Our first trip to Thailand. My first review. Vacationing with my husband. I chose the hotel on the principle of the cheapest price for a 3 * hotel on Karon Beach. Pegasus had a promo price for it. I want to write a review specifically about the hotel, not about the airline, not about the tour operator and not about the beach. Also I will try without emotions, only facts. Before the trip, I read reviews about this hotel in other sources, studied the photos of the rooms on the Heritage website, so I could roughly imagine how the hotel and rooms look like.
We arrived at the hotel at about 9 am. The check-in took place within 10-15 minutes without problems, the hotel employee carried the suitcases to the room. Superior room with balcony. Large bed, 2 bedside tables, coffee table and 2 armchairs, CRT TV (1 Russian channel), mirror and dressing table, large closet, hair dryer, mini bar, air conditioning, bathroom. There are 2 chairs on the balcony. The lighting is dim. There is no safe in the room, no wi-fi in the room either.
The hotel is located along the road.

Walk 3 minutes to the beach, you need to cross the roadway. Opposite the exit from the hotel - an exchanger, right next to a supermarket 7/11; behind the hotel there is a market (clothes, souvenirs, etc. ), through which there is a short path to cafes, restaurants, bars, macarons, fruit shops, pharmacies, exchangers, shops. Across the street from the hotel is a tuk-tuk taxi rank.
Room cleaning excellent. Daily 2 bottles of drinking water 0.33. In the bathroom, soap, shampoo-conditioner, shower gel, shower caps, cotton swabs, toilet paper were always reported as needed.
Beach towels are provided free of charge at the reception. It is also free to use a safe deposit box at the reception and wi-fi in the hotel lobby.
The staff is friendly, everyone greets and smiles. 3 girls worked in shifts at the reception. One of them practically does not understand either English or Russian. The second understands and can speak English.
And the third even speaks a little Russian. We had no problems, because we have basic knowledge of English. But some tourists had to communicate with the staff in sign language. In the reviews I read that a Russian girl works at the reception, we did not find her. The security guard also speaks good English.
The hotel pool is small, located on the roof. There are sun loungers with mattresses and bamboo houses with pillows. The pool also has a bar, toilets m/f.
At the entrance to the hotel there is a tank with water and a bucket, you can wash your feet from the sand after the beach, so as not to drag sand into the room. Yes, and just in a buzz douse the legs with cool water : )
Breakfasts were held at the Baron restaurant at the hotel. The menu is the same every day, with minor changes. Buffet.
The hotel has SPA services, 50 baht cheaper than in masseurs on the street. Registration and payment at the reception.
The spa is located next to the fish pond (transition from building A to building B) on the 3rd floor.
The hotel periodically conducts insect control, and asks not to be in the room on a certain day and time. During our stay, the treatment was carried out 1 time.
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel and rooms, only in special places, there are 2 of them.

Outcome: I liked everything. The price-quality ratio was perfect for us.
But I reduce 3 points for 2 meetings with cockroaches in the room.

Maybe I missed something, you can ask questions. I'll try to answer.
