We chose the hotel on the principle of "the best place to stay with children", shoveled a bunch of options and places to stay, and decided that the holdday inn is the best place for this indicator. We were not mistaken with the choice, already on the spot we heard from many Russian guides that this is the best hotel in Patong, which, however, we ourselves do not doubt, since we saw quite a lot.
The whole territory is immersed in greenery, very convenient reception and access from the street, the sea across the road, a lot of pools and restaurants, including children, very attentive staff who constantly monitors if you need anything, there are always fresh flowers, water in the room, and other rubbish (free). They banged three glasses in two weeks and lost a teaspoon - they didn’t even include it in the bill. Change of linen and cleaning every day, if you go to a restaurant, you choose what you need from the menu (European cuisine) and after 20 minutes they drag you to your room (usually after daytime sea excursions, when you don’t have the strength to go to a Russian restaurant). Our two children could not eat normally anywhere else, until they found this zucchini, for 1000 rubles. there the four of us go out to eat.
Only the following things disappointed in the rest: 1. It is not possible to eat local cuisine in principle, even the one that is not spicy, such crap. 2. The stench of sewerage is everywhere on the street due to the peculiarities of the local sewerage system. 3. Local merchants pester you all the way and offer to buy all sorts of rubbish or get a massage, including on the beach 4. Freeze out local sexual mores and the associated abundance of homosexuals and other evil spirits on the streets 5. The almost complete absence of simple shops with simple goods (grocery and industrial), there are only round-the-clock with drinks, piece goods and products in packs.

and finally, 6: even on expensive sea excursions - huge crowds of people, dirty beaches and lack of time just to calmly swim and sunbathe. And local seafood is very expensive and tasteless, I would say, shit. In no comparison with our Seaside crabs and shrimps can even be compared. Who knows, he will understand: either I will buy a whole bag of crabs in Andreevka for 500 rubles or a bag of the freshest shrimp and enough for the whole evening for the family to husk with beer, or here for 2500 they sold me 4 tiger prawns (large) and one medium lobster, ( by weight) and there is nothing to eat.
In short, the hotel is good, and the rest is bullshit.
