I will say right away that young people and couples at the Centara Hotel will obviously be bored. But for families with children or people of age, it will definitely be chic. Such a nice little and cozy family nest))). The territory is chic, everything is green and neat. There are many places for walking with children, there is a children's shallow pool with a mushroom and an awning stretched over it, it is very convenient, you are not afraid of sun or heat stroke when the baby splashes. There is also a small water slide, set on a picturesque stone island. A beautiful bridge leads to this island, it turns out an interesting children's water area. Good animation, the children were happy. Also a good club with educators, and a zone with consoles. As for Tai, it is a good replacement for Turkey, but with all the delights of Asia. The beach is no more than 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace. For the whole day you can take sun loungers with an umbrella for 200 baht, and at the same time go to eat in a cafe, and the place will be yours. The beach is clean, the sand and the entrance are pleasant, the children swam with great pleasure, many times better than Patong. There are many places with great food along the way to the beach, if you walk a little further from the hotel itself, you can find cafes much cheaper and with a better selection of food. If there is a desire, it is better to take a walk. We initially took HB food, since it is still easier to feed a small child in a hotel restaurant than in street cafes, and it’s easier in terms of hiking. The hotel did not cost us much more, but we did not worry at all about the food for the children. The hotel has two restaurants, so we have never seen queues, even for breakfast, when the restaurants are the most crowded. Breakfast is always varied, try to change the menu whenever possible. For children there were dry breakfasts and cereals with milk, good tasty pastries, a lot of fruits. Enough and ordinary sausages, scrambled eggs, omelettes with different fillings, vegetable salads and a few Thai dishes for a change. Dinners were richer. The meat was cooked very tasty with local spices, my husband and I really liked it. For children, there have always been more familiar potatoes and pasta. You could take delicious chicken or fish without spices. Well thought out service, in the room. A couple of times, they ordered dinner in the room, they didn’t wait long and brought everything they ordered, plus a plate of fruit for the children, it was very nice that they took care of the children. Our room was overlooking the mountains, very quiet and peaceful. The cleaning is excellent, the furniture is comfortable, albeit old. There was a small bed in the room. They brought water every day, replenished tea and coffee, milk. With towels, we also never had any questions, the bed was changed at the request. There are almost no Russian-speaking staff, although this somewhat did not prevent us from resolving issues. I also want to highlight the availability of high-speed Internet throughout the hotel. We calmly watched cartoons and videos in the evenings in our room. The hotel is fully consistent in quality and price, and we will try to come here next year.
