We went together with a friend (we are 20 and 23). in fact, everything turned out much better !!!!!
Of course, it cannot be compared with Egypt, Turkey, it is somewhat worse... but in Tunisia, tourism was developed 20 years ago, and then it died down... as the locals explained to us, they simply stopped investing money in this business. As it was 20 years ago, it has practically remained so...
We were afraid that we were going alone, without men to an Arab country....But the local male population is friendly, no more... You can safely walk the streets both during the day and in the evening...
I was very pleased with the super location of the Caravan in the city center. The Medina - the local market - and other large stores is within easy reach... Consider how to live in St. Petersburg on Nevsky... There, even in Russian, everyone calmly speaks, even strange somehow well...

A couple of steps to the sea across the road, and the pool lights up well... You can always agree on the price of sunbeds... we generally bargained for 1 dinar for 2 hedgehogs (instead of 3 for one). The main thing is not to get lost and prove, like them, that you are right!
The staff is friendly, if you are friendly to them too... And if you also financially support them with 1 dinar, then it’s also more friendly... Each time they brought flowers to the table for dinner, simply because we DID NOT demand them, nor with who did not swear, but greeted everyone nicely. Simple courtesy works wonders in Tunisia.
The weather was not very already... autumn - it is autumn in Africa too....sometimes wind and rain, but these days you could calmly walk around the city...
We went to Port El Kantaoui . . beauty... Excursion to the Sahara for 2 days also liked... especially camels and jeep riding...
We were glad that we took half board... For the difference in money, we bought delicious and cheap fruits and drinks in the store (A super-cheap store like our department stores and St. Petersburg "folk" is 20 steps away) And everyone else suffered with terrible drinks (juices - like yuppies, wine is strong and sour) and I don’t want to eat at lunch because of the heat...
If you leave the hotel to the left, there is a chic hookah bar around the corner... for only 2.5 dinars you can get a portion of pleasure...
Girls! Girls! Women! It's just a shopping paradise. . . Such low prices that you just can't believe it. . . Of course, in the boutiques opposite the hotel they are a bit high compared to the market. . . (and even then not at all for St. Petersburg) But you can bargain up to the factory price + 1.2 dinars. . . I bought myself a very nice little bag made of ram's skin literally for nothing -100 rubles all the pleasure. . . jewelry, shoes - everything, as they say, "for free"
We went to a restaurant in a nearby hotel... 4 * more expensive and it seems like it should be better, but not that... deserted, boring, pensioner's vacation...
By the way, when we arrived, there were practically no young people... the average age and type of vacationers were married couples over 50, women about 40, men under 50... it was even somehow sad at first...

In general, the hotel is good for 3 stars... I'm glad that I rested there... I'll go there in May-early June... I advise all friends and acquaintances ! !
