The hotel is located 10 km from the center of Monastir. The hotel first opened its doors to guests in 1994, and the last renovation was carried out in 2013. From here you can easily get to the main attractions of the city. The hotel is suitable for families with children.More →

Hotel
- The hotel is presented as 5 *, but in fact it does not pull in this category. Maximum 3*. In appearance, of course, everything is beautiful, but if you look closely, you can see a lot of interesting things - in the hall the sofas are terribly shabby, the carpet probably never knew wet cleaning, chairs and tables on the balconies are not wiped at all. It was scary to go there!
- The rooms are hardly cleaned. The maximum is to change the towels and sometimes take out the trash. They left a tip, but it didn't help. In general, we did not mess with the cleaning of the rooms. Everything was so clean with us and we didn’t demand to change linen and towels every day, but it was unpleasant when a person took a tip and didn’t even deign to take out the garbage, and there was a decent amount of it! I'm not talking about the vacuum cleaner and wet cleaning!
Okay, close your eyes to this.
- we arrived at 21-00 and we were immediately settled, but who arrives after 24-00, then the hotel may think that you will not come at all and this room is being sold! Our friends had such a terrible situation. They were not settled at 03-00, although these days were paid. And they got into the room only at 10-00, that is, they slept on sofas in the lobby! Horror is simple! As a token of compensation, they were offered a room with a sea view at no extra charge.
- when we settled, I immediately said that I wanted a sea view, but the administrator said that I had to pay $ 20 per day. I refused, then he sincerely said that our room was bad. It made me laugh and I decided to check it out. The room itself is not bad. Thankfully everything worked. Well, the view from the window was not very good. But most importantly, it was so quiet that no one bothered us. I mean the animation and the screams of the children. The room had a view of the airport. Airplanes do not fly there often, so do not be afraid.
Everything is fine there, and it’s even interesting to look at the palm grove outside the hotel and behind the planes)))

- be sure to use the safe, it is fortunately free. There were no cases of theft during our stay, but I heard a lot of complaints from other hotels that things and money were lost, who did not use the safe.
- if you don’t want to spend money on an iron, take a travel iron with you or prepare your wallet, since this service is paid.
- You can rent towels. But the system is not the most convenient. You leave a deposit of 20 dinars (approx. 13 dollars) for one towel and pick it up on the last day. But they must have time to spend, since it is forbidden to export paper money! In general, it is better to bring your own towels.
- Animation in the hotel is, but we did not get accustomed to it. It was boring! But we went to the beach and walked after dinner admiring the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.

Restaurant
- the service is very specific.
We are not capricious tourists at all, but we did not tolerate impudence on the part of the attendants. And there in the restaurant - it's in the order of things. There were several conflicts with the waiters.
-when you come for breakfast at 09-00, it is very difficult to find clean cutlery, cups and even hot water. The water in the cooler is also running out. Fortunately, they respond to your requests and bring everything. But you have to wait a little. In general, we quickly got used to it.

