My husband was unexpectedly given a vacation, and he really wanted to go somewhere, but very economically, since there was not enough money. Egypt and Turkey are closed, remains with a visa-free regime and a short flight, only Tunisia. The hotel was slipped to me by tour operators already in the agency. After reading bad reviews, already at home, on the same evening, burst into tears, but there was nothing to do, we eat. I was ready: I took a hair dryer with me (there is no hair dryer in the room), a small electric kettle with mugs, coffee (there are no glasses in the room, and tea and coffee are only in the lobby bar), beach towels, and so, little by little, seeds and dry fish. I must say that in Tunisia the all-inclusive diet is different from Egypt and Turkey, guides warn about this already on the bus from the airport to the hotel. In Tunisia, just 3 meals a day. At the beginning, when we arrived, there were only 20 people in the hotel. It was empty and quiet, but this did not upset us, on the contrary, even silence somewhere pleased us. Despite the emptiness of the hotel and the freedom to choose a room, they gave us the old rooms above the dining room, even the dollars invested in the passport did not help. They said there were no available rooms.... The rooms are really old, but I think at least the bed linen is clean and there are bath towels. . . food in the dining room is mostly stewed vegetables. There was a lot of meat (veal) in the first days, then, when many tourists from different countries arrived at the same time, there were problems with meat - they quickly sorted it out, and it was necessary to show dexterity in order for my husband to take a couple of pieces. But it should be noted, the food is delicious. It was also problematic for my husband to have breakfast, mostly there were eggs, scrambled eggs, stewed vegetables, one type of sausage, muesli, in general, everything that he did not eat. . but he was saved by pastries (croissants). I had no problems with food at all - I eat everything. The problem for me was at lunch, because at lunch and dinner they don’t give tea and coffee in the dining room, only in the lobby bar, and they don’t give cakes (Bizet) in the dining room, but I love them so much with coffee and they have them so delicious. . In general, having quarreled a little with the waiters, I still endured it. . . Only waiters bring drinks in the dining room, you can’t go up to the counter and order beer, wine or lemonade yourself, I tried to tame a waiter for dinars, but it’s useless, there are a lot of people, there are few waiters, so they bring drink when they’ve almost eaten. . . But a gorgeous beach and sea!!!!! ! I swam enough, I haven't swum so much in a long time. In general, rest for those who are not whimsical in food and need only the sea and the sun. Yes, and so economically, I never rested. For all 10 days spent only 100 dollars

Forget about this hotel, a hole with a capital D, you need to look for such a filthy "buffet" table in a hotel claiming to be 4 stars : (. the time when everything is already eaten and you are about to leave, if you like a bath from which water does not drain for half an hour, if you are a fan of hunting for coffee cups (they are physically NOT enough), if you like the beach in a garbage necklace, you are here: ) If you like spartan food, this hotel is for you. … More ▾ Forget about this hotel, a hole with a capital D, you need to look for such a filthy "buffet" table in a hotel claiming to be 4 stars : (. the time when everything is already eaten and you are about to leave, if you like a bath from which water does not drain for half an hour, if you are a fan of hunting for coffee cups (they are physically NOT enough), if you like the beach in a garbage necklace, you are here: ) If you like spartan food, this hotel is for you. The buffet includes 10-12 types of dishes, including garnish, fried onions without anything, lentils (you can see a local delicacy), the famous couscous reminiscent of the taste of overdried millet porridge without a gram of oil , cold pasta, which, in order to warm up and sprinkle with cheese, you need to stand in a queue of 10-15 people, as many as two kinds of fruit, stone pears and half-crumbled grapes, in general, a fairy tale
Of course, the administration is not responsible for valuables, while the answer to a request to rent a safe (for a fee, by the way) sounds - all the safes are all occupied, come in tomorrow. In a word, a fairy tale of 1001 nights.
So the guys will probably go to this hotel and to Tunisia only under execution : )

Everything is great - food, service, beach, territory, location, atmosphere. Very quiet and calm. The staff is smiling and friendly. Who wants to just passively relax - you are here. Disgusting food, rooms. Star Level - (2+)!! ! Not bad service from bartenders and waiters! Animation - sucks! The hotel rooms are all old and the same. They have a careless look. All furniture is prehistoric, not comfortable and brings complete discomfort! Rusty bath, some cracks. The door to the balcony was hard to open! But if all of you manage to get to it, you will have to sit on old plastic chairs, the table will be from the same series, and all dusty and dirty! The promised hair dryer was not in the room! They offered to take him for 1 hour for an extra. fee!! ! I clean my room badly! Refrigerator barely works! After a pipe burst in our room at night in the toilet, the entire corridor was ankle-deep in water! The damage was fixed quickly! During the day there was a disgusting smell from a wet, swollen carpet! In this connection, the door to the room practically did not open! It smelled damp! At the reception we were refused to change the room because they saw absolutely no problems!! ! During the day we came up 3 times and demanded to change the room! And only thanks to our guide, everything was arranged for us! Disgusting impression of the hotel and the country as a whole. . .

