wall and rusty railings on the balcony. But the rest is very personal! Small territory, there are pools, but we did not go there. Why, if there is such a beach nearby !! ! By the way, we went to the beach in front of the Hilton hotel (it's a 5-minute walk to the left of our hotel), there are practically no people there, and these annoying sellers too. I want to warn you right away, there are no showers and toilets on all the beaches of Phuket, this is not very convenient!

Did a Thai massage in the salon, which is located on the territory of this hotel - it's a real buzz! The girls are great, and don't believe those who say that everything hurts after a Thai massage. If everything is done correctly, then nothing should hurt! The room is cleaned well and with a tip and without them!
As for food, we only had breakfasts, they are normal, similar to what they offer in Turkey and Egypt. The rest of the time we ate in cafes. Eat as much fruit as possible and drink fruit shakes - they are very tasty there. We have never eaten in macaroons - to be honest, they somehow do not inspire confidence! I took a lot of medicines with me, I was afraid to get poisoned or catch something. Thank God nothing came of it! Just avoid the sun! We used a spray with SPF 50, sat only under umbrellas and went to the room for lunch. And at the same time they managed to burn out, and came home with a great tan!!!
Excursions were taken on the street, it is cheaper there than Pegasus offers, but you still eat all in the same bus, with the same guide. Take them as many and different as possible. Thailand is a country where you never cease to be amazed.
In general, we came home satisfied, rested and with a carriage of impressions!!!
And now some warnings. Thais have already been spoiled by Slavic tourists, who now and then litter money on vacation, so they are trying in every possible way to divorce us. When you buy something, bargain, prices are discounted by 3-4 times. At the airport, every third tourist is trying to breed money. We were traveling with one suitcase for two, weight 27kg. Before that, on the bus, the guide explained in detail and said that you can 33kg for two, and these rested, they say, you have an excess of 5kg, pay 3000 baht ($ 100). When you argue with them, they pretend they don't know English. We said that we had no money and they gave us a package so that we could reload it into hand luggage and let us through without money. There are a lot of such stories, so argue, swear, call the management - they are afraid of this!! ! And never pay! Well, if you are really sure that you have everything according to the rules!
