The hotel is so true to the reviews that when we were taken to room 510, overlooking the street, and immediately offered another room with a beautiful view of the sea and pool for $ 20, I almost burst out laughing.
My friend and I decided in principle not to pay extra for anything and to anyone in Tunisia.
We found an approach to the capricious toilet - just removed the lid and periodically corrected the mechanism. The lack of a hair dryer was disappointing.
We washed the floors ourselves - with one of the towels (we used to walk barefoot and it was unpleasant to do it on a dirty floor)... It seems that not only we did this - apparently that's why the towels have such a gray color. The maid was allowed into the room only once in 12 days of rest - she changed the towels and made the beds . . For which she received 2 chocolate truffles - our only present to the local population.

Unfortunately, Tunisia was our first experience of food poisoning. We were cut off from the all inclusive for three days as we were unable to look at the food.
Beach. Wonderful, pleasant sand, gentle clean water. Unfortunately, the watchman of the sun loungers drove us from his own beach, since we arrived with our own rug, and did not buy lying places from him... By the end of our trip, the sea had cooled down from 25 to 20 degrees, swimming was not so comfortable. In general, after October 10, the weather deteriorates - rains and cold winds make you doubt that you are in Africa.
Animation and disco in the hotel remained a mystery to us. We honestly tried to wait for the entertainment, but the time difference of 3 hours always put us to bed long before the start of the festivities.
We had fun walking along the beaches and the streets of the city... We went to the Medina 4 times - the local market, which reminded me of the series "Clone". In Morocco, the Medina is almost the same.
The variety of goods and prices are pleasing, but the amazing rudeness of the sellers does not fit into any framework. Apparently, it is better for two girls in Sousse not to walk without an escort of men or without a scarf on their heads. Knowing about the intrusiveness of the Arabs, they wore closed clothes, but still they heard hooting and exclamations of “Russia, sexy, do you want to fuck-fuck”... Unpleasant, to put it mildly. Not to mention the Russian mate, which the locals have mastered well.
We wanted to know what Tunisia is. For me it:
- Sousse is a dirty city, smelling of sewage,
- Arabs are annoying crooks (they are constantly trying to deceive),
- Sand - pleasant, gentle, affectionate,
- The sea is different, more often - transparent turquoise, sometimes - full of garbage from algae and human waste.
If someday I happen to get to this country, I would like to settle in a tourist center, resting no later than October 10 and no more than 7-9 days.
