Went there with my husband on our honeymoon in February. We were very satisfied especially with the hotel and the country as a whole. We stayed in a standard room overlooking the large pool. The hotel is clean, well maintained, surrounded by exotic greenery, friendly staff. As an architect, I liked the intricate layout of the hotel. Only by the end of the first week I began to confidently navigate the intricacies of transitions, ramps, floors, pools, terraces. By the way, there are two pools: one large with fresh water, the other smaller with salt water. We enjoyed swimming in it even at night. The breakfasts are delicious, everything is always fresh. It is rather a full-fledged lunch, because there are fruits, and vegetables, and pilaf, and sausages, and potatoes, and breakfast cereals, and of course coffee, tea, juices, hot toasts, and scrambled eggs. We ate so much that we only had dinner in addition. The only thing is that in two weeks the menu has not changed much and could get bored. Even on Thursday evenings in the restaurant there was a concert with a buffet for 299 rubles (butt), otherwise they had dinner in all kinds of cafes. We rented bikes right at the hotel and rode all two weeks, so we had no problems getting around the island. We independently traveled all the beaches, temples, waterfalls, were in the national park (a tropical paradise, they give a map at the entrance and you yourself study the jungle, swim in waterfalls, wander along bridges and paths), rode a bike to the Big Buddha, to the zoo and to the park Fantasy. Excursions were bought only on the street - 2.5 times cheaper than from a hotel guide. The best excursion is, of course, Similan. Phone calls are incredibly cheap.
