We don’t bother much with hotels, because we always go to see the country and sights, and not stay at the hotel all the time, so we don’t stay in very expensive hotels. The main criterion is the availability, location and comfort of the rooms. This time with Sugar Marina we were extremely lucky. The hotel has an excellent location between the two beaches of Kata and Kata Noi. Kata is a little closer, but that there, that you can easily get there on foot. Both beaches are clean and with excellent sea. There are always free sunbeds available. The sand is fine and clean. The absence of algae and big waves also pleased. The sea, as always, is magical, clean and very warm. The beach stretches for a very long distance, so you can easily retire and be alone with the wonderful nature of the island. The hotel also has a lot of positives. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Since it is not located in the very center, it is quite quiet in it. . Among other things, if you are too lazy to go somewhere, you can have a pretty decent and tasty lunch at the hotel itself, and most importantly, the prices are quite inexpensive with an excellent choice of dishes and quality food, and even cheaper than in some local restaurants, but with better service . Breakfast included in the price is no less varied. Delicious omelettes, bacon, vegetables and fruits, various breakfast cereals, fresh pastries, yoghurts, meat and fish, side dishes in the form of noodles and rice, as well as delicious Thai soups. So recharging was quite enough until lunch, and sometimes until dinner, if you take a walk))) We were also very pleased with the rooms and the service itself. Cleaning is daily and of high quality, just do not forget to hang a sign on the door with the side where cleaning is written, otherwise you will not be disturbed))). Very comfortable bathroom with bathtub and shower. An interesting design move with a glass wall from the bathroom to the room itself. If you are not satisfied, then you can close the blinds, but my husband and I really liked it; ). Towels and bedding were changed regularly, as well as shampoos and gels. . A great bonus was the constantly replenished free minibar with drinks and Snickers. Also, there is a small but comfortable balcony with a table and chairs for evening and morning gatherings. All the furniture in the rooms is new and comfortable, air conditioning and a plasma TV, which we hardly used. We also never encountered problems with hot-cold water, extraneous smells and sounds. The hotel has a small but comfortable area, a clean pool with cool night lighting. There is a gym with everything you need to keep fit. So we were very pleased with the Sugar Marina hotel, as well as the rest itself in general. We will recommend it to our friends and acquaintances, and also wish everyone else a good holiday.
