Leaving the hotel, you can walk along the promenade like in Nice, you can walk along the main street, where the Medina was built especially for tourists, there is the Carthage Land amusement park - for those with children, a lot of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. We looked at the country by taking two excursions: 1. Tunisia, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said; 2. Journey to the Sahara. The country after the revolution - all this can be seen on the streets, everywhere is dirty, as they explained to us that the public service does not work. But I liked the excursions very much, especially the Sahara, albeit tiring, but after driving 1300 km in two days, driving jeeps in the desert and reaching the place where Star Wars was filmed, feeling the drying desert wind, visiting a real oasis with "Chernobyl" size vegetation, camel riding, staying at home with a real Berber woman who treats you with homemade cakes with olive oil, and the stunning amphitheater "El Jem", where the Gladiator was filmed, and the impressions of visiting such a historical building have not left until now, one can only say Hurray for emotions from experienced. I can only add - do not buy anything without a fixed price, because. overestimation is sometimes tens of times. And be prepared for the fact that everyone wants a tip for any of your "sneezes", but this is already at your discretion.
The sea was cool during this period, I don’t even know, probably 17-18 degrees, and 23 degrees outside, but we swam)
