And in this hotel it is easier to list in a couple of lines what you liked than in a hundred lines what was terrible.
I liked the design - small white houses on the territory - like an authentic African village - it's very nice.
The area is also green which is a plus.
And a very pleasant Mauritanian cafe with Turkish coffee, mint tea and a very polite waiter.
Well, at the reception everyone is polite and willing to help.

And now for the bad.
1) I chose this hotel because, unlike the vast majority of the others, it had Wi-Fi throughout. In fact, he does not catch well anywhere. At least somehow (so that he can call his relatives on Viber and check his mail) he catches in the lobby. In rooms, bars and on the beach, he does not catch at all. That is, it seems to be there, but none of your devices can connect to it.
2) It seems that they have not heard about cleanliness here.
On the very first day, my mother saw a giant cockroach in the dining room (we have never seen such a thing in our lives), which calmly ran between the tables - she told the waiter - he slapped him as if nothing had happened. Then we crushed the same 2 in our room (! ). To say it's unpleasant is an understatement. We told the reception about the problem, we were promised to poison them and we didn’t see them again, but the sediment remained.
In general, the common areas of the hotel (reception bar, dining room) are very dirty. They don't seem to sweep under the tables at all. Between shifts, people in the dining room simply turn the fabric tablecloths over to the other side! They don't even clean the tables. Looks disgusting.
3) About food and drink. The feeling that they specifically select all the cheapest and poor quality. And no, this is not the case in all all inclusive, it's not true! We have something to compare with ....Here you get all the drinks from the diluted powder, they are poured from the machine. It tastes like syrup and sugar, it's impossible to drink anything.
Wine comes out of the machine too, imagine the quality...We only drank water, coffee and their local mint tea all week (the only plus point)
And the food is just a nightmare. It may appeal only to those who can only afford pasta at home. They seem to make salads once a week - and then you eat it all week. They are all weather-beaten and stale, and they also periodically add something that you didn’t eat yesterday (for example, pieces of nuggets that were served hot yesterday). It's disgusting!!!
Very poor choice of fish (and when it is, it is small, bony and inedible). We don't eat meat and sometimes we just couldn't find something to eat for lunch/dinner
Vegetables, cheese, fruits - of disgusting quality, withered, stale, stale, and sometimes completely rotten ...
4) What everyone goes for: the sea and the beach. Very disappointing compared to Hammamet last year (there was a perfect clear sea, clean bottom and beach).
Here the bottom is rocky, on the very first day one of us hit her toe hard and limped half the vacation. The waves are terrible, you can't buy it. And a very dirty sea - because of the waves raised from the bottom of the sand and algae. By the way, they "type" them away from the beach - in fact, they shake them off the beach into the sea along with camel excrement and thorns. And this hell at the entrance to the sea - imagine how "pleasant" it is to enter.

And do not say that they say "for such a price" - last year we were also in a hotel in Hammamet in August. Everything was WONDERFUL (sea, beach, food, drink, cleanliness, service, wifi) - but it was cheaper. So the price is irrelevant. This hotel just doesn't care about their guests.

My husband and I are the first to go to Africa. Before that, they rested in Turkey, Spain and Greece. After a long search, we settled on the Tunisian city of Djerba, the Rym Beach hotel.
The transfer from the airport to the hotel is fast and smooth without any delays. 20 minutes have not passed, but here we are at the reception.
we arrived early in the morning, and as usual, check-in at the hotel will begin at 14:00, so in order not to strain, we went for breakfast and then walked around the territory to get acquainted with the hotel.
Breakfast is simple... very simple..... even easier nowhere, we thought that it would be like this with lunch and Dinner, but it was not! lunch and dinner is manly called the feast of kings. for lunch and dinner there is Every day: a lot of different types either with pasta or rice, but there are also simple and familiar to our people),
some strange grilled vegetables, there is also a separate corner with Italian cuisine - 4 types of different pasta. Meat - beef, no pork, but this is not a disaster. The turkey was 3 times in a week in different versions. There were even fried king prawns. Take as much as you want. Everyone loves seafood, so you really have to stand up, but it's worth it. So, there is such a table with national cuisine (I tried couscous and lentils for the first time - just SUPER! ). huge selection of desserts! ! many kinds of fruit!
