We stayed at this hotel at the end of August 2012.
The average hotel is nothing. the furniture in the room is old, but we were warned immediately that this is the case in all hotels in Tunisia, so they were not particularly upset. The room was given for 5, could have been better. They just squeezed at the reception, at first they gave a very poor room, put 10 bucks in, said that he could not help, and 20 bucks did a "miracle", there was more or less a room overlooking the pool and the sea. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed regularly. Although not everyone is so lucky. Tips were left only a couple of times, there were no trifles, but they still tried to beautifully put towels or add flowers. BUT given that we had a honeymoon, we did not wait for any "compliment" from the hotel : (
Food: average, the same thing every day, until the end of the holiday already tired. Salads are not tasty, soups were generally scary to try, fruits were disappointing. Such not tasty watermelons were eaten for the first time! Enjoyed the desserts and ice cream. They ate this. A couple of times there were national dishes, such as couscous. Basically, not bad. We expected to eat fish or seafood at least once, but it was generally sad with this, we could hardly find fish in one restaurant and then at Moscow prices, maybe this is due to the fact that during this period they had Ramadan, everything is closed until the evening. By the way, their wines are disgusting, like powder, it is not possible to drink.

Territory of the hotel: very green. We read reviews that it is not well-groomed, but, in my opinion, they are just finding fault. Lots of beautiful flowers, palm trees, a fountain. The pool is small. Hotel on the first line, its own beach. It's nice to walk to the sea for a couple of minutes through the greenery. The hotel itself is quiet, located 15 min. by taxi to the center (they don’t have traffic rules, they drive like monkeys), the nearest store is 20 minutes on foot. Outside the hotel, the territory resembles a wasteland, everything is dirty, there is a lot of garbage everywhere.
Beach: clean, the sea is beautiful. I liked the SPA at the hotel, for the four, they worked out their money in a quick way. They are trying to sell a cactus fruit on the beach. Do not buy! Across the street from the hotel is a free garden of these cacti! Just be careful, there are a lot of small needles. The fruit is so on its own, but for the exotic you can try.
The animation in the hotel is boring, consider that it is not there, during the day there is volleyball and aqua aerobics. Even in the hotel there is sooooo not a pleasant type, offers excursions. All the guests of the hotel go with him, if only he falls behind, tries to brazenly sell more expensive and sticks constantly. We almost hid from him.
At the expense of excursions at the hotel, do not take it, it's expensive, and if in truth, there's nothing to see. For big money they offer an excursion to the Sahara for 3 days, but we were limited in time, so we didn’t go. Everyone who was there said it was not very, boring, and even there you would have to pay for quad bikes. We took an excursion in the city, rode on a boat with pirates, at a price 2 times cheaper than offered at the hotel. The sea trip was fun, they swam in the open sea, whoever is brave, jumped from the ship itself, then they fed us more. This tour is worth the money. We went to the old city ourselves, walked around the old fortress, the sea view is super! In the new city, everything is only for tourists, there is a lot of entertainment, it’s nice to take a walk there in the evening.

Market: SHOULD BARGAIN! The local people are not greedy, they specifically say a high price, just to bargain, then they throw it off. Initially they say 200 dinars, they drop up to 70 dinars! : ) In order to better navigate the price, first go to a store with fixed prices, find out the real cost and then you can go to the market. We bought dishes with national ornaments, very beautiful, soap (for a long time it was packed in the bathroom instead of an air freshener), we also bought shampoo, also very cool.
In general, the hotel is not bad, for 4-, it could be worse : )
P. S. they speak only French and German, they understand little English, they know only 2-3 words of Russian.
