It all started with the fact that they sent an offer by mailing list: 11 days in Phuket for 29 thousand per person (from Novosibirsk), you don’t choose a hotel. Read about it, tensed. Before that, in Phuket, we stopped in Kamala, one can say that before our eyes, after the tsunami, it grew to a rather large village. And here is the dubious Patong, very different reviews about the hotel. Phuket just wanted to death.
Everything turned out to be very good. The hotel is really located in a very quiet place, but close to the party. Yes, walking up and down invigorates, if there are problems with the musculoskeletal system, then it’s a disaster, but if you ate extra pounds during the winter, then that’s it! You can choose to stomp on the steps or walk smoothly along the circular path along the chic tropical vegetation. The furnishings in the rooms are simple, but there was enough space in the closet for the things of three people, suitcases also fit. Believe me, sometimes in more luxurious hotels, the lack of storage space is simply infuriating.
They settled us on the mountain itself, but next to the pool. The sign says that it is open from 10 am (! ) to 6 pm (!!! ). And what Siberian can put up with such stupidity! ? Of course, waking up at five-thirty-five, we flopped into the pool, trying not to make a lot of noise. The pool is small, but long, there is where to wave your arms and legs. So in the evening, crawling from a walk or excursion, how was it not to refresh yourself in the pool? It regulates only that at about 8.15 nice Thai guys came and poured chlorine into the pool with a bucket. But that meant it was time to stomp on breakfast.

Breakfast was not included, tried to chew on the first morning (200 baht per person), rather dreary food. But, having gone down a little more from the mountain, you find yourself on a street where the Thais cook "for their own", that is, for ridiculous money (three of us managed to have breakfast for three hundred with a tip) "native" food, tasty, fresh! Once they missed a little, proudly declaring "spicy! ", It was very spicy! After this incident, just before breakfast, they ran into the store 7-11 for a small bottle of milk. But this is breakfast. If you go down from the hotel, then turn right, walk to the crossroads and turn towards the sea (with a very leisurely step to the sea for about fifteen minutes) - there are cute eateries with delicious tom yam and other gourmet pleasures at almost every step. Here, the aunts fry all sorts of things, the kebabs of one were simply magical. Food is clear.
To our amazement, we met this for the first time in Thailand, there was no kettle in the room, but we are experienced travelers, we had everything with us. So, if you like to indulge in tea and coffee after school hours, you need to keep in mind. Although, I saw that citizens took coffee pots with hot water somewhere.
The atmosphere in the hotel seemed very friendly to us, it may have happened that during this period only very calm Russo-tourists came over, but no one interfered with anyone, did not frolic loudly in the pool, did not drink.
The rooms were cleaned normally, no complaints. But when we needed to leave for three days on Pi-Pi and we simply had no idea how to get to it on our own, the girl at the reception solved the problem in a matter of minutes. In the morning we were picked up by a bus, at the pier we were put on a boat and on the island we were met by a long tail from our "bungalow" hotel. To do this, they simply showed a printed page with our order for a bungalow on the Internet, with the name and dates. Bungalow on the island - a separate and beautiful song.
During our absence, nothing happened to the room and things in it, but the people in the vicinity of the pool ("six hundred" rooms) diminished so much that we felt something like loneliness. Imagine: you are hanging out in a pool overlooking the jungle, silence, only butterfly birds flutter. Meta, practically.
We never used the minibus that takes vacationers to Jan Ceylon (a hefty shopping center), I can’t say anything, we just walked for about ten minutes. Near the shopping center there is a huge market with fruits, meat, fish, and near a very fashionable restaurant with average prices and a sign "We will cook everything that you buy at the market", next time we will definitely use it.

(A lyrical digression) The weather at the end of May was something like this: the sun was showing, and clouds were running in with rain, which poured in ten minutes in a downpour or drizzled for long hours. This did not prevent you from hanging out around the town, on the beach, by the way, in cloudy weather, these grabbers on the beach do not dare to take money from you for a sunbed. But there are problems with the sea, it is clean, but the waves are funny, you get into the water, and you are thrown ashore with kicks and cracks, you can’t swim. But it is very beautiful.
It is better to go on boat trips on large ships, on small ones a very warm wave overwhelms the only way, it is pleasant, but scary. And on Pi-Pi it's just great, apparently, due to the fact that it is in the shadow of Phuket, there are no waves, you can swim to your heart's content.