I can say about the room that it’s good. We didn’t expect a super deluxe, but just an ordinary standard room where you can sleep peacefully and relax after swimming, dancing and sports with animators, and a lot of Food !! ! there is all the convenience, the equipment works for 5, you didn’t even have to call anywhere! Cleaning in the room is practical every day, only missed once, but it's okay!
Djerba does not have many Excursions to offer. We thought there are many local tour agencies on the island, but there is nothing, only on the Internet you can find good offers from local Russian-speaking travel agents . . we found the site and left an application and received an instant response! sea trip on a pirate ship. . for only $20 + for one day in the Desert it was something! ! We found the best deals on the local Agent site Tunistrip. com…
Dear tourists! THE SEA is just gorgeous!! ! The water was up to the knee in the morning, but after a couple of minutes in it, I didn’t want to get out. The beach is clean. There are many sunbeds. You don't have to look for places or order!!
Animation . very Actively there are a lot of competitions + different types of dance + sports + competitions + discos, etc. in short, they don’t let you get bored !!
Excursions Djerba cannot offer much.
I can say that for not a lot of money we had a very pleasant rest in Africa.

There were four of us, two adults, two children aged 15 and 3. We arrived at the hotel on 01/11/2017. at 21.30 because nordwinds airline delayed the flight by 4 hours.
The hotels were well received. Although the dinner had already ended, we were modestly but fed and placed in the rooms. We were given bungalow C29 garden view, quiet location.
Because we have one child 3 years old, it really liked it, although at the reception we did not ask for anything. We paid for the refrigerator. they brought cottage cheese and food for the entire vacation for a three-year-old child and were not mistaken, for all the time he ate only pancakes from the hotel's food. Therefore, if your child does not eat well, take food with you, jars, milk, cottage cheese, etc. Refrigerator (killed, but worked) cost $20 for 9 days.
Room: very, very small for four people and everything, everything is tiled, even the bedside tables and the TV, and even the headrest of the large bed and with sharp corners, it is very uncomfortable for a small child. The large bed is not wooden, but on a concrete base directly from the floor and on top of the mattress : )))). Right next to the butt are two iron folding beds, also with mattresses : ))). Built-in wardrobes made of chipboard with a safe, a stool and a 22" LCD TV : ))) and EVERYTHING. The bathroom is good combined with a toilet the size of a third of the room, the shower is normal with a tray covered with thick glass. Upon arrival, they gave two jars of gel and two small soaps - take gels, shampoos and soap with you. They cleaned the room perfectly, every day, always when we were on the beach. We left 1 dollar, 1 euro or three baht (which was). The balcony is large, with a third of the room, four old plastic chairs and a table, a small clothes dryer, take a rope and clothespins with you. We were lucky with the balcony, because the next room was in the common corridor, i. e. you leave the room to the beach, and the neighbors sit and smoke, and you pass past them (this is know-how, probably, it is called caridobalcon : ))).
Food: only the main restaurant worked, everything they write on their website is a lie. True, a bar was open on the beach and near the reception from 10.00 - only drinks, i. e. There is nowhere to eat during the day. In the main restaurant, the food is very simple and not varied. There are a lot of vegetables, a lot of sweets, but there are big problems with meat - basically the meat is either not fried or cut in such a way that it cannot be lived (types: turkey, chicken, beef, fuck and all). Seafood - sometimes a small fried fish or a slightly larger fish EVERYTHING is very bony and with uncleaned innards that are bitter. Once there was cod in batter, excellent for her there was a queue. Once they gave crabs, which they managed to spoil i. e. they cooked them in such a way that they didn’t smell pleasant, they didn’t give special devices, people picked them with forks. We also took a couple, could not open them properly, cut ourselves, spat on this business, threw them away, like most. From the decent food was: pancakes with date honey, donuts, french fries, eggs, four varieties of ice cream for lunch and dinner, national soups. Pizza, pasta and sausages gave away something. It is impossible to eat cheeses and sausages - fresh. Just a careless attitude to cooking, in haste. Three food. Seafood zero with little pros. Of the fruits, only apples, pears, plums, grapes and that's it.
The beach and the sea are excellent for five plus. Even in October, you can swim without any problems, although the locals wear sweaters in the evening.
We did not take excursions, we ourselves went to the crocodile farm by taxi (it is outside the gate, 4 baht). Crocodiles were lethargic, but still interesting.