- if you have half board, then drinks are not included in the price. And they are much more expensive in the hotel than in the shop across the street. We took half board and didn't go hungry. Breakfasts from 07:00 to 10:00, dinners from 18:30 to 21:00. at lunchtime they didn’t go anywhere to eat, as there was enough breakfast and, of course, it was possible to take something out of the restaurant in silence. Of course, this is forbidden, but if you quietly put a peach in a bag, then nothing will happen)))) It's good that at least for breakfast you can drink tea, coffee and water.
- Breakfast in the restaurant is bad. I counted on cheeses so much, but they simply couldn’t even be smelled, let alone eaten! Sausage and frankfurters - pure soy and nuclear color! We ate eggs and vegetables. Of course, they didn’t have enough imagination to make omelettes with different additives! I thought that we would crow there in 12 days) But they have a better situation with sweets. Any croissants and buns. You can pour honey, jam and chocolate.
- Dinners are amazing! We were satisfied! Lots of meats, side dishes, sweets, ice cream and fruits. Everything here was 5, if you do not pay attention to the waiters. It feels like they are all under the influence of weed! (even offered to buy hash from them) They don't behave very nicely. For example, for dinner, one waiter can come up 5 times and point on his fingers and mumble something. In the end, we realized that he was giving us compliments. And the other waiter of pure water impudent. His name is Mohammed.
He generally allowed himself to whisper in the ear of the girls it was not clear what. And once we told him that we would not order alcohol and drinks, as their prices are very high, and then he made fun of us that a cup of tea costs $ 100 and it is very expensive! I was shocked! It was such that he began to transplant from one place to another. And then my patience ran out! He got me! Then he was more polite, but still impudence has not gone away.
- the dishes in the restaurant are lousy washed. Dirty cups came across a few times. Very unpleasant. And I was constantly afraid that I would not pick up any infection in a restaurant.
- if you go on an excursion before breakfast or leave at night, you will not be given anything with you. They have such a system. I tried to explain that it was not right and that I had paid for breakfast.
But they told me that they were worried about my health and that dry rations might go bad on the road and it would be their fault that I got poisoned, so they do not provide dry rations.

Be sure to take excursions. Without them, you will not recognize Tunisia.
We took Tunis-Carthage-Sidi Bou Said and Sahara for 2 days
They were very satisfied. Only during excursions drinks are not included in the price. And also the Sahara does not include riding on camels, jeeps and a horse cart. If you take all of the above, then the Sahara will cost $ 200 per person. Ripoff of course! But it's worth going there! You will not regret!
We went to Monastir and Sousse by taxi. I really liked Monastir. I advise you to go there and walk around the center and especially go to Ribat. You will not regret! We didn't like Suss at all. Very big, dirty and uncomfortable. And what smells there! Horror is simple! You can lose consciousness on the spot!

The sea was gorgeous until jellyfish appeared.
Yes, not yet as harmless as we have in the Crimea. They look like algae, but the sting takes a very long time to pass. As it turned out, they sail in September. Therefore, in September is not the best time to go there.
Well, if you do not pay attention to them, then the sea is cool. Warm, relatively clean, sometimes calm, sometimes violent. The beauty! And the sand is absolutely beautiful! I don't want to get out of it. It is like semolina, very gentle and clean. But, unfortunately, Tunisians are not the cleanest people and pollute the environment very much. Which is embarrassing to tears. In the sea you can see bottles, bags, cigarette butts, cellophane of various sizes, diapers and all sorts of leftovers. Horror is simple!
In general, when compared with Dessole Ruspina Resort, it borders on our hotel, it was cleaner there. The people there did a great job! We came to the beach at 06-30 and saw how they clean the sand from cigarette butts and other dirt with rakes. We didn't have that.
But we had a different system.
If you do not want to get up early to take a seat with a sunbed, you can negotiate with a mattress pad and it will fill you up with a seat. You just need to leave him your towel and give him a tip or bring something from the bar)
We did not experiment with this, as we ourselves got up and hurried to admire the sea.

All in all, my husband and I were positive. All the minuses are forgotten, but vivid impressions of Tunisia remain. Before going there, I re-read many sites and reviews and I was not very upset by the chaos that they were doing. Of course it's annoying, but what can you do! This is Africa!

