The hotel is good, but we were settled and evicted with big problems! It ruined the holiday.

About the hotel Duanjit. Good: the hotel is excellent in terms of territory, service, food, pool. Were in 5 stars in Egypt and China - Thai is not inferior in quality and beauty. I really liked the hotel itself, we believe that this is the most beautiful and high-quality hotel in Patong Bay, because others have seen it, they cannot be compared with Duanjit. Considering that Patong Beach is not the best in Phuket, you will have to choose - a cool hotel, evening parties and trips to other beaches for 400 baht (the baht is approximately equal to the ruble) or a good beach and another hotel nearby, but a quiet bay without evening programs. The pools in Douanjit are amazing, this is what bribed us in the end when choosing a hotel, our hopes were justified. Delicious breakfasts, daily cleaning, great landscape. Everything is aimed at rest, there are many beautiful corners. Convenient location - in the active bay of Patong, but without screams, music and fuss. There are many exchange offices nearby, an inexpensive family suite shop (beer, cola, creams, sausages, etc. ), the beach is a 10-minute walk. The service is generally good, we recommend the hotel. Bad: When checking in and out, we didn’t get the service at all, given that we are very disciplined and not capricious over trifles. On the hotel website, we booked the Family Suite on our own, the hotel took an advance payment. When checking in, it turned out that 4 people in one room do not accommodate (which was not a word on the site) - the rules of the hotel. We were forced (! ) in the literal sense (taking into account the fact that an advance payment of 15 thousand rubles had already been removed from the card) to take 2 double rooms and pay another 18 thousand rubles. This was extremely frustrating, given the limited vacation budget. When checking in, the managers refused to describe the scheme of the newly calculated payment (by day - because in March there were some prices, from April 1 - others) and the time of stay, they did not warn about the check-out time, as a result, on the last day, two hours are very tedious and ugly kicked us out of the room. Explanations that the husband and children will return in 1.5 hours and we will certainly move out - did not inspire anyone, the staff called the room every 10 minutes and literally kicked out. After an hour of bickering, when the shift attendant joined in, they managed to persuade us to give us the opportunity to pack our bags in half an hour. As a result, before the time of departure to the airport, we had to leave our suitcases at the reception and just sour in the pool for 4 hours in order to wait out the heat somewhere. With two kids!! ! For the first time we encountered such an attitude - given that we paid the hotel for 2.5 weeks about 100.000 baht - no loyalty and courtesy. This greatly spoiled the impression of the hotel. About Patong Bay. The bay is interesting, active, seething with life and events. There are cafes and restaurants on every square. The mass of tourists, the anthill is simple. Lots of transport. Advertising cars with Thai bucks are constantly driving around, buzzing, making noise, inviting. The beach is not very clean, especially at low tide - algae and debris are nailed, swimming is unpleasant. A lot of jet skis, parachutes, quite noisy. Twice our water area was wrapped by local fishermen with a net, they did not react to comments that we were swimming here. Lots of boats, boats, active marine life in full stock. On the beach, annoying sellers of local souvenirs. The beach is municipal, a sunbed costs 100 baht. If you need calmness and a "bounty" beach - it's by taxi or tuk-tuk for 200 baht and 10 minutes drive - Karon and Kata beaches. The difference is like heaven and earth. The water is blue and clear, you can see the fish. The sand is white and crunchy under your fingers. Peace and quiet. And on the beach, almost all Russians. About Phuket. The island is spoiled by tourists, prices are quite expensive, sellers and taxi drivers are a bit impudent. Meals - a very modest dinner for 4 cost us 1000-1500 baht (second, cola, beer and EVERYTHING! ). The local food is interesting, but by the end of the holiday we found the Russian restaurant Tropikoza and ate borscht with dumplings. Commodity prices are insanely high compared to Bangkok and low compared to Russia. Sandals, swimwear, glasses, sundresses, souvenirs - within 200-300 baht you can bargain. Initially, the seller calls the price 1500 baht, in total he sells for 200. But if he bargains evilly and aggressively, he is not inferior. That's why smiles work wonders. Our excursions: One day we persuaded a taxi driver to drive all day long - they gave him 600 baht for the whole day. We visited at the same time: a zoo with three shows (crocodiles, elephants and monkeys), a butterfly plantation, an orchid garden, Vacha Long monastery (free of charge, very beautiful), Big Buddha - a statue on a high mountain, an aquarium. Gone all day, but interesting. We bought a speedboat ticket to the James Bond Islands - we liked it very much. The landscapes are amazing. At least once, but you need to go to the islands. We bought a trip to a Thai village - we rode a canoe, on elephants, watched Thai boxing and national fun with monkeys and elephants. And bought diving in the Similan Islands. Diving is the most expensive of all these pleasures, two days cost 14 tr. Communication - you need to buy a local SIM card DTAC and Happy tariff - the cost of calls to Russia is 4 baht per minute. If burned - in every store there are green tubes of Aloe Vera cream - it helps a lot. We recommend going to Rawai Beach - from 4 to 7 pm, local fishermen sell their catch there, and across the road it is cooked very tasty, everything is inexpensive. For comparison - in a Phuket restaurant, king prawns cost 150-300 baht 100 grams, and there the same prices per kilogram! and 120 baht for cooking in a cafe. In general, the rest is very colorful and impressive. Taking into account the prices for food, excursions and taxis, these expenses amounted to 2/3 of the cost of the flight and hotel. Conclusion - Phuket is an interesting, but quite expensive vacation. Good luck to all vacationers! Ready to answer questions while fresh impressions.