Shop outside the gate to the left, 500 m and cross the road, the monument to the camel, all purchases were made there (fixed price).
Most of the staff are friendly and kind.
We were struck by the representative of the Pegasus Tatyana. The meeting was held at 18.30 the next day after arrival, when we already knew everything we needed, and decided what we would do. This is an unprofessional employee who did not answer any of our questions without a smirk and bullying. For example, about the Internet, where it catches better, answered someday it will catch well, but now these are your problems. Or we found out, two days before departure through the airline's website, that our flight would be 14 hours earlier, we all approached Tatyana for two days to clarify this, she only made a surprised look and answered that she knew nothing, everything was fine . Although everything was known on the airline's website for a long time, and for two days I observed a time shift plus or minus an hour. Finally, Tatyana bothered to confirm this in the evening at 19.00, when there were 6 hours left before leaving the hotel. And if we didn’t make sure, and go somewhere, because according to the schedule we would have to leave the hotel at 14:30 the next day. And because our flight was rescheduled back for 14 hours (they flew 14 hours earlier, they stole the day) and we flew into the night, asked her for a lunch box, she laughing, you can say we were sent. For some reason, she said that at 3:00 at night there is some kind of food at the hotel, but then, not smiling sweetly, she said, “You will be taken out earlier at 1:00. ” With a mockery, she said that these are not her problems and Pegasus's problems, complain to the airline, she made the transfer in this way, although clause 7.7 is in the Pegasus contract. It is written that both the operator and the carrier are responsible for this. She does not even know the contract of the company she represents and does not know how to communicate with people at all. She is constantly absent, either running around pouring coffee into the bar, or laughing with the local youth. It's just that Pegasus is a very bad operator (that's why the employees are like that), do not buy tickets from this operator. Having taken 122 thousand from us for 9 nights, it was actually 8 nights (they stole 18 hours in total: there was a 4-hour delay, back 14 hours earlier than the departure, and even at night with a small child to the place of departure in the afternoon, they would never know such a tour would not buy). Advice: look at tours from other operators, at the airport we talked to people, other hotels from other operators are cheaper and cooler, make no mistake like us. We took a tour for a month and a half, asked a hundred times about departures, we were warned that there could be shifts of 2-3 hours, but it could not even occur to any normal person that the shift would be 14 hours down.
We rested very well, but the hotel is a solid 3. I liked the hotel itself, the attitude too. In the reviews, someone wrote that 4, this hotel is not in all respects 3. Were in other hotels, there are four four in Tunisia. If it were not for the stolen time and a competent representative of Pegasus, the overall rating of the entire holiday would have been 4, and so 3.

2 days before departure, we were told that the hotel is not yet ready to receive guests until May 20 and we will be accommodated for 2 days in the Seabel rym Djerba hotel. Although the hotel is 4 *, but it does not pull on them at all. The territory is large, but unkempt. Beach towels for a fee. Wifi works poorly and only at the reception. Photos of travel agencies do not correspond to reality. This is about Seabel Rym.
About Seabel Aladin:
The island of Djerba itself: in the north of the African continent, the Mediterranean Sea. The island is slightly warmer than the mainland. Djerba has its own airport. Currency: dinars and milims. There are 1000 (thousand) milims in 1 dinar. 1 dinar - about 32 rubles.
May 20 at 10 am we were waiting for the bus to move.
The bus arrived without identification marks, no guide, no tourist symbols, we realized that it was for us when one of the tourists asked the driver if this bus was in Aladin. Yes, it got there. We drove into the unknown, my husband and I joked that they would be taken to a plantation to collect dates.
We were the first tourists this season at the Seabel Aladin hotel. There were 50 of us.
Settlement: issued the keys to the room on the 2nd floor above the pool. My husband and I first went to see without luggage. We have abandoned it. We sleep during the day and the children sleep, and there during the day it is very noisy and there is music. We were upgraded to a bungalow T24.
Sea and beach: I love any sea. White fine sand. There were days when there were a lot of algae on the shore, but everything was clean. There were ebb and flow of the sea. A pleasant breeze is very deceptive. All the days we were smeared with protection 50 and at the same time did not sunbathe in the open sun.
When people began to arrive at the hotel and the hotel was full, the workers obviously did not have time. There is a lack of umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, and in the open sun you can burn out quickly, there is no shade. Beach towels for a deposit of 10 dinars. We did not take, we brought towels with us.