We were supposed to check into the Royal Thalasso Monastir 5 * hotel, for some unknown reason we were settled in the Amir Palace Hotel 4 * (although it says on it that it is 5 *, although it doesn’t smell like 3 *). We were told that this is the fault of our guide from Kyiv, which I very much doubt. The hotel is large, the most beautiful thing in it is the stairs and that's it! All shabby, the carpets in the corridors are dirty, the rooms have broken sinks, toilets, the shower is leaking, the air conditioner is leaking (this is not about one room, each room is different). The sofas near the reception are falling apart! The service is terrible!! ! Come on tea, don’t give it, it only works for a few people! They don’t like Russian speakers very much (you are from Ukraine or from Russia or from Belarus - on the drum). In the early days, they were looking for their own forks in the dining room, they had to sit down at dirty tables, but as soon as the French, Poles, Americans, Germans stopped by.... - immediately everything changed instantly, and the tables are clean, served, and they go to pour coffee. In general, the hotel does not even justify its 5 * by half! About the sea, the sea is excellent! The beach is tolerably clean, but you need to borrow sunbeds, if the weather is good, then preferably from 7 in the morning! Swimming pool normal. Huge lines at the bar. The most worthwhile in Tunisia is a two-day excursion to the Sahara. If you want to relax, I advise you to collect a little more money and fly to other countries!

The sight is funny =) Eternally grumbling people with bellies obviously wanting European service from an Arab country for their 3 kopecks. I can’t say ANYTHING bad about the hotel, but not new furniture, BUT, it is good and comfortable and how can this affect the rest? ! I also liked the food very much, although many did not like it, because there are only 15 types of hot dishes, 10 salads and 20 desserts, how can this be arranged, by the way, everything is very tasty. Hall amazes for him, all the minor minuses can be sincerely forgiven, the service is excellent, I really liked that on the river. they give a cake with candles) a trifle but nice, the beach is excellent, sunbeds are all free for all inhabitants. Having driven to the center of Sousse, you begin to appreciate the quiet and peaceful Amir like a diamond!! ! The room was spacious. Therefore, I highly advise, and most importantly, never read any bullshit in a review like "there was a scratch, and there was a cigarette butt lying around. "

We arrived at the hotel at eleven o'clock in the evening, the first impression upon entering the building was "Super!!! ", but everything faded when we entered the room - the room was large... and that's all his dignity, the air conditioner roared like a tractor, but there was practically no coolness, the refrigerator was broken, a terrible sewer stench was drawn from the balcony. We asked to change the room. They gave us another, apparently, they wanted to scare us so that we would come to our senses and return to the first one : ) The second room was unusually small in size with a terrible smell, a broken refrigerator, but a working air conditioner : ) This option did not suit us either. The third room we were sent to was already occupied!! ! Then they began to hint to us that for a good room we have to pay extra $ 20 per day or pay the administrator $ 30! Patience came to an end and they noticed it : ))) And a miracle happened!! ! We were immediately given a room with a sea view, with a working air conditioner and a refrigerator, with beautiful furniture, a plasma TV (although there is nothing to watch), even with a bidet in the toilet : ) In general, we settled in only after two hours... tired, but unconquered! ! ! : )))
The sea pleased with its calmness and soft silky sand : ) But even here there was a lot of "BUT" There were really camel poop mixed with horse poop along the shore : ))) In a week they were removed once, and then because there was a storm and a huge amount of algae was thrown ashore. But this is the smallest trouble of the beach compared to the invasion of the local population. Everything would be fine, but they leave behind mountains of watermelon and melon peels, scraps in the sand. It is very unpleasant that there is no peace in the sea, sexually preoccupied, from 8-10 years old, Arab boys do not allow you to swim, swim in peace... And it makes no difference to them whether you are 20 years old or 60. It is better to go with a man, this stops them a little.
Nutrition. You won't go hungry, but you can't compare with Egypt. Breakfast is the usual European, like everywhere else - eggs, pastries, three types of cheese, vegetables, yogurts... Dinner is richer, several types of meat (they say delicious, I didn’t eat), pilaf, various potatoes (boiled, fried, stewed), stewed vegetables (zucchini, blue ones, peppers, carrots), salads, cakes, ice cream. Fruits (watermelons, melons, peaches, quinces, dates). In general, it's okay, you can live : )
Entertainment. Animation for children and adults, disco... But I can’t say anything, because I didn’t attend.
The pool is big, clean, great!
In general, you can relax, especially if you are with children, the sea is shallow and warm.

