Arrived with my husband on 7.09. 13. to Tunisia. We were supposed to check into the Royal Thalasso Monastir 5 * hotel, for some unknown reason we were settled in the Amir Palace Hotel 4 * (although it says on it that it is 5 *, although it doesn’t smell like 3 *). We were told that this is the fault of our guide from Kyiv, which I very much doubt. The hotel is large, the most beautiful thing in it is the stairs and that's it! All shabby, the carpets in the corridors are dirty, the rooms have broken sinks, toilets, the shower is leaking, the air conditioner is leaking (this is not about one room, each room is different). The sofas near the reception are falling apart! The service is terrible!! ! Come on tea, don’t give it, it only works for a few people! They don’t like Russian speakers very much (you are from Ukraine or from Russia or from Belarus - on the drum). In the early days, they were looking for their own forks in the dining room, they had to sit down at dirty tables, but as soon as the French, Poles, Americans, Germans stopped by.... - immediately everything changed instantly, and the tables are clean, served, and they go to pour coffee. In general, the hotel does not even justify its 5 * by half! About the sea, the sea is excellent! The beach is tolerably clean, but you need to borrow sunbeds, if the weather is good, then preferably from 7 in the morning! Swimming pool normal. Huge lines at the bar. The most worthwhile in Tunisia is a two-day excursion to the Sahara. If you want to relax, I advise you to collect a little more money and fly to other countries!