Meals: the main restaurant, a bar opposite the reception, where you can also take bottles of water to your room from 10 am.
Beach bar and pool bar. Breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:30 to 14:00, dinner from 19:00 to 21:00. In between snacks in bars and drinks.
In the main restaurant: you serve everything yourself, you also pour drinks yourself. Salads: could be simpler, I just don't eat them in salads.
Meat: different, liked their national dish: couscous with stew and vegetables. Kitchen European. The meat they cook there is not very good, it is tough.
The pastries and cakes and ice cream are just superb. Watermelons, melons, apricots, peaches, oranges, grapefruits, dates. There are no juices in the hotel.
On the last day of rest we went to a'la cart. Ruined the evening and wasted time. They don't even know what it is. They served the same food as in the general restaurant, and of worse quality, and the one that is not particularly eaten there. There are no juices or sodas for kids. Tea and coffee too. Water and wine. We went to a common restaurant and normally ate what we like. Of course, I complained to the guides and not only me. If anyone wants to feel, go. The guide promised to talk to the manager and turn. Spoiled the evening. We went to bed. Sleep didn't work either. They pulled out speakers to the pool and arranged a disco and karaoke there, voiceless aunts yelled into the microphone, it was terrible and there was a feeling that there was noise under our windows, although we did not live close. People complained. At 23:20 everything turned off. And it will certainly be every day now. We were lucky, we only listened to it for 2 evenings. The son was shoved and yelled at by a foreigner on the last day of the day in a restaurant. Dealt with this guest with the help of the administration.
Don't let go if your child has been hurt.
The flight was on time. Departure from the room at 12 noon. If you have a late flight or the departure time has been postponed, then you can pay an extra $25 and not check out until departure.
Animation: the guys are trying to entertain. Everything is standard, as in Turkey. There is no mini club for children. Although there is a playground and a club where you sit with your children.
Excursions: we did not go, we had enough moving and travel from and to the airport. Ruin, rubbish all around. We did not want to go and look at it. They asked people who is like, but there are more minuses. But it is everyone who decides for himself whether to go or not.
Spa: good massage.
On the beach you can take a canoe and a board with a sail for free.
Summary: the hotel is well maintained (gardeners work well). Good free wifi.
Sea, beach, swimming pool. Generally good. There are shops behind the hotel. They accept dinars, dollars, euros for payment.
Pegasus guides: not everyone agrees and embellishes a lot. Would you like to visit this hotel again? Probably not or if some things are eliminated.
This is my vision and opinion.

Our holiday on Djerba in Tunisia came at the end of June.
Climate:
The first thing to note is the pleasant climate. There is no sweltering heat, a gentle breeze, and an unusually warm sea !! ! At night it was comfortable to sleep simply with the balcony door open, the air conditioner was practically not used. There are no annoying insects, in general - grace!
About Aladin Hotel:
We chose a hotel focused on families with children, but inexpensive. Since there were no reviews on the Internet, they relied only on the advice of the tour operator. Immensely grateful to "Helis-Tour" for the strong recommendation to go to the Alladin Hotel. Hotel ***; the room is spacious, but there is no hair dryer, no TV (this was warned back in Moscow), this is where the disadvantages of living conditions end. We took a hair dryer with us, and watched the European Football Championship in the evenings on the big screen in the bar, it was even more spectacular.
About nutrition:
For breakfast - rice porridge with raisins, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages and cereals, donuts and tortillas. The child really missed oatmeal and semolina, but they squeezed juice from fresh oranges and ate watermelons. For lunch and dinner - an abundance and variety of second courses: spicy, and fresh, and stewed, and fried, and meat, and fish, and chicken, and what not - once they even cooked rapans. There were shrimp, and squid, and mussels. A lot of vegetables in all forms: both stewed and raw, in the form of side dishes and salads. From fruits: watermelons, melons, dates, peaches, plums. Ice cream is very watery, similar to our sherbet, but very tasty mousses, creams, cakes, pastries. Baking is just a fantastic variety. Delicious always freshly baked white bread. They serve soups for dinner, usually mashed soups, sometimes spicy. I must say, there was always bottled water in any quantity, unlike the neighboring hotel, by the way ****. Accordingly, there was no shortage of food and water. For afternoon tea they have pancakes and donuts. During the day, only water, soda, tea, coffee and local alcoholic drinks + beer. There is a restaurant on the beach where everything needs to be ordered in advance - delicious.