The lobby is clean and comfortable, but on the floors, when you get out of the elevator, there were bulls lying around... in general, they didn’t clean very well, although I saw that the cleaners went and cleaned almost every day... well, maybe they cleaned like that...
The staff is very friendly and not intrusive, they even remember what you usually drink and sometimes bring it yourself when you go to the bar, in the restaurant they also bring to your table what you often drink (in a couple of days we had a couple of glasses of beer at lunch and dinner : ))
The hotel area is small, clean, but not very green (there was an oasis of greenery right next to the hotel....but here, of course, it’s a bit bald) fountains work (although not all : ))) )
But the beach pleased me, they clean it (unlike the neighboring ones), because it constantly nails grass to the shore
The beach worker is always ready to bring you a mattress for a sunbed. . .
In terms of nutrition, it’s delicious, although it doesn’t shine with variety, there were constantly fruits: watermelons, melons, peaches, plums, Once: dates
Yes, and meat dishes could be more (2 maximum 3)
seafood: only fish
from the sinuses, I can add that the safe did not work (the battery ran out) spoke three times at the reception, the worker came and checked it said that it didn’t work, we’ll fix it, don’t worry..... so no one came
the ancient TV began to turn off and not turn on... wrote about this and about the safe to our hotel guide (or like him) from the tour operator, it’s just that we weren’t alone with the safe, she said that she would tell the workers about it....well, she didn’t say roofing felts , if they didn’t give a fuck... I didn’t contact them anymore

They flew with Tunisian airlines, it was very shocking over Kiev, they brought a bun with milk sausage and cheese, cola, they thought there would be something else, but no . . We flew to Enfid Airport, which is beyond Sousse. While we waited for all the tourists and took everyone away, we were the last ones, we spent 2.5 hours. We missed lunch, but there were no snacks, we went to dinner already very hungry. About the kitchen: breakfast is very poor, sometimes there weren’t even eggs, they probably came early. Lunch, dinner - more varied - a couple of types of meat, fish, once they gave mussels and octopuses, different side dishes, salads - terrible in appearance, they ate only cucumbers and tomatoes. Pastries and sweets are good, from fruits - peaches, oranges, watermelons and melons. The dishes are not very clean, the waiter ran to the bar for drinks and it was somehow inconvenient not to give anything for it, so they gave a dinar at dinner. Once we went to a pizzeria and an ala carte restaurant - we liked it (this is included in all enclusive).
The hotel is located on the highway, there are only hotels nearby, there is nowhere to walk, you need to go to the cities of Monastir and Sousse by taxi or bus. The cities are dirty, the stench is everywhere, souvenirs were bought in shopping centers, there is nothing to buy in the medina (bazaar) - sherpotrep.
The territory of the hotel is small, the beach is normal, beautiful white sand, relatively clean, in comparison with the city beaches, which are on both sides of ours, the sea is shallow, the day is clean, the day is with algae, jellyfish were not seen. The beach has sunbeds, umbrellas, but mattresses and towels in the morning had to wait, we arrived at 8.30 and there was no one else.
The pool is medium in size, deep, there is a very small children's pool. In the morning, local children trained in the pool, so they went there after lunch, there were no problems with sunbeds.
There is one bar by the pool, showers by the pool (no on the beach), toilet. In the bar, alcohol was diluted with water 1:1. In the evenings there is animation. And in the beautiful lobby of the Marrakesh bar, it's not so diluted there.
Wi-fe is paid, it’s cheaper to go to Sousse and look for free, which we did, at the same time you can take a walk.
The staff is friendly.
We ordered quad bikes at the hotel, bargained for a long time, rode through olive groves for 1.5 hours, I really liked it, an interesting track, you ride as much as you want and as you want, all sorts of ditches, steep slopes, incomparable with Egypt where everyone goes obediently one by one.

Please advise 4 * hotels with their own beaches. And Who was in Amir, how is the entrance to the sea, sandy or stones? What are the pros and cons of the hotel? And who was in June, how are things with jellyfish in the sea? Thanks.
