I want to share my impressions about the rest in this hotel and about Tunisia in general. My husband and I chose Tunisia among Tunisia, Egypt and Turkey, primarily because of our knowledge of the French language (it is their second official language), this helped to erase the language barrier and understand more the country, people and culture.
People's opinions about Tunisia are divided into two categories - those who are delighted, and those who never go there again. The former, as a rule, go not for European cleanliness and well-groomedness, but for the color of the country, a peculiar, sometimes even shocking way of life (a lot of garbage on the streets, a feeling of unfinished houses, a little chaos - this repels the second category of people), but an unforgettable flavor , gorgeous sea, the smell of blooming
palm trees, historical sites, museums, people's way of life - it's mesmerizing. I was very impressed by Cape Africa, where the Russian film "Apostle" was filmed, the Muslim cemetery - there is no feeling of fear, only peace ...

Indeed, the problem of most tourists from Russia is the consumer attitude, they say, I'm on vacation, I collected a year for a ticket, and now you, lackeys, serve me! ! ! It was disgusting to watch. And when many Russians were indignant that they were being ignored, they threw tantrums in the hotel, this did not surprise me. Once we got into a conversation with one of the hotel guards,
so he told us that the Russians perceive us as animals. Absolutely the opposite impression about the Ukrainians, he was very surprised by our knowledge of French and said that in Tunisia there are enough families with Ukrainian wives. We behaved there as it should - we are guests, always bonjour with a smile, and even at the reception they changed our room the next day with a view of a small piece of the sea at no extra charge, although we paid for the usual one (-2 floor due to the pool and storage rooms very raw). In the hotel restaurant, we also got acquainted with the waiters.
One of them was driving home to the city during a break, saw us going to a taxi, stopped to take us to the city center for free, although it was much closer for him to go home : )
the bartenders are very cool, we even became friends with one.
We ended up in Ramadan, and I really have a sense of respect for the work of the staff (they could not even drink water from dawn to dusk, and the cooks cook all day, the waiters in the restaurant run between tables littered with food, with
tourists laying oversized plates). Unfortunately, the Russians were immediately visible! Italians, French, Germans calmly stand in line and wait, when suddenly a hysterical woman rushes, pushes everyone away with a cry: "Vasya, how many cutlets do you want to take? " And the inscription ONLY IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE "Do not take out food and drinks from the restaurant!!!

"I was shocked when the granny shoveled the entire basket of peaches before taking one, I did not hesitate to make a remark to her in Russian, she did not expect !!!! ! ! ! Then the girl dropped a salad fork on the floor, picked it up and put it in again there, telling a friend not to take that salad !!!!! ! And then in the hall you hear indignation that you got sick and blamed the staff that there is unsanitary conditions !!! ! ! This is a lie, my stomach is not the strongest, I took it with me a suitcase of medicines for this case, but for two weeks I ate everything - super, very tasty! , they were taken out whole like animals on a spit and everyone who wanted to cut off fresh fish, meat-sea. Even PORK was given (this is in a Muslim country in RAMADAN) - deserves special respect. Every day melons,
watermelons, nectarines, peaches, grapes, plums, apples, pears, dates...MASSIVE SWEETS!!!!! ! !
I remembered my childhood, when my mother baked a cake, she never allowed me to try the cream so that there was enough for cakes, but here it’s just heaven - huge plates with custard, chocolate cream, whipped cream are set apart separately - eat as much as you like: ))))) And again - the French put a little food on their plate, if something is added, the Russians drag three plates, then everything remains. Women under the wardrobe cling to the hands of the waiters, climb to them, the men force them to drink: "You respect me !!! " they were not shy about topless (not even sunbathing somewhere under an umbrella), but to build a sandcastle on the shore, and in all sorts of poses! ! ! in general I was ashamed of them!! ! ! !
Although the hotel is not new (Certainly not a European level -5 stars), it is tidy, cleaned, washed every day, friendly staff, aroma lamps with the smell of jasmine burn everywhere in the hotel (even in public toilets), very relaxing, soothing. THALASOTHERAPY IS A SEPARATE TOPIC. LOVERS OF MASSAGE, WRAPINGS, SEA MUD, ALGAE, BEAUTY SALONS AND HAMAMS - ONE SHOULD GO. It was my first time, so I took a three-day course, the doctor is Russian-speaking and you can negotiate a price with him.
THE SEA-DREAM, THE TALE, THE MEDUSA HAVE NOT SEEN, ONLY THE FISH AT A DEPTH OF THREE METERS (MIRROR WATER). In the evening, the beach is always guarded, the guards even ask the locals to leave there, only merchants (this is a separate caste of people: ))) sit and wait for their victims until late in the evening: ))) put an ali-babu (headdress) on you and try to get off for now don't buy : )
Opposite the hotel and nearby there are many shops with fixed prices - it still turns out cheaper than in the market or on the beach, where, with the biggest bargaining, you still lose : )

During the day on the beach, there is indignation that the sand is dirty, and people themselves ate an apple and into the sand, gobies, plastic cups,
bones, and the beach workers then run the sand through a sieve every evening, which is really like FLOUR!!! ! !
In some restaurants oriented to Western people (we got acquainted with Czechs, Slovaks, Germans, British, French, Italians), along with the FREE CHILDREN system, the RUSSIAN FREE system is being introduced.
IF YOU DON'T TAKE ALL THESE LITTLE INCONVENIENCES FOR WHICH IT WAS A SHAME, THE HOLIDAY WAS AN UNCLOCKABLE, WITH MANY PLEASANT ACQUAINTANCES, SOME OF WHICH GROWLED INTO FRIENDSHIP : )))

P. S. PEOPLE, TREAT OTHERS AS PEOPLE ON HOLIDAYS, BEHAVE YOURSELF AS GUESTS AND NOT AS HOSTS, AND THEN YOU WILL BE TREATED AS WELCOME GUESTS AND YOU WILL BE OK!!!! ! !
ALL OF THIS WISH!! ! ! !