About the territory:
The area is large with a huge number of ever-flowering plants and palm trees. It's like being in a botanical garden. Incomparable pools: indoor, outdoor, located on two levels so that you can dive from one to another as from a tower, with a zone for playing water polo. Children's pool with a waterfall. The water is moderately chlorinated. So in terms of landscaping, only enthusiastic applause. The road to the beach runs among palm trees, oleanders and rhododendrons past sports grounds for volleyball, tennis, etc.
About the beach:
The beach is clean and sandy. There are a lot of sunbeds, if, of course, there is a desire to sit on the first line under a reed fungus, then you need to be early in the morning not too lazy to run to the sea and lay your towel on the right sunbed. Competently organized the protection of personal belongings on the beach. Merchants are prohibited from approaching the sunbeds area. They sell only cigarettes, pareos, palm trees and pendants in the form of stone hearts. The sea is also mostly sand, but sometimes large single stones come across. Perhaps this can be attributed to the minuses, because. there is a danger of inadvertently injuring a leg, but then we quickly looked at where people mostly go into the sea, and found a completely sandy area. Water is just magical! There were waves and calm, sometimes the algae floating near the shore strained a little, but the next day they were gone. Rubber slippers, which we bought back in Moscow, we did not need.
About excursions:
1. Excursion to the Sahara. There are diametrically opposite opinions about her. We didn’t go ourselves, so we can’t judge objectively, but the tourists of the last race were completely delighted, and the group from our race was disappointed, I can only say one thing: no matter how the guide paints, there is nothing for children to do there - it’s too hot and tiring.
2. Pirate ship. About 900 r. adult, 450 children. Great excursion! They are taken by bus to the nearest port, where a whole squadron of pirate ships is sailing to a desert island. Swim to it for about 1 hour. During this time, pirate animators paint the kids, dance, amuse people with acrobatic stunts, catch fish and crabs with a net - everyone has a lot of fun. On the island, each ship docks at its own berth. On the shore there is a huge tent with tables. For about two hours we swam on the other side of the island, and then the pirates treated us to traditional Tunisian dishes: couscous, tortillas, salad and fish. For dessert, watermelon and tea (lunch is included in the price of the tour). Then the pirates entertained adults by showing genre scenes that were understandable to tourists speaking any language. Our children, and we were delighted, the pictures turned out very colorful and funny.
3. Excursion to the crocodile farm. We decided to go to the farm by taxi, it turned out cheaper and more convenient in time. The main thing is to arrive at the farm by 17-00, because at this time the crocodiles are fed - a very spectacular sight: a teeming crowd of predators gnaws fresh meat with a crunch. Brrr. Impressive. We also recommend traveling with four people, because in this case, you will buy a family ticket for only 30 dinars (about 700 rubles). This will also include an independent inspection of the ancient Tunisian settlement, which gives an idea of the way of life of this people.
About Taxi:
A huge number of yellow cars, the fare costs a penny, the calculation is by meter, i. e. no problem.
About souvenirs:
We recommend buying them in the nearest town of Medun. There are a large number of civilized shops with fixed prices. It is very convenient. You can buy the same thing in the market and in the hotel shops, but there the initial price is raised so high that it is then a very dubious pleasure to bargain in broken French. The store is still cheaper and nicer. In addition to thematic souvenirs, we bought leather belts for all our men (they cost about 8 dinars - about 180 rubles), and leather bags for women (from 15 to 20 dinars - 300-500 rubles). We also bought Arabic outfits - very beautiful and feminine.
About Helis-Tour employees:
The most pleasant impression about the children's animator. Inna is a sensitive, energetic kind person, with burning lights in her eyes. Even the French kids ran after her tail, not to mention ours. During the day, we did not personally use her services, but in principle, one could fearlessly entrust her child to her. In the evening for children there is a daily "children's library" with a dance program. We rarely stayed at the adult program, since adult animation is carried out exclusively in French, but sometimes there were very interesting and understandable numbers, for example, dances, magic tricks, a number with snakes.
Summary:
In terms of price-quality, I would give the hotel a solid five, even with a plus. Personally, we were very pleased. I am surprised at those people who continue to travel to our south for the same money, and more often more expensively - they are crazy!! ! ALL TO JERBA!! !
