As a rule, tour operators also give SIM cards, and they say that they are better, but this is not so, they are just more expensive, 5 rubles to Russia. We went to explore the surroundings, I was on this wonderful island for the second time and tried to orient myself. Last time I lived on the super calm beach "Karon", there is a wonderful place "Ging" - this is a cafe where they cook sooo tasty, inexpensive and nice staff. Finding it is easy: if you are facing the Karon Princess Hotel, on the right there will be a short street perpendicular to the road, you need to go almost to the end and on the left side there will be this cafe. There is also a mini market and an exchanger along the way. Karon is one of the most beautiful beaches with a wide coastline. But this time I specifically took a hotel in Pattong, next to the party, because it costs 300-350 baht one way to go from Karon to hang out in Bangla. In terms of food: there are a lot of different places with a large selection of dishes. Thai cuisine is cheaper than European, there is a lot of seafood, fish, but there is also chicken, pork, etc. The main thing to remember is one phrase, if you do not like spicy - "know spicy", then there is a chance to eat well. If you like sushi, then you should go to Jungle Ceylon - this is a large shopping and entertainment center in Pattong, it has a Japanese food restaurant "Fuji" - a popular place, you can even stand in line, it's cheap, high quality and tasty, on sushi street I don't recommend eating. There are also places with Russian food on Pattong, for example, the Xenia cafe, but I ate Russian food in Moscow too. Jungle Ceylon also has a giant supermarket that has everything, as well as non-local alcohol, the prices are adequate, not more expensive than Duty Free. Next on the list is nightlife. In Phuket she boils on Bangla Road. If you listen to live music, then this is the Margarita bar, location: if you go from the sea, then this is the very last bar on the right side of Bangla. Admission is free, buy something at the bar and enjoy live music, the Thais sing there with dignity. Further, if you go along Bangla back towards the beach, 15 meters, there will be a turn into an alley, there is the most popular club in Phuket - Seduction, it has three dance floors: house, hip hop and VIP. As a rule, promoters stand near this alley and hand out flyers for free admission to all clubs. Further behind the Seduction is the Russian striptease club "Moulin Rouge", where beautiful Russian girls from different parts of Russia dance. After the Seduction closes, you can go to Hollywood, it is located a little further towards the beach, admission is free. Works until the morning. There is also the Famous club, it is located in Jungle Ceylon, there are several floors, on the upper bar near the pool and a lot of Russians, as if in a Moscow club)) Free flyers can also be taken on Bangle. And you can prepare and warm up before the night in the Phuket Beach Club - an outdoor party near the pool, it is located on the left side of Bangla, if you go towards the sea. Flyers are handed out around him for free admission and a free drink, and you can take Pinocalada, Mai Tai, rum / whiskey with cola, in short, whatever you want within 200 baht. Then you can go to smile and take another flyer, another one. And fight! ! Now let's move on to the topic of beaches. As I already said, a great big beach is Karon, followed by Kata (I haven’t been on it, I can’t say anything, but they say it’s also excellent there). There are a lot of people on Pattong Beach, there is enough space for everyone, but it is not very picturesque. We went to Surin Beach, it’s great there, there is a long pontoon from which you can dive into the turquoise depths, again, right on the beach there is a beautiful cafe “Pla” with white wicker furniture, decent cuisine and a great view of the sunset, very beautiful! ! ! Let's move on to Thai massage. We found a salon for ourselves that we went to every day, everyone there gives a great massage for 200 baht, but our favorites were Po and Pet. It is located: near Pattong Beach there is a mini squat and there is an orange fish of decent size, from it there will be an optician with a green sign across the road, to the left of it go 10 meters deep and there on the right in the same building there will be this salon. As for shopping, you need to bargain to the last, name a price many times lower than them and lower than the one you are ready to pay twice, and then throw in 10-20 baht. Glasses 150-200 baht, T-shirts 150 baht each, trousers harem pants 200 baht, no more. And I still don’t recommend taking a motorbike, I often met tourists with skinned limbs, but this is your choice.