We rested with my family from 19.07. to 31.07. 2012. I always thought about this country that it is in the range of budget countries something in between Turkey and Egypt, but Tunisia turned out to be something out of the ordinary for me. I still can’t understand what plunged me into Tunisian euphoria, either all-inclusive from which I have long lost the habit, or a super company (friends flew to our hotel, with whom we rested in Ceylon a year earlier + a wonderful Siberian whom we met in El Mouradi), or the sultry sky of Tunisia, exuding some kind of universal love for others, or all of this together. However, these are emotions. . . In short, the holiday was a success. First, some practical advice - when you check in, give 10-20 bucks and ask for a room starting from the 400th - this is a new building, where the rooms are newer and more spacious. We were first settled in the 209th - it's dark (the smell of sewerage, crumpled furniture and a view of the wall), but 30 dinars an hour later transferred us to a secluded 508th with a huge balcony and sea views. Let's tip 1-2 dinars. They will not make you poorer, but for this money you buy a good mood for yourself and the smiles of those to whom you give them. Baksheesh in Africa is a delicate matter. At the end of the holiday, the hotel staff with the words Dima, my friend climbed to hug. Surprisingly, the sea and the beach were not allowed to go on excursions, and they didn’t want to. I didn’t want to look at the ruins of the Colosseum (I saw enough of this in Italy, Spain and Israel), I also ignored the 2-day Sahara 1200 km and didn’t want to change it at sea (and I traveled along it in Egypt) In my opinion, Tunisia is not a sightseeing Mecca (all tours, except maybe Carthage, and even that one for history fans, are sucked from the finger, in order to suck money out of us) and in general not a shopping country (ceramics, souvenirs, olive oil - that's probably all) So relax on the sea is crystal clear there and the beach is one of the best on the coast + good and inexpensive water and air extreme. The food is excellent, the booze is foreign, the servants are decent, I would add more - but this is personal. . . Go to the cartage - land, better after 9 pm. From 5 pm to 9 pm they have a break, I don’t know if it’s always or in Ramadan. There are few people at this time and there are few attractions (not Disneyland and not Porto Ventura, of course) But for 15 dinars on your nose, you can have fun. When we stopped at the hotel, there were 10 percent of Russians, at the end our motley lads pulled up, as usual, not without cattle. Standard scene in the lobby bar - Give me one beer and one whiskey! - Van beer, end van whiskey? - What the hell did I say? Give me one beer and one whiskey! Freaks are already tired, learn Russian. In 10 minutes. - Give Cuba rum. The staff already pours him local rum without question (because it is imported for money) and people who are already half a century old, but have not had brains, satisfied that the language barrier has been overcome and rolls off to thump. There was no desire to look at the continuation of the banquet and we went for a swim. There is a piano in this bar, you can play it. True, there is a sign on it - For professionals only, but they didn’t drive me away from there (it means that I didn’t forget everything) In the evenings, animation (rather average) then a disco. After it, we went either to a non-working bar by the beach or to the beach - we sang songs, had fun. Once a week karaoke in all languages. In summary, value for money is excellent. Relax in Tunisia!! !

From the same company rested in the quadruplets of Helnan Marina, El Hayat Sharm, Sea Gall, Steigenberger, etc. , and everywhere we liked it more! I cleaned well, the animators also did a decent job (yoga, daily programs), I didn’t get bored.

We were in this hotel last year, in general, we were more or less satisfied and decided to return again. The child had good memories of dancing with animators and we fell for his requests to go there. This was a mistake as the service deteriorated and the price increased. The fact that the hotel is shabby and with a bunch of technical faults (non-working plumbing in some rooms), we have known since last year. It's a pity that absolutely nothing has improved. We got the same number as last year, so, you won’t believe it, but the bidet, as it was only with boiling water, no cold water at all, remained the same! For a whole year they could not fix it! God spared us with problems during check-in, but many of ours were not lucky - they were settled by two or three families (I emphasize, this is not a joke and not a slander! ) in one room, motivating by a lack of places, and, a day later, they were generally sent to another hotel . The people were just shocked. The food became more primitive and monotonous, and for a couple of days in a row they were given just rotten salads. The staff got lazy and insolent. Cleaning was not every day, even regular tips did not help. Without a tip, no one will move at all, but even they are not a guarantee of good service. On the beach, the staff threw off the towels of our tourists from the most convenient places, freeing them for the nemchura and frankly rude to the Russians. At the pool with children, a middle-aged German aunt was sunbathing topless. The guests were indignant, but the staff did not react in any way. Animator Dido cursed the child with a foul language. Our tourist was robbed at a massage at the spa. On the beach, the nut dealer also offered any kind of drugs! Complained to the hotel manager - to no avail. The price compared to last year has risen by almost 80%. Even if we ignore the human factor, the hotel is simply not worth that kind of money. Most of all, it resembles an old Soviet sanatorium in its worst manifestation, filthy and peeling. Yes, the area is very green, and the beach is good. But in Hammamet, all the beaches are very good. The only conclusion is that we will not go there again and do not recommend it to others.

