Good day to all! We rested in Tavorna in August 2010. , were in Phuket for the first time, before that they were in Thailand, but in winter and in Pattaya. I must say right away that for me these are 2 different Thailands, and Phuket wins, which is probably not surprising. . . island vacation, he is an island. I will not go into the details of the flight, I will say one thing, we flew for the second time and became even more established in my opinion that a ticket should be taken without Bangkok, a waste of money and time. . . Well, now more about the hotel. . . The location of the hotel will appeal to those who come to enjoy nature, silence, remoteness from everyone and everything, clean air, a riot of greenery, huge fluttering butterflies, chirping cicadas, birds chirping around the clock, and in the evenings connecting to them with their croaking frogs.... than paradise, in general, we came to relax quietly and calmly, bask in the sun and get high from peace and idleness, we were simply delighted with this hotel. But.... again, as they say, there is no harm without good, this hotel has its location both an advantage and a disadvantage, since there is no possibility to buy anything on the territory (the same fruit juices) you have to go to the city for everything, and if there you can take a free bus 2 times a day, then returning by taxi costs 300 baht, well, we always bargained for up to 250, so count, if you don’t even ride every day, how much more will be spent on the road. But we found a suitable option for ourselves, we went to the Ceylon shopping complex, there is a huge supermarket, with very reasonable prices, the same fruits are cheaper than in street markets, but also chilled, stocked up there for several days, be sure to visit a Russian restaurant "House of spices" (strongly recommend, cleanliness, super service, dishes are huge, prices are inexpensive, in addition to our dishes there are Thai and sushi, who loves, I especially recommend freshly squeezed juices, mango, watermelon, pumping, well, what is it of course on lover, I have a son and even ordered from a lemon))) and we had enough for a few days. We swam mainly in the pool, although the beach is our own, but the tides are such that you have to go to the sea through the reefs and a decent distance, and since it was the rainy season and the sea was stormy, a red flag was hanging almost all the time warning about the ban on swimming . Our bungalow was located next to the gym, so we always rested near the small pool, and there are several of them in the hotel, the largest one is near the main restaurant. In general, we rested with pleasure, but next time I looked at a hotel closer to the city, and how life will be there)))) I also want to say for those who will take a bungalow, although they are near the beach, and it is very convenient, but who is afraid of all living creatures, keep in mind that your neighbors will be lizards, tropical cockroaches, ants and other flea-lice, though there are fumigators everywhere, and when you turn them on, they die, but the very fact that someone is crawling around and rustling.... but it's up to you, in any case, Thailand is a wonderful country, I want to return there again and again, that's where you forget about everything bad and enjoy only relaxation and friendly smiles of Thais!!!!!!! !
