Hotel ratings by criteria:
I would not advise anyone to stay in this hotel if you like a comfortable stay! Hotel: Surprises begin at the entrance to the hotel - even the path leading to it runs along uneven asphalt with potholes. . . further more. Next door are construction sites. Pros: Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Located 10-15 minutes drive from the center of Patong. There is a free scheduled shuttle service available on a very strange and old bus, where 35-40 people were packed. The buildings are located by a ladder, so you need to constantly walk up the stairs (or wait a long, long time for an elevator due to the huge number of Chinese) - for children and the elderly this will be a problem (although for young people too - it’s easy to stumble and fly down). Room (standard): in the room there are no hotel bathrobes, no slippers, no hair dryer, no iron, no ironing board. The furniture is quite old. The air conditioner works in two modes - either it cools terribly (when the temperature is set to any less than 25 degrees, the temperature of the supplied air does not change), or it simply ventilates and, moreover, it makes a terrible noise (and when you go to bed, you choose between sleeping in stuffiness and sleeping in that you will fall asleep for a very long time because of the noise). Audibility - excellent (for example, people passing outside were very well audible). Cleaned steadily, every day. There is a safe. Hotel food: In the restaurant for breakfast for 2 weeks, the assortment of food did not change TOTALLY!! ! Such a meager buffet has not yet been seen in any "four" (and we were in both fours and fives in Phuket). By the end of the holiday, the very thought of the same food for breakfast just turns back. . . no meat (meat was in the only form - terribly bony pieces of meat, passed off as chicken, in a nauseating sauce), from side dishes - only boiled rice. 2 types of pastries every day, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage - that's what you could eat for 2 weeks. Vegetables were suspect. From fruits always - pineapple, watermelon (which were not always even ripe). The only difference was in the drinks. More than once faced with the situation that there were no cutlery on the tables - due to the fact that the waiters did not take the already accumulated dirty spoons / knives to the kitchen, and they did not bring new clean ones either. There are no air conditioners, of course, some plates and mugs are chipped and cracked. Beach: the beach is long, but most of it is bordered by a fence from the construction site, at night a small area is illuminated that you can’t walk along the coast. The beach is public - very often visitors reached the hotel itself with bottles of beer and in the right mood, leaving garbage behind, so there is no need to talk about any private area of the public beach, as stated by the tour operator in the description of the hotel. Lying on the beach was possible only on towels (which is ubiquitous throughout Phuket), umbrellas - 4 pieces right next to the restaurant. The sea itself is quite calm, there were no waves as such, at low tide it goes far enough - so you can swim only according to the tide schedule. There is nothing to catch here for lovers of rich underwater life, and for those who like to dive and swim without touching the bottom with their feet either - such an opportunity within the territory fenced with buoys is literally a couple of hours (during our arrival it was either early in the morning or later in the afternoon in the very heat) . Gym: like the food for breakfast, caused particular outrage. Half of the machines just don't work! The hall is small, 20 squares in size, the floor is dirty, covered with some strange coating that paints both the sole of the shoe and the hands when touched (for example, during bending). Of the real sports equipment, the workers are only a bench, dumbbells and 1 treadmill (out of two). Weather: it was not very cloudy, there were only a few rainy days, the rest were either the scorching sun or the sun behind the haze/clouds to Patong Bay, but also to the construction site below, a collapsing pool), the pools are shallow, you can’t swim in them, but you can cling. Entertainment: the tour operator Anex tour brings a "pleasant" surprise - 2-3 times a week, clients of this travel agency from all over Phuket are taken to our hotel to a paid beach party, for visiting which they pay 1000 baht, I get a 10-minute fire show, alcohol and a party with 21 to 24. . . But what do hotel guests get, especially those living in buildings 1 and 2 near one of the pools? That's right - there can be no question of any quiet family vacation, because until their party is over, you won't be able to fall asleep again because of the excellent audibility and loud music. Massage: the quality is not bad, but day by day the masseuses either did the massage with diligence, or just to get rid of it. . . In general, the impressions of the rest were brightened up only by the calm sea and the impressions from previous trips to this island. . . if I first came to Phuket to this hotel, I would never in my life want to return to this country again
