About independent movement: we - a husband, a child (4 years old) and I traveled from the hotel to Monastir and Sousse by a regular bus along with ordinary residents of these cities. Bus #52. Stop near the entrance to the hotel to go 20 min - Monastir, 30 - Sousse. It's hot, cramped, but 660 we grind, which is a little less than 6 UAH per person. There is something to see, the main thing is to see how others live.
In a supermarket, it is more profitable to pay with a card, then the exchange rate of the dinar is according to the NBU.
About the hotel:
The flight was delayed for 4 hours, we got to the hotel at about one in the morning. Check-in took 10 minutes. Prepare a $5 tour fee for 7 days, fee for adults only. We were led along the corridors for a long time and we ended up at #520.1st floor.
The room is average, 2 small beds 1 double. Shower, toilet, all in mediterranean style. I was struck by the marble floor, the bed itself is made like a pedestal lined with tiles.
We woke up and went to explore the area. It is not big but clean and comfortable. There are really few sun loungers, they do it early in the morning, this is for seals, we swim all the time, this does not upset us.
Canteen: breakfasts are monotonous eggs, milk rice, yoghurts with jam, delicious puff pastries, dry breakfasts, stewed vegetables. Mousses, fruit tea coffee, day after day the same.
Lunches and dinners: here I was pleasantly surprised - fried vegetables in batter, stewed vegetables, a lot of salads, always fish, beef, poultry, french fries, sometimes beef liver, soups, normal fruits, sweets, everything is very tasty.
Do not list everything. The child found something to eat. Personally, I never ate side dishes, only meat, fish and vegetables. It is unlikely that there will be a hungry person with such an assortment.

Insurance. We tested - it works. The doctor came, sewed up a small chin, in short, in the joint up tours, insurance was checked by us not for the first time.

Russians really are treated worse than us, but that is the problem of their culture, their compatriots do everything possible not to be loved, swear, threaten servants with violence, call names, get drunk, demand, provoke conflicts, not all of them, I understand, but the opinion of the Tunisians is exactly that. In general, we liked it. I didn't want to leave and would happily return. Wonderful 3 *, many 4s fall short of this. If you're not looking for something super natural go, for more luxury pay more go elsewhere.

Special attention to the children, well done. The room for 3 adults was initially bad, but thanks to the request of the guide TUI Arina, we were given room 722 with a great sea view with a double bed and 2 singles. Towels were changed daily, but they were so terrible, not white, but yellow with spots. Dark hair was present on the half-villages, the room was cleaned with a rag and that's it. The bed with difficulty and then one was changed, the duvet cover was simply put on the bed. FOOD is not Turkey, there was no variety, but they did not leave hungry. Small fish were given daily, but bony almost always. In the dining room queue, little fruit was given. WATER PROBLEM. In the dining room you can fill a glass and drink on the spot, take-out is prohibited, but we managed to pour it into a bottle. At the bar, there was always a queue pouring 2 glasses into hands, if you want, you still need to become again. There is one bar near the pool, snacks, daily buns and coffee were scattered and after 15 minutes it was empty. But you will not be hungry, there is something to fill your stomach. The weather was not successful for us rain, thunderstorm, strong wind, the sea is dirty - the hotel staff removed the algae only 1 time a little bit. The beach is clean. Change the currency, but not a lot of 50-100 dollars, the hotel has a good exchange rate. The hotel staff is bad, but they speak Russian. Tour operators with excursions do not impose - it's nice. Service at the hotel is slow, Tunisians are in no hurry, like the Turks one foot here one there. Although the hotel is 3 stars, it is necessary to take care of the water for tourists even so. The owners of the hotel should also think about a complete replacement of towels. The territory is landscaped poorly and with Tunisia itself there are only palm trees, everything is neglected, there are very few flowering trees and bushes. Comparing holidays in Turkey and Tunisia, there is no desire to go there anymore. Maybe we rested in the wrong hotel for good emotions, but the impressions were not very good. Time will judge.

The food is excellent, a sea of sweets, various meats and fish, fruits, ice cream. Juices are normal, everyone drinks alcohol, I drank delicious cocktails. The bar has nuts, popcorn. The beach is clean, there are a lot of sun loungers, the pool is excellent and there are enough sun loungers. In the evening there are mosquitoes on the street, but we didn’t have it in the room.
