The hotel was good, 5-7 years ago, and now it looks like a beehive.

We drove from Oasis Travel Ukraine, there were no complaints about the flight and transfer, only positive. The settlement passed with a scandal, although I am not a conflict person. at first they wanted to put us (we traveled with my husband and a child of 4 years old) in a room on the 3rd floor with a steep staircase, but this is half the trouble, the light was not on in the room, there were no handles on the cabinets, and the plumbing promised to be desired, In these rooms accommodate the majority of tourists from our country, if they agree to it. After talking with a pleasant girl Olya, who translates customer complaints to the administration, claiming that she has no influence on them and handling a claim at the reception, we were given a room in the main building, on the ground floor, quite normal, with freshly painted walls (I'm afraid to imagine that it was there before), all that light was not on in the bathroom, but lo and behold, they fixed it the next day))). The way to the beach takes 5-7 minutes, along the street, built up with private apartments, along which some kind of chronically smelly stream flows all the time. Again, we were not lucky with the sea, as there were a huge number of biting jellyfish almost all the time, except for the last days when the wind picked up and the jellyfish disappeared. After I was bitten, I had the idea to buy a burkini))))). The pool at the hotel is very good, just huge, the slides work by the hour and there were usually enough for those who wanted to ride. The restaurant is aimed at the majority of Tunisians, Algerians and Moroccans living in the hotel, i. e. most of the dishes are spicy and not familiar to us. But there was always food, a lot of meat, side dishes too, desserts in bulk, from fruits, there were watermelons, melons, grapes, a couple of times peaches, apples. I can't help but talk about the queues in restaurants, they are huge and annoying, for several days the air conditioning did not work in the restaurants, so the heat was terrible.
The animation at the hotel is in Arabic, sometimes translated into French, but in some places and every other time, one woman animator spoke English, but this does not help the children much and only children's discos remain for our children, translators are not needed there
We were the third time in this hotel, before that we were in 2010 and 2012, such a mess, there has never been. We were familiar with the peculiarities of the Tunisian service, but this time it surpassed itself. The staff hopes for the return of tourists from England, Germany and other European countries, as it was a few years ago, but I'm afraid that such a service will not suit them. About safety, there are a lot of military and police in the city and its environs, they are very friendly to tourists, several armed guards were constantly on duty on the beach, there were no excesses. Tunisians are for the most part the nicest people, which brightens up the overall impression. Resting is still good, so thanks to Tunisia and perhaps goodbye!
