Before I went, I read a lot of reviews. Everyone disagrees, but I agree with most. The hotel clearly fulfills the funds spent on it. The place is chic, inaccessible to outsiders, the lagoon with the finest and cleanest sand remains at your complete disposal (unlike public beaches, which prevail in Phuket). The food is excellent but it is expensive to eat regularly at the hotel. Only used the free breakfast. Most of the time we went to Patong. If you are reluctant to go to the city, then there is an eatery very close by, 5 minutes walk outside the gate, in which you will be fed quite well. Immediately refused the deposit. They removed the entire bar (leaving the refrigerator empty), and then they filled it with fresh fruit and whiskey bought in the city. There are ice machines on the floors. Ice buckets in the rooms. Went downstairs and sipped your ice whiskey. The conditioner works great. Control is built into one console along with lighting. Very convenient to use. With the view of the room you can not fool around. I took a SEA VIEW (overpaying a hefty sum), but I could have taken it with a view of the pool, from it you can see absolutely the same sea . . the current is a little at an angle. I'll be smarter next time.
There is a dive center right in the hotel. They will find you a Russian instructor if needed. If anyone is interested, I can tell you the number of the guy who taught us. We are a great instructor.
