I don't like thousands of hotels, I don't like buffet - a kind of public catering. I liked the hotel for its intimacy, informal attitude towards guests, who were few, sometimes up to 10-12 people in the restaurant. The atmosphere is more like a family. The rooms are different, but we were given a very good one (507) without any problems. The guys at the reception are friendly, they speak English well, the head waiter speaks English in the restaurant, the waiters understand everything. Great chef, good service, all questions and problems were immediately resolved. To the sea (the hotel has a very good clean beach) a few minutes walk. We were lucky with the weather - the sea was amazing: clean as a tear, warm, fine sand (it is better to enter the water on the right at the fence - yellow balls, because there are several stones in the center under the water). Vacationing with my husband. A good Russian-speaking company has chosen: intelligent people, easy to communicate with, approximately the same social circle and interests.
True, they observed scenes of the arrival of "cool aunts from the trading business of the town of Gadyukino", with their "Hennesy" in a restaurant, with monstrous aplomb and the same monstrous rudeness. None of the 3 main dishes offered to me satisfied them - "I want kharcho ... ", they shouted loudly, demanded dietary food, which, of course, is not provided by the kitchen. Naturally, they couldn’t speak except in Russian, they were indignant why they weren’t answered in “great and mighty ... ”, in general, there was a concert. To the credit of the hotel staff, they were treated politely and with a smile, the cook prepared something specially for them, then the hotel guide explained to them that their claims were groundless and could not be satisfied. With whomever of the Tunisians we talked, the impression of them is the best. And we said goodbye to our beloved waiter Mahmud as if we were our own, promising to come again.
Even the merchants speak (minimal, of course) all the major European languages; in Russian, however, they only quote the winged slang of our tourists, without understanding the meaning; often this is not just an unacceptable tone, but also curses. In order not to run into these "compliments", I spoke only in English in sales outlets, and everyone behaved impeccably. We went to the Sahara - a lot of impressions, but a lot has been written about it. A few words about thalassotherapy: I am a doctor with many years of experience, I decided to try these pleasures for myself. Nothing supernatural: Turkish bath, scrub (the upper epithelium is cleaned with soap and massage), 2 massages - one "under the shower" (warm sea rain falls on top of the couch), the second - with heated oils, each for 20 minutes, after which - automatic hydromassage in a special bath (as in most of our resorts). All this is very nice, but, in my opinion, disproportionately expensive - it cost $ 140.

And what struck me was the absolute medical unprofessionalism, extremely low medical support for these services, a purely commercial organization, although such a load is far from harmless - this is powerful intensive reflexology. An appointment with a so-called doctor costs about 15 dollars, lasts 3 minutes, 2 questions: "what are you sick of" and "have there been any operations. " Even the pressure is not measured, no documentation is kept - on a piece of paper passed to the sister, your name and a set of procedures are written; even a check is not issued for the paid money - no information about visiting the salon, no proof of being here. I witnessed complications in 2 women: a hotel neighbor told me that when she left the salon she felt ill: "she felt dizzy, everything went dark", the doctor gave her sweet water to drink !! ! , saying that it was apparently a hungry swoon. Doctors will understand that this is utter unprofessionalism.
The second woman fainted in front of my eyes - an elderly lady (over 60) (by the way, there are enough such patients - there is an advertisement for rejuvenation with thalassotherapy, and children buy vouchers for their beloved mothers). This woman was already undergoing procedures for 5 days, 4-5 daily, this time she was wrapped in hot algae all over her body (wrapped up to her neck), when she became ill, her sister did not immediately enter, began to frantically open her, wash off the dirt, then, throwing a dressing gown on her, pulled her into the common recreation area, the doctor slowly approached, held his hand on the pulse and left, I thought that he had gone to get the apparatus to measure blood pressure, but he never came again, and the woman was reclining with bluish lips, her eyes closed , shortness of breath and thready pulse. I tried to get a doctor and help her, but in vain.
By the way, the price-quality ratio is simply excellent: for 15 days of stay with a flight, transfer, hotel guide (a very nice guy) they paid only 34 thousand for two (t / f "Russian Express", host - "Cartege +".
