Rested in Chris or FX in February 2011. I liked the hotel, a normal city hotel. The hotel corresponds to the declared star rating, I think you can already add +. The fact that there is no territory and a small pool is nonsense, because we came to see another country, and not to stay in a hotel and swim in the water where bleach is poured. The check-in went very quickly, literally 5 minutes, the rooms were already ready and painted who, where they would live, they took their passports (then they returned them). I didn’t like the fact that there is an outdoor air conditioner unit on the balcony, it’s a bit noisy at first, but then you get used to it, it’s nonsense, and they take a deposit of $ 100, but here I think it’s our own fault, you don’t need to steal towels and bathrobes from hotels. The rooms are good, not shabby with good furniture, there is TV - one Russian channel, a refrigerator (without a mini bar), a hair dryer must be taken to the reception (free of charge), a safe, a sling-soap set every day even if you did not use the previous ones.
Bed 2x2, but some kind of harsh. Linen was changed after 3 days, but pillowcases, as it seemed to us, every day. Nothing was stolen from the room, nothing was missing, they left phones and photo-video equipment and things, everything is in place. I won’t write much about the restaurant, we had breakfasts, I’ll just write - it’s a glutton, I don’t understand people who write = breakfasts are monotonous =, let them remember what they eat at home for breakfast, and then they write like that. 6 types of fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, rice with seafood, noodles, pasta, potatoes of all kinds, boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, ham, milk, musli, juice, honey, jams, raisins, cheese, sausage, raw smoked meat...Judge for yourself whether they are monotonous or not. So for the restaurant out of 5 points I will put 6. By and large, we have no complaints about the hotel!!!
I would also like to add about the hotel that during the trip my wife and I had birthdays, so we received small gifts from the general manager of the hotel, like a trifle, but nice. Thank him very much! You can easily walk from the hotel to all the attractions on foot, which is a big plus. I would go to this hotel again. But about the host, it was Pegasus, a separate conversation. Met, brought to the hotel everything is fine. The next day we made an appointment with the hotel guide, apparently it was impossible before, they are very busy, so the meeting was scheduled for 10-30 in the morning. The whole emphasis of the meeting was on the fact that excursions should be taken only from them, everyone else is deceiving ....We went through this, so I can safely say that this is complete nonsense! DONT BELIEVE THEM! ! This is pure money making. In Phuket, all excursions are organized by Thais, and ours are bought from them and resold to us.

For example, an excursion to the Similan Islands at the Pegasus costs 3950 baht (rubles), we took a Russian tour. agency '' Treasure Island '' (their phones were given to us by acquaintances who also took excursions from them a month earlier) for 2500 baht with a Russian guide, on the street from Thais you can take for 2000 baht, you just need to clarify which guide will be (either Russian or Russian-speaking and what boat). So consider for yourself who, how and on whom earns money. Pegasi also combined 2 excursions of James Bond and Phi Phi Islands into one, supposedly to save our money, and what do you think happened, the guys took it from us, then they told us, we drove for about an hour to Bond there, they quickly looked, and quickly left for Phi Phi, by speedboat, another hour away. On Bond they didn't see any caves, or monkeys, or any bats, they didn't swim in kayaks, everything was just superficial. In general, this gruzilovo lasted about an hour and a half with a penny.
The only useful information was how to call from Thailand and advised not to rent a scooter. When we took trips to Phuket, we were told at the agency that there would be a free sightseeing tour. But on the tour, we were told that we had to pay 350 baht per person for lunch, and they said when we had already driven 500-600 meters from the hotel, as it turned out later, who took tour tickets from them, the food on the survey was free, and who is not with those they cut down money. I don’t feel sorry for these 700 baht, but somehow it’s not decent, they say one thing, but in fact it’s another, I think the agency where we took the tickets didn’t think of a free tour out of their own heads. Farther. First of all, they brought us to a supposedly latex factory, which turns out to be just their store selling latex products. Roman loaded us there, said that only they have the real latex, and everywhere a fake is sold, at best, illiquid.
Please note (if anyone goes on a survey with them) that they have latex mattresses, 7.5 cm lie on simple mattresses, you lie down softly, but when I asked them to put a latex mattress on the floor and I lay down on it, it turned out to be very hard, on they answered me that I have a lot of weight (100kg) and I need a 15cm mattress, in general, they got out. Example: a latex pillow costs 4000 baht, and on Bangla Road in ''Ocean Plaza'', on the second floor, the same price is 1600 baht without bargaining. It all lasted about 2 hours, then they brought me to some temple, where the guide stayed on the bus, saying, at the same time, go for a walk for 40 minutes, then if you have questions, ask, and I will be on the bus. Where they were, what kind of temple I still don’t know. Then there was our wonderful lunch. Is a mockery!
We seated eight people at the tables, put two fried fish, rice, soup, something else, but the point is not in quantity, but in how to divide it all into 8 people, people sat at the beginning and looked at each other, who will begin to impose the first. After lunch, we were brought to the observation deck, from where you can see Phuket Town, there 20 minutes, the view is not very good. Well, in the end we were taken to a jewelry factory, where we looked like gold and silver, my wife said that she didn’t need anything here, especially since we were in such factories in Pattaya and somewhere near Bangkok, from there they began to deliver by hotels. As a result, we lost a day of rest, we got to the beach only at 17-30. But on the second sightseeing tour we went with Anya from Treasure Island.

To be honest, here we were pursued by mercantile considerations, we had to buy souvenirs for gifts, and Anya brings them to a souvenir shop, where prices are really cheap (for example, an elephant is not a small 70 baht, they don’t give it cheaper than 120 in Patong), a show with snakes, then we stopped at cashew factory 15-20min, royal jelly 15-20min, then we went to BIG BUDDHU, where there is an observation deck with a great view. After the tour, Anya asked whom to take where (someone went to the Festival Center, some to Oulet shopping, some to hotels). The tour started about an hour, the whole tour took no more than 4-5 hours, the tour was on a small bus, and there were 9 people in total, and not like a Pegasus, on a large and almost full bus of people. About food. Eating out in Patong can be both expensive and cheap. The most expensive dinner we had was 2950 (they took lobsters and wine), the cheapest 80 baht for two, we took pilaf with chicken on a mokashnitsa.
On the third street near the Jane Ceylon shopping center, a market opens every evening, where Thais come on mopeds with trailers and cook various goodies. It is worth noting the national soup Tom Yam, which is made with a shrimp or chicken base. This soup in the original version is served very spicy, so do not risk it. It is better to say the cherished “but spicy”, and then it will be acceptable for food. Both Thais and Europeans eat there, and we ate 4 times, there were no stomach problems. There is a Carrefour supermarket in the Jane Ceylon shopping center, they sell cheap alcohol, you can buy fresh shrimp there, 1 kg of small ones costs 175 baht, large 300 baht, and in front of you they will fry them and wrap them with you. Pineapple 30 baht apiece. There is a MK restaurant in the Jane Ceylon shopping center, many reviews recommend visiting it, we went there, we didn’t like it, we also stood in line for 30 minutes, but we got the same as opposite the fire station only 2 times more expensive. So it's up to you to choose.
