Good day to everyone who is going to visit beautiful Tunisia! Choosing a direction for the next vacation, I accidentally stumbled upon Tunisia. And I was immediately surprised by the price. We can say - almost free. Therefore, we flew with the feeling of coming not the most pleasant surprises)) Well, it turned out that the rest turned out to be fantastic!
The hotel is very simple, there is absolutely nothing for the discerning tourist to do there ...but this hotel has its own special, family-friendly atmosphere! Friendly and helpful staff, good rooms...in addition to our own, we saw a few more...all spacious, stylized in an oriental theme...somewhere there is a large balcony, somewhere not at all, but all the rooms are just wonderful.
On the first day, we found out that the water drain in the sink was not working, we didn’t get upset, we went to the nearest hardware store, bought the right product and the problem was solved) One of the advantages of the hotel is a beautiful patio, where it’s nice to sit after dinner, listen to relaxing music , chat...in addition, there is no wi-fi in the rooms, you can use the Internet only at the reception and just in this courtyard. A little about nutrition. Breakfasts are very meager and do not change: coffee, cocoa, tea to choose from, a baguette, an individual piece of butter and a little jam. Yes, and a glass of a strange, heavily watered down drink. Dinners are the complete opposite. There are three menu options to choose from. This is European cuisine, local ...portions are large, everything is cooked very tasty. Drinks at dinner are paid. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can have a very tasty lunch for little money. Seafood dishes are especially tasty there.

And the portions are huge. Pasta can be safely ordered one for two, or even for three. Now about the beach. More precisely, in the beginning about the road to the beach. In order to get to it, you need to cross two roads. The distance to the beach is 200 meters, but the traffic is busy and there are no crossings or traffic lights. The hotel guide warned that numerous young people on mopeds often snatched handbags from tourists, so be careful. Further, a walk to the beach will reveal very picturesque landfills and mountains of garbage ...and moreover, this is not just household garbage - bottles of paper, but clothes, construction waste, a discarded refrigerator, etc. But this is the trouble of the whole country. In the capital, in the very center, the situation is not better, but in places worse. Well, to complete the picture - dilapidated and abandoned buildings))) Now the beach itself is equipped with sunbeds, beach chairs and fungi. Clean, with a security guard, the Internet periodically catches from a nearby hotel.
The sea is also clean, not very deep and very warm! Yes, I must say about the location of the hotel - almost in the center of the road between the old part of Hammamet and the new one - Yasmina Hammamet. And there, and there you can take a taxi. To Yasmin for 6 dirhams, to Medina - for 3. In Yasmin, souvenir shops with fixed prices, a beautiful promenade, a port ...In Medina, an old fortress, souvenir shops with pestering sellers, a Muslim cemetery and, in fact, everything ...I recommend to girls go to Nabeul. It also has its own medina, no different from the one in Hammamet, but there is a wonderful CERINA shop with fantastic cosmetics. We reached the Medina in Nabeul, entered the archway, walked forward a little and there will be a store on the right side. Local currency is accepted there, as well as dollars and euros. The funds are really very good, already tested on myself) A little more about the location of the hotel.
Opposite there is a small grocery store, with a very strange opening hours. If you need to buy some small change, you need to go to the left of the hotel and on both sides of the road you can buy water, bread, fruit, cigarettes. The nearest supermarket La Royale, which has a much larger selection of products and alcohol, is located somewhere 800m from the hotel, they also got out, crossed the road and left ....Well, in the same place, from the hotel to the left, just do not cross the road - the fantastic confectionery Blue Moon, where divine cakes are sold for mere pennies! Now a little about the excursion "Carthage-Sidi-bou-Said". It costs 75 dirhams. First stop in the capital to visit the world's largest mosaic museum...what can I say, not impressed. Next is Carthage. Interesting history, beautiful view of the bay, shade of olive trees and date palms... beautiful!
Then lunch in the capital, a buffet, further along the route, an observation deck near the Church of St. Louis - a very beautiful view from there and, the final stop, Sidi Bou Said. Beautiful town, unique and unforgettable! I recommend everyone to see it. Have a nice trip, friends)