Stayed at the hotel from 30.04 to 8.05. 2012. on AI - all inclusive. Have been to Tunisia many times. Rooms: good cleaning and bed change almost daily (left for a dinar), separate c / a, which is convenient in itself, there is a bidet, a bath, there was no hair dryer. Terrace (there is a dryer), where you can sit with a company, refrigerator, TV set (not included). In the evening and at night, a guard was on duty in the building.
Meals: tablecloths and napkins are clean (changed constantly). The food is fresh and tasty. Drinks bought in duty free and in vain, in this hotel they matched our taste. Wine, especially Tunisian Muscat, and red, not bad, beer, gin and tonic, everything is quite drinkable. Several times, instead of lunch, we ordered (free of charge) different excellent pizzas and salads in the cafe-bar by the pool. Natural custard coffee is delicious prepared in coffee machines. The waiters and bartenders left a dinar, and they were more attentive to us.
Beach: clear sea (it was cool, but we still swam), pleasant, like velvet, sand, everything is well-groomed, there is no garbage. Yarn towels were brought with them. Sunbeds are free, but a mattress, if needed, cost 2 dinars for the whole day. And another important detail. Local merchants often walk along the beaches of Tunisia and importunately, not letting them lie down calmly, impose their goods. It didn't happen here. The beach guards only allowed them to walk along the strip along the water, and if you are interested in something, you give a sign with your hand, and then the merchant could approach you. In an unpretentious plywood building on the beach there is such a non-alcoholic bar with a refrigerator (Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite, plain and gas water).
Territory: well-groomed, the grass is soft, it was pleasant to walk barefoot by the pool, the trees and bushes with flowers were somehow pretentiously trimmed, it was pleasing to the eye.
Entertainment: by the pool - aerobics, yoga, played table tennis, after dinner we sat in the bar in the hotel lobby, danced a couple of times at the disco. I liked the cheerful but unobtrusive animator - a black boy (he calls himself Seryozha in Russian), dances beautifully Latino, etc. Internet at the reception is free.
Safe: at the reception, the cost of rent is 1 dinar per day (we took one cell for four).
The extra virgin olive oil for the home was purchased directly from the hotel. Box 800 g - 7 dinars.
Z. Y. negative reviews about this hotel suggest: either this year the level of service has increased significantly, or there was still an off-season with a small number of people, or we are unpretentious people, although we often go and not only to Tunisia and already have some their priorities in terms of optimal rest, but, in general, they did not see any shortcomings.

We were in Tunisia for the first time. We knew that October is the end of the season for them, the beginning of winds and rains. But we relied on the Russian "maybe" - maybe we will be lucky with the weather? Almost lucky, not counting 1.5 days with rain. But when the sun came out, it immediately became hot. But the wind was constantly, although it did not interfere.
Now for the hotel.
WHAT IS-1. VERY small, but well-groomed territory.
2. Accordingly, a small pool.
3. The room is spacious, old, the furniture is also old (but now they have begun to make cosmetic repairs in the rooms and on the balconies)
4. Friendly staff, smiling
5. Animation
6. Tasty food, quite varied (for lunch and dinner), a lot of different meat dishes.
7. Excellent clean beach, there are umbrellas, sunbeds
8. VERY clean sea, clean beach (according to tourists from other hotels, their sea was dirty, people didn’t even go into the water)
9. WI-FI at the reception is FREE and this is a very big plus, especially when it was raining.
10. There is a TV set in the room, but THERE IS NOT A SINGLE RUSSIAN CHANNEL! (That's where the laptop came in handy! )
11. Ice cream in the bar in the afternoon and in the restaurant in the evening. No queues and no restrictions.
WHAT IS NOT:
1. There is no safe in the room
2. There are no glasses in the room (I was really surprised! They could have put glasses! )
3. No hair dryer
4. Beach towels only as a deposit (Until the end of the holiday)
5. And mattresses on the beach only for money! The price is 2 dinars (and the dinar has an awesome exchange rate of 1 dollar-1.4 dinars).
When we rested, there were already few people (end of the season), everyone knew and recognized each other. People from different countries, Russians, French, Tunisians, Slovaks, Germans, communicated with each other, as best they could, everyone behaved normally.
SUMMARY-Hotel for a relaxing, quiet holiday.
