Yesterday I returned..... I don’t want to remember, but I’ll leave a review anyway!
The most pleasant memory of this vacation is the flight and transfer.
We arrived at the hotel, settled immediately, but for $ 10 (I myself suggested that I didn’t want to wait until 14:00 for the settlement - 8 hours). They didn’t even offer to bring the suitcases, where the elevator was not prompted, the attendant pretended that he didn’t understand English, although later we spoke to him in English, he understands everything! Okay, on the 4th floor on foot with a child, the suitcases were wounded. Room overlooking the sea on the left and the airport in front. It was very beautiful, the sea on the left, in front of us the night lights of the airport. Planes did not interfere at all, although we slept at night with the balcony door open (or maybe it's because my childhood was spent near the airport)))

Wi-Fi - one name, even the network does not catch. Buy a local operator card from your guide, enough for a week - viber-whatsapp calls, facebook, instagram are not limited.
The room is not bad, everything worked, the plumbing is ok, the air conditioner is old, but it cooled well, the mattress is like new (did not check, but without deflections), the bed linen is clean, it is 100 years old at lunchtime, just yellow. And they did the last shift - everything is stained! Although every other day I left 1 dollar for cleaning (1 dinar is enough there). Cleaning daily, change of towels and linen daily.
Dining - to say the restaurant does not turn the tongue. The tablecloths are not dirty, they are VERY DIRTY!! ! They don't even try to remove them! I wanted to eat standing up! The plates are dirty (we wiped them with napkins, cutlery with food leftovers. Often you had to wait for a plate and a fork-knife for 15 minutes while the waiters walked, collected from the tables, washed, and then brought them “clean”. Yes, don’t count on a snack bar, there is only a hill of croissants from breakfast and that is limited. Do not be shy, take food from the canteen, otherwise from 12:30 to 18:30 (dinner) you will be hungry. And in the bar you can be stupidly ignored, pretending that they do not understand that you I saw a woman asking for a glass of wine - he doesn't understand "wine", he doesn't understand "wine" either, and then turned his back on her altogether.
Hotel in the tourist area, i. e. there is no establishment nearby where you can eat except at the hotel - no restaurants, no cafes, no just a market-market.
The food is sooo scarce and spicy. Rest mainly Europeans, but they do not care. I have the impression that I came back with anemia. Fruit was given only for dinner, and then so little that they often did not have time. Watermelon, melon, peaches - everything!
The territory is beautiful, more well-groomed than not.

Swimming pools - DO NOT SWIM IN THEM!!! ! Before my eyes, at 6:30 in the morning, when I was walking to the beach, a hotel worker poured a bucket of bleach into the pool!! ! Half an hour later, children were already splashing around. As a doctor, I felt bad looking at this! Do I need to say that neither I nor my daughter went to the pools and slides? )
The beach is its own, the first line, the sand is not cleaned, if it storms and causes algae - do not expect them to be quickly removed. Umbrellas are old, dust is pouring from them (free of charge). The sunbeds are old, cracked (free of charge). Beach towels - deposit 10 dinars per one at the reception. Fruits are sold along the beach - take it boldly, just bargain. Yes, more expensive than in the Medina or in the market, but they were brought to you right on the beach! If there is a desire - the city is not far away, you can go and buy. BUT! There are NO refrigerators in the rooms! More precisely, they are, I myself saw - they are piled up in a back room.
Safe - reception, 30 dinars deposit for the key, 3 dinars use per day.
Hair dryer - deposit.
TV remote - deposit.
Excursions - take it boldly, especially if the guide is Shakid (he speaks excellent Russian, tells very interestingly).
Monastir is a beautiful town, go boldly.
Sousse is a dump (forgive the locals, but how can you live there??? ), we spent half a day there and not a single photo! There was just nowhere to do it. Also accidentally went to their local beach - do not do this, do not leave the tourist center! We really (two women with a child) became scared, like they got into the black quarter of New York (((We fled from there at full speed.
And most importantly, locals and Algerians come for the weekend. The hotel is turning into Shanghai in the worst sense of the word. Screaming mothers, ill-mannered children who can just pick up and throw sand at you (I saw this, a very unpleasant picture). They built entire gypsy camps there - an umbrella on an umbrella, tables with food and drink, on each other's heads, in short, goodbye peace.

The sea is the only thing that left a pleasant impression (what a human hand has not touched) - straight white in the morning, azure in the afternoon, and just blue in the evening! Absolutely beautiful, clean. Although, after the invasion of the Arabs, wet wipes and plastic glasses were also met.
SPA in the hotel - great guys work. Got a lot of fun! I met the owner (Maxim in ours) - it turned out to be my colleague, a dermatologist. SPA recommend, really relax!
If you decide to go, turn on the "Polyanna syndrome", as I call it) Look for the pluses and enjoy the sea.
In conclusion - do not believe if they prove that a 4 * hotel is a very weak three! I wouldn't even give a three. I don’t understand how I could believe and go here. And I am by no means a snob and there is no crown on my head! But such blatant disrespect for the tourist (sorry, they make money on us) I have never seen anywhere!
Thank God that on the 4th day he sent me a girl with whom we met and spent the rest of the vacation - we went to Sousse together and spent fasting evenings by the sea.
